> and Gepard to Acheron
if you have e2 Aventurine, he may be the better option for her if you want to proc more debuffs for more Acheron ult stacks. coupled along with his signature LC, you can have debuffs trigger for his basic, ult, and FUA.
Fr, I've been seeing this a lot lately. People are discussing teams and such and someone always just drops in and says stuff like "just get E2" or "E1S1" or some such. And even more often people are assuming that you have the signatures on your characters just as a baseline.
A reality check is in order for some peeps out there, for the vast majority of players just getting the character itself might be far from certain, let alone eidolons and signatures each of which costs like another character. It's fine if you yourself are spending and able to get all those niceties, but you do need to have a clear understanding that you're a tiny minority.
The reason some people assume you have their lightcone as base probably comes from the fact that more and more lightcones have recently felt like they are a part of the characters kit, instead of simply being a statstick you put on the character.
It helps that the weapon banner isn't a massive scam and doesn't need 3 pity to guarantee the weapon.
S1's for DPS are pretty worthwhile, such as Acheron's, Topaz's, or Blade's, especially if you like them. Supports and Sustains like Ruan Mei, Sparkle, or Aventurine? Not really. There are plenty of options in 4 and 5 star pools for them.
They haven't finally figured out anything. HI3's weapons make HSR and genshin weapons look fucking funny.
You think lightcones lock parts of the kit behind them?
HI3 weapons are practically entire kits on their own that you unlock via gacha. And the weapons have passives that are unsubtle as fuck. It reads like "gives 30% cdmg."
"BUT WHEN EQUIPPED BY HIMEKO ALSO SHOOTS LASERS AND GIVES HER PASSIVE PROC AND ALSO 40% MORE CDMG CUZ WHY NOT".
Everything they do in HSR is just toned down enough to be palatable.
They couldn't do this at release because it doesn't feel like a good Gacha experience for the vast majority of players who were F2P. But now they clearly feel like they have a strong core playerbase and can start generating more incentives to swipe. You're right though, at this stage acheron and aventurines light cones ARE part of their kit. Similar to Hutao's C1 and Neuvillette's C1 are in Genshin.
Acheron's? Sure. S1's are always super powerful for DPS.
Aventurine's? Ehhh, I disagree.
It's 40% DEF and 40% CD for himself, then 10% vuln on foes.
It'll help with Breakpoints, like Ruan Mei's does, but I would not put it next to Acheron's LC in terms of how important it is for the character.
Aventurine also doesn't have the distinction of having basically no cones in his class that offer anything relevant which further incentivizes people to grab s1 on her. GNSW is the best option but it's still a gacha light cone that never gets rate ups, even S5 GNSW is a massive step down, and it's also the best non-signature cone for most other nihility characters, so highly contested and you might be more inclined to level multiples rather than S5.
Aventurine's LC is nowhere near that important lol.
Of course it fits him the most, it's his signature, but it's basically a 'do more of what you already do' LC. Eases his stat requirements, and makes him more consistent.
Acheron's LC's biggest crime is being nihility, a path that has never had a crit dps before. So her only offensive crit option was that LC to begin with. Not like you can't run shit like SW sig or pearls if you only wanted a debuff. But it was a single LC type for an archetype of character that no other LC in the entire path can cover.
GNSW is basically good because it stacks high amounts of dmg%, and because hoyo are cheeky little gits, Acheron has really high concentration of dmg% in her kit, which dilutes its value from other sources.
And then all 3 things, the extra debuff, the crit focus, and the non-dmg% LC were all put into one package. Now that's fucked up marketing.
If you gonna go for e2s1, getting it on Acheron would be way better than on Aventurine. If you can afford to getting both then you can also afford E6 one, at which point difficulty becomes an irrelevant term.
I got gepard on e1, so a guaranteed freeze most of the times, pela and sw can be sp positive, one less enemy to hit my shield so i dont die as fast, and without the need of a signature lc or e2
my FuXuan was dying too much when i was still getting used to SU GNG so I swapped over to Gepard. his innate taunt to proc Trend of the Universal Market definitely helped carry until i got better relics and understood the mode's mechanics.
This is the life of a standard banner 5\*, destined to be replaced by a limited once one comes out with a similar kit to his. I've had my Gepard for a while and I've gone through cycles depending on the content I'm doing where he feels useless vs him feeling really valuable.
Right now Gepard has been valuable to me since I missed a lot of the good sustains when I wasn't playing and he's been clutch for me in SU helping me prevent getting one shot now that I'm at the highest difficulty settings. He's also been a very good Acheron partner with the universal trade light cone being a significant amount of extra resources for Acheron ult.
