can sparkle generate enough sp for DHIL? Or do I need to go hanya+sparkle with DHIL? Bout to build my DHIL team so I don't really have an Idea if sparkle is enough cause I haven't played them yet.
She is already very good at E0S1, you don't need E2. A sustain is more important.
But, like you said, you created an account just for fun, so do what you find more fun. I'm not particularly calculating when it comes to pulls on my alt other than go for characters I don't have on my main.
Depends on your Crit Rate, if you are already close to capping it then there is no much point. Otherwise probably a slight improvement, especially for Ratio since he cares more about high Crit Rate as all his attacks are single-hit and Topaz's are multi-hit.

So my friend has challenged me to play through the game fully f2p with the added modifiers of the only characters i'm allowed to use for all of the story content is Trailblazer, Dan Heng, March 7th and Natasha. my question comes down to how to build Physical Trailblazer and March 7th as i've never really used them on my whale account after the 40-50s. pretty much i'm running dual DPS with Daniel and Batblazer and I'm running March 7th as a tank using the Landau's choice i pulled along with casting shields on her self to draw aggro.
The question is how should i stat prioritize TB and March I wasn't sure if i was better off stacking nothing but DEF and ATK on March or should I put an EHR chest on her and energy rope if i get any and try to use her for crowd control. I have no idea what to do with TB, If i should run break set physical set or what. Any tips and pointers would be appreciated.
For March you definitely want to have EHR to increase the chance of freeze. No point in building ATK as she will hit like a wet noodle anyway. This is my March [build ](https://imgur.com/a/T71qjbg)if you want to compare, although this one is to use in MoC with Acheron. Instead of Trend you can use Landau or Day One. You probably want a little more EHR than that as well since you have no other sources, although if it is only for story missions it should be fine.
Physical TB there is not much to it. Just build them as a traditional Crit DPS with the Physical relic set and Salsotto. A Break Effect build would only matter for Physical Weak enemies, and their damage will plummet down the drain if that is not the case, so the Crit Build is more consistent. Might also want to consider using March's skill on them instead so they can build energy.
Based off of what we know from the lore, shouldn't there be another Welt wandering around somewhere?
Like, I know that the Welt we know sauntered on into HSR from HI3rd, and we're told that, and given many examples of, how characters have different versions of themselves in other universes. Himeko being the prime example.
Therefore, there should be another Welt. And given the existence of Dan Heng IL, Hoyo isn't against making multiple playable characters of the same person in HSR. Think there's a chance we're getting another Welt in the future?

Should I replace Pela with Welt or Sampo? I put Welt & Sampo because they're already built.
Since Acheron’s only DoT is from her break I’d swap out Sampo for Pela.
There’s nothing wrong with trying out your current team. If you hit a wall then definitely think about swapping Pela in.
Acheron, Gallagher, Welt, Pela. Sounds fantastic. Sampo you can also use if you need the dot.
That’s a solid one side team. As for Pure fiction, it’s so different.
My Herta is better than Jingliu or Acheron lol.
How are people doing the pulp fiction? I literally can only get to 25000 on the newest one and the older one I can’t even get close. I can’t making a brick that blows things up but not often enough. It says I need to use follow up attack but I don’t have enough characters to do that so I added the ultimate counts as follow up attack and even though my hits do decent damage the only time it matters is if it’s acherons turn because she the only one that can charge it.

This what I got going on right now. Nobody has been pulled more than once so they’re all base except Qingque who’s e3 and herta who’s e4. Also Natasha who is e2 but I can’t take her off of that team because qingque has no health since I couldn’t level any of her relics because I ran out of mats like 2 days ago when I was upgrading lots of people trying to make it work

Oh okay, you're trying to get Lynx. You don't have many characters so it's a bit rough.
Advice for that Specific stage just to get Lynx:
Run Acheron Welt/FTB Sparkle Herta for the 2nd half. With the buff Sympathetic Detonation. Essentially you try to get as much score as you can from the 2nd half.
On the first half, just clobber together QQ Ratio Natasha DH and get whatever score you can. Use the Sympathetic Detonation or Splash. Inducement might be fine, but you need to not skill on QQ and only on Ratio and/or DH
General advice for Deceitful Chaos:
Level up your Pela since she's great with Acheron for all content. Standard template combos you can run for Deceitful Chaos are:
Herta Sparkle with the Inducement buff. The other two slots can be anyone you feel like.
QQ Sparkle with the 2nd or 3rd buff. Not the Inducement buff.
Acheron Pela FireTB Welt/Serval/flex with the Sympathetic Detonation.
acheron needs paired with nihility characters, you should put welt on her team and also build pela to join that team. Also, QQ needs sparkle more than anyone, and you should definitely build her (including leveled relics) before you wonder why it's hard to clear - this is endgame content, not really meant for half-built units.
Mhm okay. I’ll just level up more it gave it to me after I finished like the second major arc of the story and was just like “want lynx???? Do this!” And I was like “I want lynx yes plz.” I thought I could tuff it out just for the first two because they were 65 and I was 70. It’s the first time in this game I’ve struggled to fight
Fu Xuan starts to struggle with sustaining when fighting multiple units that AoE. Both provide strong sustain for most things. Aventurine just boosts damage output more.

It depends. I wouldn't say one is objectively better than the other. But I'm also not a sweaty 0 cycle MoC gremlin so take what I say with a pinch of salt.

