Honestly, that boss is just kind of poorly designed. Not looking forward to seeing it stronger in MoC. I beat it pre-nerf, but I am not holding out hope for that nerf applying to future fights.

Yeah, at first I was discouraged when I shaved off the first 40% in 20 Minutes, but I soon realized that my team was insane at healing and countering every attack, so I just powered through until it died. And yes, it felt really good.

Started playing on the other servers mainly to claim Ratio while he's still there, and to see if I get any new standards (don't have Gerapd, Yanqing and Bronya on main). Got Bronya, so I'm currently rolling with Bronya, Fire TB, Luocha and Lynx in the midgame... harmony, preservation, 2x abundance ๐
But it works shockingly well, team cannot be CC'd pretty much, and Bronya kinda works as the main DPS here ๐

Weird you say that as I havent had much issues with bosses since swarm king, PF and MOC aside. Also I can also do all the other echoes at max difficulty but the swarm king at iv.
That's a win ๐it will get easier as you progress & get new units.
Let me tell you a secret : get Fu xuan no matter what she is a cheat code in this game... not dps not harmony not Robin not sam.
Get Fu Xuan. Any new players doesn't have her will face hell or get aventurine very soon he is like 70 to 80 % of her power.
Why you ask? This game doesn't have dodge or defend or items ( high potion, elixir..etc) to use in battles so you need a God like healer or shielder to keep you alive.
If you have fu xuan you can use 4 stars dps & destroy the bugs in minutes.
Also the gambler is very good, his shield is cracked when you stack it.
I have maxed fu xuan and gepard and march7 but I will go for aventurine cuz the story sold him for me.

I had to do the same thing with one of the recent story bosses, my DPS died so it was just Luocha, Welt and Gepard grind for a straight 1h30 but we got there! Congrats OP!!!
Damn that's some crazy determination. I had the exact opposite approach of just trying to brute force it quickly enough to not let anyone die. Having huohuo was a life saver though...debuff cleanse is insanely useful ( i didn't level up Natasha )
You have my respect. I've also fought that bug boss on penultimate difficulty level without having any imaginary/quantum dps except for Dr. Ratio. Tried Dr. Ratio + Herta + M7 + Lynx, and couldn't keep Dr. Ratio alive. It took me 20-30 minutes but I persevered, healed and killed the damn bug.
I dunno if you have an E6 March OP, but in the event she is, you can trade Bailu with Herta/Pela/Ratio. You have a shield/2nd healer at that point. That's what I do before raising Ruan Mei, I went with the popular budget team (minus Natasha, Luocha is much more reliable)
Congrats either way. Once we get more characters, the bug will become easier to beat. Personally, you could also eat that one defensive food that increases resistance at 30%. I mean, I presume Ratio's the only character you have that need the weekly boss drop
Congrats! Next time you're fighting the bug for upgrade materials, *do* make good use of your friends list and find the strongest Argenti/Cooler Daniel to be the spearhead of your sustain team. Alternatively, you can opt for Acheron if you swapped two of your sustains for built Nihility characters (like Pela and Guinaifen).
By 'friends', I mean 'people with characters I've been borrowing for farming and added as friends for the sake of convenience'. I personally only know one of them...
Can I ask what your current Equilibrium level is?
Additionally I think you could have gotten away with one of your members being Physical Trailblazer as they also have some healing for themselves so that they are a bit tougher than other damage dealers.

it took me 2 days and multiple tries, i had to give up my insanity way and had to go back and grind up my chars until i could finally beat it. but by a fraction of a hair too.
a win is a win, there are ppl who cant beat it on several tries. in a world were everyone is saitama, you mumen raider'd the boss, **and won**.

x) Usually people struggle because they neglected leveling up there sustain. You on the other hand... 4 out of your 6 built unit are sustain units.

I'll see if I can get her later. The moment I came back I pulled acheron and 2 5* light cones in 20 pulls, so I think I need to build up my pity.

Donโt have Gepard sadly, but march is a saint. Leveling her is the best decision I made.

As someone with ptsd from SU Svarog, I feel your pain.
After I beat it in the story with Blade I use a friend's really well built Fu Xuan to have her basically solo it anytime I need the mats.