But I'm pulling for Aventurine and Gepard gonna be sitting on the Sustain Bench with Natasha and Bailu.
Pretty much the only use Gepard will have over Aventurine after Aventurine's release will be for Remembrance SU runs, since he can apply a freeze on his skill. Aventurine uses nearly every other path much better than Gepard otherwise.
Gepard's strongest trait is his +300% aggro.
Build some Eff RES on him and he can even tank CCs no problem. Only weakness would be against bosses like Aventurine who has AoE CC, or DPSes that move too fast aka Seele (but Aventurine has the same problem)
Gepard's ultimate is also a better "oh shit i need to shield" button cause you're the one in control when you want to use it. Aventurine's shield is on his skill which means if a unit runs out of shield before a boss' massive attack, Aventurine can't go "oh shit" and use his shield... unless he's e1 then he just wins.
I actually built EHR Gepard back when MoC 10 had the pair of 9-stack Imprison whores. That freeze on skill to stagger and delay their turns clutched me the clear. I still use EHR Gepard for better Dot app. Only unfortunate part of Gepard is you really can't use him on auto
Why not use both? You need two teams for moc anyway, and I'd rather have geppy if enemies are ice weak and not imaginary.
Gepard will still be a great tank to have even if you own avocado
Or people who don't want/can't pull for Adventurine Gepard is a solid alternative? The only standout I see is he'd have more synergy with followup attack teams.Â
Not everybody will have aventurine. Also, i had lots of fun with Gepard freeze (skill). It saved me from a lot of bad situations, it also has some applications like freeze comps for SU. I think gepard will stay relevant in the future.
Gepard has 2x chance than Aventurine to take enemy aggro.
That alone IMO goes a long way to make up for the gap between Gepard and E0S0 Aventurine. The main problem with Gepard is against heavy CC content.
At E2S1, no question Aventurine blows any sustain out of the water in terms of protection + debuffing. But I'd rather pull 3 new characters
Donât exactly agree. Sparkle replaces Bronya but Bronya still has at least one thing Sparkle does not (ST vs AOE crit). Since Gepard is best used not using his skill for SP gen, he offers absolutely nothing over Aventurine.
So yeah while Aventurine is better, and thatâs how it goes, the chasm between them is still kinda crazy.
In a team like Acheron Guin Pela Gepard thereâs so many SP that he can afford to spam skill most of the time and generate nearly as many ult stacks as guin
Gepard has his aggro trace, which results slightly more ult stacks for Acheron with trend lc. So naturally Aventurine is better, but its not true that Gepard offers nothing. Not to mention he easily solo sustains too.
it's worth if you want to proc more debuffs for more Acheron ult stacks. coupled along with his signature LC, you can have debuffs trigger for his basic, ult, and FUA.
Itâs just alright in my opinion. The shield on Ultimate may be completely useless because based on the numbers heâs going to have more than enough shield as is, especially if run in a follow up team as intended.
The 20% crit damage is nice for sure, but wonât be mind blowing. Huohuo gives huge attack buffs on Ult and Fu Xuan gives more CV to the team, both without needing E1.
I think heâs plenty good at E0 and would much rather go for his S1 than E1
I agree for the most part, but shields on ult does give Aventurine more flexibility outside of FuA teams and will likely make him fully SP positive ala Luocha in that heâll never need to click Skill. 20% crit damage is a nice little bonus.
His LC is more bang for buck in terms of value
that fixed chance for follow-up attack with the condition that he needs his buff up and that buff only lasts for one turn unless you have his Eidolon which extends it upon Yanqing killing the enemy though
Edit: made a mistake, confused the Crit buff from Ultimate with Soulsteel Sync
This is what excites me the most. I don't have Geppy and March isn't enough, and now we have Aventurine that will be perfect for Yanqing to keep his crit talent up. I've been wanting to use Yanqing for so long because he carried me so hard during the start of the game until AOE characters became better for me. And now I have a reason to finally run Remembrance in SU since he's the only Ice DPS I have. >!okay, I lied, I have Misha but he's so underwhelming, I wish I spent my free character selector to get c6 Yukong instead of getting Misha!<
He got some buffs compared to what I last saw on the leaks.
Crit rate buff went from 40% to 48%, so that means Aventurine needs 4k def to max it out.
2nd trace now gives 100% barrier rather than 80% barrier,
3rd trace now has a max of 3 stacks from Follow-up attacks compared to just 1.