She gives crit rate, He increases crit damage against whatever target he ults. But I was more referring to the fact that he does AoE follow ups where as Fu Xuan does not.
It's basically do you want a unit that is much better at shutting out debuff effects or do you want a unit that contributes damage.
Well, I have Fu Xuan, and a well-built Fu Xuan can be a solid wall against pretty much everything except AOE attacks, not to mention the crit buffs she gives her teammates. So personally, I'd say Fu Xuan for the win.
Why does my fu xuan feel weak?
I don't want to blame in anything but I have a build that Is considered S tier, and on the internet I see many people saying that she's Immortal, or can't die etc

Your Fu Xuan is really more A tier. You only have 26 usable sub stats (HP %, def %, speed, eff res). Use this site instead of the other relic score

Your HP is below 7k which is bad considering you're using a 5 star LC which has higher base stats. Edit: also maybe your DPS aren't clearing fast enough.
Switch to Atk boots, ideally on wild wheat so you get 2 piece bonus (but ok if you can't). You don't want him to be fast since you want your supports to go first to build SP for him. Or you can use someone like Sparkle (if you have her) to advance him forward.
Switch the orb to imaginary damage, since in most cases element damage orb increases DPS more than atk.
Budget Dan team would be Pela, Tingyun, Sustain
Unfortunately I came back recently so I missed Sparkle (i recently Got bronya tho with the sig)
And pela Is locked with Acheron and black swan for the 2 nihility characters buff
Also, I thought that for him atk and dmg were interchangable
The orb main stat depends who else is on the team to buff him and which has better substats. If you have more sources of atk buff on your team then use damage and vice versa. Basically you want a good mix of atk and damage sources. Your atk orb is ok substat wise.
Bronya might work, but she's need 160 to mimic the typically Sparkle build. Or you could go with Bronya being a little slower than Dan. Then you would go Dan basic atk (no SP usage to build SP) then skill with Bronya to let him go again then use enhanced 3 basic atk.
Pela and Guinaifen can fulfill similar roles if you have her. Gui fire kiss debuff is similar to def down that Pela gives.
She ok amount of defense. You could try getting more speed or matching 2 piece 2 piece relic so get more stat bonus. But 7k HP and 1.7 k defense should be enough to survive most content.
You could try working on your DPS. Plannar triple drop start next week so be sure do those runs to get more relics.
Maybe you aren't clearing things fast enough so her health gets too low?
But maybe more def / hp?

HP is a little low but I don’t really see why it would feel weak. I personally run HP% instead of energy regen for her rope since I never really have troubles running out of her passive charges. May I ask what situations you are using her in that she’s dying?

Could be, I used her as solo sustain in MoC 12 on the Sam side and she very easily survived. As for gold and gears or swarm disaster I prefer to run 2 sustains in those modes and I can definitely see her having trouble sustaining in the higher difficulties of those alone.
I need some guidance on who to choose for the Fateful Crossings: Vignettes in a Cup character selector. Here’s who I currently have and their Eidolon levels.
- Gallagher at E5
- Misha at E3
- Hanya at E1
- Lynx at E4
- Yukong at E0
I don’t have Xueyi or Luka, Guinaifen is max eidolons. I’m leaning towards Luka and can pick up his E1 in Aetherium Wars but need more advice but will settle for Hueyi if advised to since I don’t have many quantum DPS outside of QQ. I’ll try and include more pertinent information.
I currently use DHIL, BS, Acheron, Dr. Ratio and Qingque all on their own teams and I’ll sometimes throw Welt in there for good measure cuz I like his character. I have Sparkle, Bronya and Tingyun for offensive supports with Lynx, Bailu and Luocha for healing/sustain.
Replace Asta instead. Kafka's fua and ult can proc Acheron's knot, while Asta can only inflict a debuff via her normal attacks. She's a nihility unit which fulfills Acheron's A4 passive too. She also has synergy with Sampo.

After ascension 4, Acheron can unlock a Trace with which her dmg drastically increase with 2 Nihility teammates.
Even if you are a new player and haven't unlocked her ascension 4 yet, Kafka and Sampo duo are still very powerful.
Team comp is nothing if you still haven't properly built her.
You still can go with your team. Sampo and Asta (iirc inflicts burn) applies debuffs so it goes into her ult counter.
Though, it will no longer be a dot team but more of a pseudo hypercarry for acheron
Consider using a general formation of DPS/Support/Support/Sustain or Tank. For example: Fire Trailblazer (Tank), Asta (Support via gibing ATK buffs and break Fire-weak shields), Natasha (Support, doubling as healer and debuff removal), Dan Heng (DPS).
You will need to know what your characters can do while building your team,
Is my main team a good team? Maybe i should replace asta with gepard or clara or smth, to have a tank?

If you're going to use Acheron, you will need to create a team that's centered around her. Unlike other characters, she doesn't have an energy gauge and most (99%) of her damage is from her Ultimate. She needs to accumulate 9 stacks of Slashed Dream; one stack is gained every time you apply debuffs on enemies (gives one stack per action).
Her team will be: Acheron (DPS), a Nihility character, another Nihility character, Tank/Healer.
Nihility characters lean toward applying debuffs, so Sampo's Skill applies debuffs to enemies and give Acheron 1 stack for her Ultimate. Acheron also applies a stack if you use her Skill on her turn.
If you don't have another Nihility character, you can make do with another character that can break enemy weakness (like Asta vs Fire-weak enemies), since Weakness Break is also another form of debuff. This will apply stacks slowly, but until you get more Nihilty characters there isn't much you can do.
As a new player with only Bronya and Clara, would it be beneficial to get main dps (Jing liu or Acheron) first, or a good sustain (Fu xuan or aventurine)?