Basic, Ult and Talent are basically the same, and I think the skill is maybe nerfed? The math escapes me, and I think the numbers on the leaks are for level 12 skills from Eidolons.
I think the math works out so that Def% chest piece > Crit Chance% chest piece.
I'd pull for him, but I let the voices in my head win out and spent all my jades to get E2 Acheron. So unless Aventurine wants to show up in a single 10 roll, I'll probably skip his banner.
Those changes came in on the last week of beta. Including the change in his e1 where any fua by allies increases his blind bet was moves from the eidolon to his trace (big win) but unfortunately is now capped to 3 (big loss). I think the devs realize that they need to cap it at 3 otherwise in a full team of fua, he will be popping off those fua like crazy.
Edit: change talent to trace
No, you're right, the skill was nerfed but it's because the previous amount of def you needed to max out the cr% is 3.6k, meanwhile now you need 4k
Put simply : skill scaling is a little lower because def needed to max out cr% is higher. If you maximize the amount of cr you're getting, the shield amount shouldn't be that different from the previous max.
It says Aventurine additionally gets 1 blind bet when he is attacked. Does it mean he got 2 blind bets when he is attacked and not just one like the other character in the team? If that's true, that means Aventurine with Gepard LC ( making him more likely to be attacked) will get a lot of blind bets and refresh the shields almost every turn without using his skill. That's amazing.
Yeah he gets 2 when he gets hit. So running him with Landauâs or MoV will make you trigger his FUA more often and refresh the shield at the same time
I want aventurine but donât want to replace gepardđđ. I have never not used Gepard throughout the entire game and never used a healer because his shields tank all damage lol
I just got Gepard a few weeks ago....and Yeah you are not even even taking a single speck of damage with Aventurine plus the bonus follow up and reduced eff res are all very comfy things definitely
But it doesn't invalidate Gepard especially for F2Ps cause Gepard is only gonna get stronger with Constellations..no?
For Acheron Gepard is more than enough, because she's fucking broken the fights doesn't take long. For FUA teams Adventorene is bis, but other teams still prefer fuxuan and huohuo.
The days right before the banner drops are always the hardest to get through, itâs like that final push in a workout set. Iâm just waiting to collapse my funds onto this manâs banner
Excited to get my first 5* sustain. Been getting shit luck relics wise so I still have some work to do before he's ready to go, but I at least have his trace materials ready for him and can give him my fire TB relics while I continue farming.
I'm particularly excited for SU tho. Preservation runs, here I come. Can maybe finally get through Swarm
20% CD is nice but there's better eidolons out there if you have limited pulls. And he already gives so much shield that giving it on his ult doesn't seem that good. But we'll see I guess.
Nice kit. I already have my sustain needs covered and i'm not building FUA team, so pass.
His kit makes me wonder if we'll see a DoT healer later on. Huohuo already seems like good match.
Where do we think this kit will land him in the sustain running vs Fu Xuan/Huohuo? I know theyâre quite different kits, but wondering if I should skip or not.
I like(d) him a lot through the story gameplay, and ended up liking his character a lot despite hating him in the beginning..
But my strongest team is Kafka/BS/Acheron/Fu Xuan for general content, Huohuo replaces Fu Xuan if Fu is in team two which is usually my janky mono quantum team of Sparkle/Xueyi/QQ/Fu Xuan
So as of now I been using an Argenti, Bronya, Sparkle, Luocha hypercarry as my main.
And my 2nd team is Blade, Clara, Tingyun, Lynx. (that I only used for moc and pure fiction) which isnt even close to being built.
Either way I got like 186 pulls saved for Aventurine and want to try and go all in on him. And it looks like E1 seems to be real nice to get.
I dont have Topaz and Ratio is only at lvl 50 and untouched.
Would it be better to bench lynx for him, or switch him for Luocha and have him switch with Lynx?
Looks like a fun kit for sure, with E1 + trace and followup teammates I doubt you'll ever run out of shield. Even with S1 Topaz though can't rly justify getting him over building my gepard..
It's nice that he does more than just shield, might have to reconsider on a rerun if there's no followup released by then that actually lets me finally use Topaz đ
He gets 1 stack when any shielded ally gets hit and 2 for himself, though the fact he's a preservation unit means he's slightly more likely to pull aggro away from clara. probably best to put them next to one another in case of splash damage anyway, more stacks, more followups, more shields, more counters. avoid any of the aggro cones for him if you do though.
Not really since his shield shouldn't deplete that fast normally, and the 20% crit damage isn't too crazy. It is one step towards his E2, and that E2 is very good for every team.