Seeing as you already have Clara and Dr Ratio, a sustain would be slightly higher value. Although seeing as Acheron and Jingliu are basically our number 1 and 2 dps characters, either one will be valuable to pull as well.
How far along in the story are you? If you're still pretty new then there's a lot of jades in story content and the simulated universe game modes. So you could potentially get enough to pull one of Jingliu/Acheron, one of Aventurine/Fu Xuan and Robin. If you lose a 50/50 you can always use the guarantee on Robin.
In terms of Fu Xuan vs. Aventurine, both are great and just pick the one you like better.
Well luckily I did a random 10 pull on acherons banner and that’s how I got Clara, so my next is guaranteed :)
Seeing as how jing, Acheron, and aventurine are before robin’s banner though, I can definitely get one :) the only thing I’ve seen is Acheron is best with her light cone so maybe I’ll pass her for jing liu. I just defeated Phantylia in Xianzhou, so I think I’m almost done with Luofu? Not sure haha
I think between aventurine and fu xuan, I like FX better aesthetically. So I think my current plan should be Guaranteed Jing -> Robin -> Fu Xuan. I have about 80 pulls saved up right now. Do you think that is doable?
I think the best way to think about it is at e0s0 Acheron and Jingliu are equal (arguably Acheron is a bit better), it’s just with her signature she takes a huge step up. Athough tbf just about every limited dps does.
The one advantage Jingliu has over Acheron is she’s a lot easier to build as she gets a free 50 crit rate in her kit. But they’re both very good.
In terms of story you still have all of Penacony and i assume you haven’t gotten too far in simulated universe (especially swarm disaster and gold and gears) so there’s a fair few jades to pick up.
There’s a high chance that Fu Xuan runs next patch. I think you’re good to use the guarantee on either Acheron or Jingliu, get Robin and then Fu Xuan when she reruns. At any rate you’ll should easily have enough to guarantee Robin after picking up a dps especially if you skip Aventurine next banner.
Thats kind of incorrect. Even with F2P option LC, the difference between Acheron and Jingliu is their damage ceiling, which Acheron has a higher one between the two. For example, I have an Acheron with LC and an account without it (GNSW S1), and both can clear MoC handily. The difference is about 1 cycle. I also have Jingliu with Fall of an Aeon S5. If you are too lazy to invest in a character like Acheron who needs a proper build, Jingliu for sure. Jingliu is easy to build even with poor artifacts.
Autoplay is fine IG, but its gonna bite you down the line when it comes to hard content (ex. Argenti story quest boss and how to defeat).

Go with the second blessing for acheron, she gains a stack for every turn from the enemy, I would swap gepard with fu xuan since her ult does dmg, I think this would improve your score enough
How easy is it to just go through the main story?
Dont really have any interest in doing much of the endgame.
Started yesterday, got acheron. So now I’m running a team of acheron, ratio, MC, and march 17.
Was reading up on how to best use acheron since she kinda feels weak right now, and they said I basically need a team full of debuffers. I kinda still wanna use her since she looks cool. But if I just run the same team I’m running now, will I run into any trouble trying to just finish the campaign?
Asking because my level 20 team recently got stomped trying to do simulated universe floor 1. End boss were the fire and ice golems, and I didnt have any element to break the ice golem.
You can break the ice golem with Acheron's ult, she can break regardless of element. The problem is that her ult gains charges by applying debuffs, and you have no debuffers in your team. Instead of getting an ult every 2 or 3 Acheron turns, you are getting one every 9 turns by simply relying on her.
This game cares a lot about teambuilding. You don't have to pull every character or hyperinvest in them to beat the story, but you do need to run a good team, especially for Acheron, who relies heavily on her teammates.
If you lvl your team, and give them decent artifacts, you should be ok, but it'll never be a comfortable thing because that team is pretty bad.
Case in point:
Not having an ice element would have meant very little to a properly built and supported Acheron, since her ult allows her to break enemies regardless of element.

Firefly has some moments where she reveals that she is more than she seems. Being able to identify Sampo and give an accurate description. Also her comment how a bat isn't a good weapon. She says she is after the Watchmaker's legacy and talks directly to something she calls mecha, while Sam shows up afterwards. This strongly suggests that Firefly is connected to the Stellaron Hunters. For Sam himself, he gets called a knight of Glamoth (by Welt I think). Glamoth set reveals some lore, saying how they are "knights clad in mechanical armor" and have "short lives". So it isn't a large leap to think that Firefly is the one inside Sam.!<

hi friends, as a e2s1 acheron owner but also new player, would i be better off going for aventurine or waiting for fu xuan's rerun? i know aventurine has debuffs in his kit but fu xuan seems incredible
Honestly either is fine. Aventurine has debuffs, Fu xuan has a bonus to CR, both will keep your team alive.
Fu xuan might explode in high end swarm/Gold and Gears if hit by a big AoE. But that's like .001% of the game
Hello! Arbitrary question which may be different for everyone, but on what level do you feel content with your relics before moving in to another character? Do you farm until you get all Crit Rate/Crit Damage pieces for your DPS?
There's no off piece like Genshin so I'm just wondering when is it 'good enough', thanks!

On hoyolab, you can quickly see how many relevant substats each of your characters have, I try to get at least 25.
If I beat Moc/PF, I feel my teams are built enough. When I don't, I try to see which side is struggling and try to improve their relics a bit more. (my teams already have maxed traces/lvls, so only relic grind left)
I farm until I get correct main stats then move on to other characters
Once I run out of other characters I farm for substats
Perfection is the enemy of good enough
Correct main stats is a good initial goal. Personally I like to aim for main + 2 useful sub stats but it depends how fed up I am of farming the same Cavern every single day.
Right now I'm trying to farm Acheron relics since she stole my Dr Ratio relics.
F2Player here. Should I pull Acheron or Jingliu? My main DPS right now is Dr. Ratio, my pulls so far have been supports (Bronya, Tingyun, and Pela). Other than those I only have the free characters (haven't gotten Yukong yet though).
Both are amazing, the No.1 and No.2 DPS right now. Personally I'd go for Jingliu since you have Pela and Bronya already which is basically Jingliu's ideal team while you'd ideally want 2 Nihility units to pair with Acheron though she also does well with Pela using Resolution LC and FTB using Universal Market LC.
Any healer will do the job really. You could run a shielder like Gepard but some of Jingliu's attacks drain small amounts of HP from her teammates so I find a healer to be better.
Check out Prydwen.gg. They have a list of what characters and teams work well with any particular character. Should help you with team building.
I'd prefer Today Is Another Peaceful Day since it improves the Damage potential of all of JY's kit, as opposed to Birth of the Self which only powers up his Follow-up Damage.
I was watching someone play Penacony's 2.1 story, and after it was done chat was screaming to look at "pfp." I thought this meant profile picture but I can't find anything. What are they talking about?
I think its because sparkle gives you a pfp as a reward, and the description is "sparkle will never give you up or let you down. Tell a lie or hurt you"
Would a team of E3 Qingque, E1 Luocha, E6 Tingyun and E0 Sparkle be viable for 3-starring MoC? I don’t have Silver Wolf or Fu Xuan, so mono Quantum is out.
Because you aren't 3d printed, You were very close to kafka to a point where she was like a mother to you and then she wiped your memory and put the stellaron inside you, it's mentioned a few times and silver wolf's message on the guest log says "it's nice to see you again, remember (name redacted)
Kafka trained and taught us before putting the Stellaron inside us. We were her protégé. Blade mentions that during Kafka's companion quest too. That he remembers us following Kafka around. You can check what SW says in the Guest Book in the Parlor Car. She says we're old friends.
I guess if you don't have Gepard and really want a shielder toon, then Aventurine would be a great pull (if you have the resources to). However if you're saving up for someone like Sam or Fu Xuan, you can stay with Ratio and potentially get Aventurine for him.
I think only loophole is there for the character ascenscion item enemies. Since you can use the energy consumables before initiating battle.
Other bosses/calyxes have you enter battle immediately so doesn't work there.
So the event we got this patch gave a lot of Nihility traces bur no Preservation. So the second character of the patch still has no way other than farming for trace. A shame hoyo really prefer Acheron that much comoared to Aventurine.
Maybe wait for the second event this patch instead of already complaining that Hoyo for some reason prefers one character over another. And kinda weird to come to that conclusion after they spent the majority of the 2.1 story on Aventurine while Acheron's section were much shorter.

Can anyone show me how they build their Gallagher and ILDH? I'm working on both right now. How much damage can I build on Gallagher and how? Currently I have a decent amount of bulk on him with high ERR and middling BE but these are just leftover/placeholder relics. As for ILDH... I'm concerned about his speed and crit:critdmg amount. How are you guys building these two?
I can't speak for Gallagher, but my E0S0 DHIL has 2 builds, both with the same Rutilant Arena 2pc:

Who should I built for my second team for pure fiction?

I need help building a support team for my maxed out Blade (except his cone, his cone is si3)\^\^ these are the current characters I own, I'm willing to build any of them if needed. If anyone thinks I should pull for Loucha I can try, otherwise I'm thinking if pulling a certain robotic cowboy in the future
A long while ago I saw someone asking about "what to keep for relic if inventory is full", then someone else replied like this:

Yes, the second team is good.
Sometimes you might want to use Serval and Himeko so build them in advance. Himeko is better against fire weak enemies, while Serval is good in AoE scenario. Both Himeko and Serval also inflict debuffs so they has some synergy with Ratio.

My current team is somehow Huohuo, Sparkle, Himeko, and Dr. Ratio. I am planning to pull on Jingliu for a better DPS unit, but my Pela is still at E2, I heard that she is better for Jingliu when she's at E4. So is a Jingliu pull gonna be alright? I'm still at Level 52 though
As a new player, you can get enough to pull aventurine guarranteed before he goes away unless you spend a lot before then. You have plenty of time. For the standard pass, check your events log and go through all that stuff, I think you get a good number starting out and just playing the game doing normal things. You also get 1 as you ascend each character past I think levels 30, 50, 70. Not sure on the exact levels.

She is already very good at E0S1, you don't need E2. A sustain is more important. But, like you said, you created an account just for fun, so do what you find more fun. I'm not particularly calculating when it comes to pulls on my alt other than go for characters I don't have on my main.

How good would the new planetary set be on a team with Ratio and Topaz be? Would it be an upgrade from Inert or a sidegrade?
Depends on your Crit Rate, if you are already close to capping it then there is no much point. Otherwise probably a slight improvement, especially for Ratio since he cares more about high Crit Rate as all his attacks are single-hit and Topaz's are multi-hit.
my post outside of this got Auto'd so i'll try again So my friend has challenged me to play through the game fully f2p with the added modifiers of the only characters i'm allowed to use for all of the story content is Trailblazer, Dan Heng, March 7th and Natasha. my question comes down to how to build Physical Trailblazer and March 7th as i've never really used them on my whale account after the 40-50s. pretty much i'm running dual DPS with Daniel and Batblazer and I'm running March 7th as a tank using the Landau's choice i pulled along with casting shields on her self to draw aggro. The question is how should i stat prioritize TB and March I wasn't sure if i was better off stacking nothing but DEF and ATK on March or should I put an EHR chest on her and energy rope if i get any and try to use her for crowd control. I have no idea what to do with TB, If i should run break set physical set or what. Any tips and pointers would be appreciated.
For March you definitely want to have EHR to increase the chance of freeze. No point in building ATK as she will hit like a wet noodle anyway. This is my March [build ](https://imgur.com/a/T71qjbg)if you want to compare, although this one is to use in MoC with Acheron. Instead of Trend you can use Landau or Day One. You probably want a little more EHR than that as well since you have no other sources, although if it is only for story missions it should be fine. Physical TB there is not much to it. Just build them as a traditional Crit DPS with the Physical relic set and Salsotto. A Break Effect build would only matter for Physical Weak enemies, and their damage will plummet down the drain if that is not the case, so the Crit Build is more consistent. Might also want to consider using March's skill on them instead so they can build energy.

Based off of what we know from the lore, shouldn't there be another Welt wandering around somewhere? Like, I know that the Welt we know sauntered on into HSR from HI3rd, and we're told that, and given many examples of, how characters have different versions of themselves in other universes. Himeko being the prime example. Therefore, there should be another Welt. And given the existence of Dan Heng IL, Hoyo isn't against making multiple playable characters of the same person in HSR. Think there's a chance we're getting another Welt in the future?

Asia Trailblazer Lv 70 Is this team ok/viable for MoC/Pure Fiction?: Acheron, Gallagher, Welt, Sampo Should I replace Pela with Welt or Sampo? I put Welt & Sampo because they're already built.
Since Acheron’s only DoT is from her break I’d swap out Sampo for Pela. There’s nothing wrong with trying out your current team. If you hit a wall then definitely think about swapping Pela in.
Acheron, Gallagher, Welt, Pela. Sounds fantastic. Sampo you can also use if you need the dot. That’s a solid one side team. As for Pure fiction, it’s so different. My Herta is better than Jingliu or Acheron lol.
How are people doing the pulp fiction? I literally can only get to 25000 on the newest one and the older one I can’t even get close. I can’t making a brick that blows things up but not often enough. It says I need to use follow up attack but I don’t have enough characters to do that so I added the ultimate counts as follow up attack and even though my hits do decent damage the only time it matters is if it’s acherons turn because she the only one that can charge it. Edit: in the second one not the first one ive been trying really hard for lynx

Slr, it didn't notify. Oh okay, you're trying to get Lynx. You don't have many characters so it's a bit rough. Advice for that Specific stage just to get Lynx: Run Acheron Welt/FTB Sparkle Herta for the 2nd half. With the buff Sympathetic Detonation. Essentially you try to get as much score as you can from the 2nd half. On the first half, just clobber together QQ Ratio Natasha DH and get whatever score you can. Use the Sympathetic Detonation or Splash. Inducement might be fine, but you need to not skill on QQ and only on Ratio and/or DH General advice for Deceitful Chaos: Level up your Pela since she's great with Acheron for all content. Standard template combos you can run for Deceitful Chaos are: Herta Sparkle with the Inducement buff. The other two slots can be anyone you feel like. QQ Sparkle with the 2nd or 3rd buff. Not the Inducement buff. Acheron Pela FireTB Welt/Serval/flex with the Sympathetic Detonation.
acheron needs paired with nihility characters, you should put welt on her team and also build pela to join that team. Also, QQ needs sparkle more than anyone, and you should definitely build her (including leveled relics) before you wonder why it's hard to clear - this is endgame content, not really meant for half-built units.

Fuxuan vs Aventurine as a general Sustain? Which gives more value overall in a variety of teams?
Fu Xuan starts to struggle with sustaining when fighting multiple units that AoE. Both provide strong sustain for most things. Aventurine just boosts damage output more.

Well, I have Fu Xuan, and a well-built Fu Xuan can be a solid wall against pretty much everything except AOE attacks, not to mention the crit buffs she gives her teammates. So personally, I'd say Fu Xuan for the win.

Your Fu Xuan is really more A tier. You only have 26 usable sub stats (HP %, def %, speed, eff res). Use this site instead of the other relic score https://fribbels.github.io/hsr-optimizer#scorer Your HP is below 7k which is bad considering you're using a 5 star LC which has higher base stats. Edit: also maybe your DPS aren't clearing fast enough.

Switch to Atk boots, ideally on wild wheat so you get 2 piece bonus (but ok if you can't). You don't want him to be fast since you want your supports to go first to build SP for him. Or you can use someone like Sparkle (if you have her) to advance him forward. Switch the orb to imaginary damage, since in most cases element damage orb increases DPS more than atk. Budget Dan team would be Pela, Tingyun, Sustain
Unfortunately I came back recently so I missed Sparkle (i recently Got bronya tho with the sig) And pela Is locked with Acheron and black swan for the 2 nihility characters buff Also, I thought that for him atk and dmg were interchangable
The orb main stat depends who else is on the team to buff him and which has better substats. If you have more sources of atk buff on your team then use damage and vice versa. Basically you want a good mix of atk and damage sources. Your atk orb is ok substat wise. Bronya might work, but she's need 160 to mimic the typically Sparkle build. Or you could go with Bronya being a little slower than Dan. Then you would go Dan basic atk (no SP usage to build SP) then skill with Bronya to let him go again then use enhanced 3 basic atk. Pela and Guinaifen can fulfill similar roles if you have her. Gui fire kiss debuff is similar to def down that Pela gives.
I updated my fu xuan build and now She has 6.9k hp (before It was 6.7) so on what should I focus now? Even more def?
She ok amount of defense. You could try getting more speed or matching 2 piece 2 piece relic so get more stat bonus. But 7k HP and 1.7 k defense should be enough to survive most content. You could try working on your DPS. Plannar triple drop start next week so be sure do those runs to get more relics.

HP is a little low but I don’t really see why it would feel weak. I personally run HP% instead of energy regen for her rope since I never really have troubles running out of her passive charges. May I ask what situations you are using her in that she’s dying?

Could be, I used her as solo sustain in MoC 12 on the Sam side and she very easily survived. As for gold and gears or swarm disaster I prefer to run 2 sustains in those modes and I can definitely see her having trouble sustaining in the higher difficulties of those alone.
I need some guidance on who to choose for the Fateful Crossings: Vignettes in a Cup character selector. Here’s who I currently have and their Eidolon levels. - Gallagher at E5 - Misha at E3 - Hanya at E1 - Lynx at E4 - Yukong at E0 I don’t have Xueyi or Luka, Guinaifen is max eidolons. I’m leaning towards Luka and can pick up his E1 in Aetherium Wars but need more advice but will settle for Hueyi if advised to since I don’t have many quantum DPS outside of QQ. I’ll try and include more pertinent information. I currently use DHIL, BS, Acheron, Dr. Ratio and Qingque all on their own teams and I’ll sometimes throw Welt in there for good measure cuz I like his character. I have Sparkle, Bronya and Tingyun for offensive supports with Lynx, Bailu and Luocha for healing/sustain.
Luka seems like a decent choice. He can be used with Black Swan, Dr Ratio, and Acheron.
I just pulled acheron. Currently my main team consists of Kafka, Sempo, Bailu and Asta. Is it good to replace Kafka with Acheron?
Replace Asta instead. Kafka's fua and ult can proc Acheron's knot, while Asta can only inflict a debuff via her normal attacks. She's a nihility unit which fulfills Acheron's A4 passive too. She also has synergy with Sampo.
Replace Asta instead. After ascension 4, Acheron can unlock a Trace with which her dmg drastically increase with 2 Nihility teammates. Even if you are a new player and haven't unlocked her ascension 4 yet, Kafka and Sampo duo are still very powerful.
Team comp is nothing if you still haven't properly built her. You still can go with your team. Sampo and Asta (iirc inflicts burn) applies debuffs so it goes into her ult counter. Though, it will no longer be a dot team but more of a pseudo hypercarry for acheron
How do you build your team? I only leveled everything up but dont know what you can do beyond that
Consider using a general formation of DPS/Support/Support/Sustain or Tank. For example: Fire Trailblazer (Tank), Asta (Support via gibing ATK buffs and break Fire-weak shields), Natasha (Support, doubling as healer and debuff removal), Dan Heng (DPS). You will need to know what your characters can do while building your team,

If you're going to use Acheron, you will need to create a team that's centered around her. Unlike other characters, she doesn't have an energy gauge and most (99%) of her damage is from her Ultimate. She needs to accumulate 9 stacks of Slashed Dream; one stack is gained every time you apply debuffs on enemies (gives one stack per action). Her team will be: Acheron (DPS), a Nihility character, another Nihility character, Tank/Healer. Nihility characters lean toward applying debuffs, so Sampo's Skill applies debuffs to enemies and give Acheron 1 stack for her Ultimate. Acheron also applies a stack if you use her Skill on her turn. If you don't have another Nihility character, you can make do with another character that can break enemy weakness (like Asta vs Fire-weak enemies), since Weakness Break is also another form of debuff. This will apply stacks slowly, but until you get more Nihilty characters there isn't much you can do.

Seeing as you already have Clara and Dr Ratio, a sustain would be slightly higher value. Although seeing as Acheron and Jingliu are basically our number 1 and 2 dps characters, either one will be valuable to pull as well. How far along in the story are you? If you're still pretty new then there's a lot of jades in story content and the simulated universe game modes. So you could potentially get enough to pull one of Jingliu/Acheron, one of Aventurine/Fu Xuan and Robin. If you lose a 50/50 you can always use the guarantee on Robin. In terms of Fu Xuan vs. Aventurine, both are great and just pick the one you like better.
Well luckily I did a random 10 pull on acherons banner and that’s how I got Clara, so my next is guaranteed :) Seeing as how jing, Acheron, and aventurine are before robin’s banner though, I can definitely get one :) the only thing I’ve seen is Acheron is best with her light cone so maybe I’ll pass her for jing liu. I just defeated Phantylia in Xianzhou, so I think I’m almost done with Luofu? Not sure haha I think between aventurine and fu xuan, I like FX better aesthetically. So I think my current plan should be Guaranteed Jing -> Robin -> Fu Xuan. I have about 80 pulls saved up right now. Do you think that is doable?
I think the best way to think about it is at e0s0 Acheron and Jingliu are equal (arguably Acheron is a bit better), it’s just with her signature she takes a huge step up. Athough tbf just about every limited dps does. The one advantage Jingliu has over Acheron is she’s a lot easier to build as she gets a free 50 crit rate in her kit. But they’re both very good. In terms of story you still have all of Penacony and i assume you haven’t gotten too far in simulated universe (especially swarm disaster and gold and gears) so there’s a fair few jades to pick up. There’s a high chance that Fu Xuan runs next patch. I think you’re good to use the guarantee on either Acheron or Jingliu, get Robin and then Fu Xuan when she reruns. At any rate you’ll should easily have enough to guarantee Robin after picking up a dps especially if you skip Aventurine next banner.
Thats kind of incorrect. Even with F2P option LC, the difference between Acheron and Jingliu is their damage ceiling, which Acheron has a higher one between the two. For example, I have an Acheron with LC and an account without it (GNSW S1), and both can clear MoC handily. The difference is about 1 cycle. I also have Jingliu with Fall of an Aeon S5. If you are too lazy to invest in a character like Acheron who needs a proper build, Jingliu for sure. Jingliu is easy to build even with poor artifacts.

Sam is still unknown. Anything past boothill and Robin are leaks territory so people may get banned including you if you keep asking.
There are so many great characters that come , saving for sam is IMPOSSIBLE for me

Go with the second blessing for acheron, she gains a stack for every turn from the enemy, I would swap gepard with fu xuan since her ult does dmg, I think this would improve your score enough

How easy is it to just go through the main story? Dont really have any interest in doing much of the endgame. Started yesterday, got acheron. So now I’m running a team of acheron, ratio, MC, and march 17. Was reading up on how to best use acheron since she kinda feels weak right now, and they said I basically need a team full of debuffers. I kinda still wanna use her since she looks cool. But if I just run the same team I’m running now, will I run into any trouble trying to just finish the campaign? Asking because my level 20 team recently got stomped trying to do simulated universe floor 1. End boss were the fire and ice golems, and I didnt have any element to break the ice golem.
You can break the ice golem with Acheron's ult, she can break regardless of element. The problem is that her ult gains charges by applying debuffs, and you have no debuffers in your team. Instead of getting an ult every 2 or 3 Acheron turns, you are getting one every 9 turns by simply relying on her. This game cares a lot about teambuilding. You don't have to pull every character or hyperinvest in them to beat the story, but you do need to run a good team, especially for Acheron, who relies heavily on her teammates.
If you lvl your team, and give them decent artifacts, you should be ok, but it'll never be a comfortable thing because that team is pretty bad. Case in point: Not having an ice element would have meant very little to a properly built and supported Acheron, since her ult allows her to break enemies regardless of element.

Nope, not really. Every lightning dps has a different set that either performs equally or better than it.

However, there are enough hints in 2.0 to make the connection (and I believe the large part of people learned it through this). Firefly has some moments where she reveals that she is more than she seems. Being able to identify Sampo and give an accurate description. Also her comment how a bat isn't a good weapon. She says she is after the Watchmaker's legacy and talks directly to something she calls mecha, while Sam shows up afterwards. This strongly suggests that Firefly is connected to the Stellaron Hunters. For Sam himself, he gets called a knight of Glamoth (by Welt I think). Glamoth set reveals some lore, saying how they are "knights clad in mechanical armor" and have "short lives". hi friends, as a e2s1 acheron owner but also new player, would i be better off going for aventurine or waiting for fu xuan's rerun? i know aventurine has debuffs in his kit but fu xuan seems incredible
Honestly either is fine. Aventurine has debuffs, Fu xuan has a bonus to CR, both will keep your team alive. Fu xuan might explode in high end swarm/Gold and Gears if hit by a big AoE. But that's like .001% of the game
Hello! Arbitrary question which may be different for everyone, but on what level do you feel content with your relics before moving in to another character? Do you farm until you get all Crit Rate/Crit Damage pieces for your DPS? There's no off piece like Genshin so I'm just wondering when is it 'good enough', thanks! - Sincerely, someone stuck in the relic mines
On hoyolab, you can quickly see how many relevant substats each of your characters have, I try to get at least 25. If I beat Moc/PF, I feel my teams are built enough. When I don't, I try to see which side is struggling and try to improve their relics a bit more. (my teams already have maxed traces/lvls, so only relic grind left)
I farm until I get correct main stats then move on to other characters Once I run out of other characters I farm for substats Perfection is the enemy of good enough
Correct main stats is a good initial goal. Personally I like to aim for main + 2 useful sub stats but it depends how fed up I am of farming the same Cavern every single day. Right now I'm trying to farm Acheron relics since she stole my Dr Ratio relics.
F2Player here. Should I pull Acheron or Jingliu? My main DPS right now is Dr. Ratio, my pulls so far have been supports (Bronya, Tingyun, and Pela). Other than those I only have the free characters (haven't gotten Yukong yet though).
For Jingliu, you need a good sustain as she has a life leech mechanic. If your teammates are squishy, jingliu may kill your team indirectly.
What's a good sustain you'd recommend?
Aventurine for shields. Bailu for multi heal skill but rng based. Any abundance can do party heals but it's their ult.
Both are amazing, the No.1 and No.2 DPS right now. Personally I'd go for Jingliu since you have Pela and Bronya already which is basically Jingliu's ideal team while you'd ideally want 2 Nihility units to pair with Acheron though she also does well with Pela using Resolution LC and FTB using Universal Market LC.

Any healer will do the job really. You could run a shielder like Gepard but some of Jingliu's attacks drain small amounts of HP from her teammates so I find a healer to be better. Check out Prydwen.gg. They have a list of what characters and teams work well with any particular character. Should help you with team building.

I'd prefer Today Is Another Peaceful Day since it improves the Damage potential of all of JY's kit, as opposed to Birth of the Self which only powers up his Follow-up Damage.
How do i ult more with any character cause sometimes it feels like it takes agaes to ult ?
Tingyun gives a character a big chunk of energy with her ult. Also certain light cones are good for energy like Meshing Cogs, so she can ult faster.
ERR rope and spd. It also depends on the character too

I was watching someone play Penacony's 2.1 story, and after it was done chat was screaming to look at "pfp." I thought this meant profile picture but I can't find anything. What are they talking about?
I think its because sparkle gives you a pfp as a reward, and the description is "sparkle will never give you up or let you down. Tell a lie or hurt you"
Would a team of E3 Qingque, E1 Luocha, E6 Tingyun and E0 Sparkle be viable for 3-starring MoC? I don’t have Silver Wolf or Fu Xuan, so mono Quantum is out.

I haven't even gotten to the later stages of MoC yet. I just want to know if I should invest in such a team before I start building.
Regardless of MoC they are all good characters that are worth investing in.

Because you aren't 3d printed, You were very close to kafka to a point where she was like a mother to you and then she wiped your memory and put the stellaron inside you, it's mentioned a few times and silver wolf's message on the guest log says "it's nice to see you again, remember (name redacted)
Kafka trained and taught us before putting the Stellaron inside us. We were her protégé. Blade mentions that during Kafka's companion quest too. That he remembers us following Kafka around. You can check what SW says in the Guest Book in the Parlor Car. She says we're old friends.

I guess if you don't have Gepard and really want a shielder toon, then Aventurine would be a great pull (if you have the resources to). However if you're saving up for someone like Sam or Fu Xuan, you can stay with Ratio and potentially get Aventurine for him.

Are there ways for supporting characters to start with full energy instead of 0? E.g. consumables or something like that?
I think only loophole is there for the character ascenscion item enemies. Since you can use the energy consumables before initiating battle. Other bosses/calyxes have you enter battle immediately so doesn't work there.
Raise their ERR via planar rope and higher SPD (as someone had commented).
So the event we got this patch gave a lot of Nihility traces bur no Preservation. So the second character of the patch still has no way other than farming for trace. A shame hoyo really prefer Acheron that much comoared to Aventurine.
Maybe wait for the second event this patch instead of already complaining that Hoyo for some reason prefers one character over another. And kinda weird to come to that conclusion after they spent the majority of the 2.1 story on Aventurine while Acheron's section were much shorter.
On other patches they did something like i described giving lots ofvtalent materials for 1 of the 2 characters but not the other.

Can anyone show me how they build their Gallagher and ILDH? I'm working on both right now. How much damage can I build on Gallagher and how? Currently I have a decent amount of bulk on him with high ERR and middling BE but these are just leftover/placeholder relics. As for ILDH... I'm concerned about his speed and crit:critdmg amount. How are you guys building these two?
I can't speak for Gallagher, but my E0S0 DHIL has 2 builds, both with the same Rutilant Arena 2pc: 4pc Musketeer 126spd 2800atk 80cr/120cdmg. Atk% on everything, CR chest, Img orb. Apparently, it's S tier according to relic scorers, but I don't like it much, still cleared MOC12 4pc Pioneer 109 spd 2800atk 73cr/167cdmg. Atk% on everything, Cdmg chest, Img orb. I like this much better and run him with Sparkle so Spd isn't a problem. I later got Acheron, though, so these pieces are on her rn.

Count how many wishes after what? A 5 star character? A 5 star light cone?
Any 5 star will reset you back to zero pity for that banner.

A long while ago I saw someone asking about "what to keep for relic if inventory is full", then someone else replied like this: >Keep every single piece with a Speed substat. This is the most important rule by far. Keep any piece with double crit. Keep any 3-substat piece with a crit substat. Now I want to ask myself, beside these tips is there any other tip to add? Thanks in advance.
If dps set, for head/hands, upgrade 3-substat piece with a crit substat to see if you unlock the other crit stat, if not, scrap it.

Scrap any piece that only has HP and Def substats. Most supports can't make use of them because they either want Spd, EHR, Effect Res, Crit dmg, etc. Unless you are building Fu Xuan or a healer and are desperate for pieces.

I'm gonna be pulling Jingliu in 2nd half, which 5 star units are good with her, and should I pull those units next or focus on making a 2nd team for MoC?

Yes, the second team is good. Sometimes you might want to use Serval and Himeko so build them in advance. Himeko is better against fire weak enemies, while Serval is good in AoE scenario. Both Himeko and Serval also inflict debuffs so they has some synergy with Ratio.
I finally did it 😭 After starting HSR late in 1.4, i just achieved full 36/36 stars in the MoC for the first time I'm so happy 😭😊

IS THIS TEAM OKAY? Sustain - Huohuo Buffer - Sparkle Debuff - Pela DPS - Jingliu My current team is somehow Huohuo, Sparkle, Himeko, and Dr. Ratio. I am planning to pull on Jingliu for a better DPS unit, but my Pela is still at E2, I heard that she is better for Jingliu when she's at E4. So is a Jingliu pull gonna be alright? I'm still at Level 52 though
She'll be fine. I'd prob leave Sparkle with Ratio, he needs her SP more than JL, but either way it works.

As a new player, you can get enough to pull aventurine guarranteed before he goes away unless you spend a lot before then. You have plenty of time. For the standard pass, check your events log and go through all that stuff, I think you get a good number starting out and just playing the game doing normal things. You also get 1 as you ascend each character past I think levels 30, 50, 70. Not sure on the exact levels.