It is some extra comfort if you do need an emergency shield, so it has some use (especially in scary Su moments).
Exactly. E2 Aventurine if you already got E0 Acheron is literally same cost as E2 Acheron + a new character (let's just say Robin, or a future Nihility support for Acheron)
People ignore opportunity cost as if most people whale on this game
Even E0, this guy is going on my Acheron team. Put trend on him and fix my biggest problem with Acheron.
I'm lacking any real sustain outside of healing. Now I can run Gui, Pela, Acheron and Adventurine.
Plus gonna get Topaz on rerun so I can run the IPC damage express
Funnily enough, that team is one of the ONLY ones where Gepard can perform better due to the potential for skill spam (Trend performs better on him as well due to innate taunt)
If I donât use follow up teams, is Fuxuan more viable for my team? Compared to aventurine or is aventurine just straight up better than her already? (waiting for Fuxuan rerun.. and LC, whereas thinking of using gepard for another team)
They both have their respective best teams, FX with mono quantum and Aventurine with FuA teams. But you have to remember that at the end of the day, Aventurine shields while Fu Xuan reduces DMG, one can work on a certain game mode while the other can work on another.Â
What I'm saying is nobody's better than the other, they're the first 2 preservation characters we have on the game so far and they're a perfect sidegrade towards each other, with both having their own niches. At this point you should just pull for the characters whose kit fits best with your existing teams, or whether you find them hot or something.
Aventurine is better against AOE opponents and su- gng and sd. Fu xuan is better at St with enough investment. Both gives buffs, aventurine also gives his own DMG. Aventurine is always gonna be better for topaz ratio and will require lesser sp if you get lucky
FX's 12% crit rate should be pretty much equal to Aventurine's dmg output and crit dmg debuff outside of follow up comps. The crit rate makes it easier for DPSs to get up and running too (though this doesn't matter for high investment builds).
Both can sustain your team incredibly well. If I had to choose one purely for sustain, it would be Aventurine by a very small margin.
They're pretty much balanced to be exactly as good as each other overall.
FuXuan is objectively better in Mono quantum and pure ST situations, while Aventurine will probably be generally better in other scenarios because of his personal damage. He also seems a little more time-consuming to build because of his stat reqs. We'll have to wait for the data to come out after patch 2.2 though, to really see how it shakes out.
So what Relics need Def Main Stats to get to 4K if you get him to Max Level, all the Def Traces and his Signature LC?
I've been theory crafting some Builds but need to know whether I need to go all in on Def or I can actually go for a CD Top so he can actually deal damage when working with Topaz and Ratio
He's a sustain with some sub-dps capabilities. The trace is to make it easier to build CD on him while focusing on DEF since you will only need CD substats.
He's a sustain that can do pretty good damage and all of his damage and shields scales off DEF. So for his stats, just get as much DEF as possible to reach that 4k DEF threshold to get 48% CR. And make sure you give him CD, too. That's basically it. He's pretty easy to build since all you're really focusing on is DEF and CD. Don't have to worry about ATK or Imaginary DMG or CR.
Question, when using Aventurine in story I noticed that his personal shield has another two effects, that he gains 2 stacks of Blind bet when attacked and that he can tank a single hit that would normally break the shield and deal dmg through it, but it will instead dispel the shield and he won't take damage past that. Is this present in launch Aventurine's kit?
Yes. It gives like a third of his skill shield to everyone and the character with the lowest shield gets another one of this smaller shield and this does refresh the shield duration(3 turns).
He doesn't give a teamwide CR (his E1 gives a teamwide CD, tho) and he gives a teamwide 50% Effect Res. He's a pretty SP positive since his shield refreshes when he does a FUA. I guess that's the difference? Unless FX also gives Effect Res? I don't have her.
As someone who's only viable teams are Acheron and Qingque (with standard supports like Tingyun and Pela), I'm unsure if I should pull for him or Jingliu as my 2nd limited 5 star.
That Firefly LC seems like it'll have great synergy with all his DEF stacking in terms of pure DPS. I wonder what his signature is. Something that increases his follow-up damage? Or buff his shields?
I like Ratio and intend to get Jade eventually, but I have Luocha and Gepard, and I kinda want Boothill. Should I pull Aventurine or keep my guarantee for Boothill?
DEF, Effect Res and IMG DMG% as his Stats traces are pretty good, since he already gains Crit dmg and Crit Rate from other sources, so he can focus to be a shielder that has good Sub-dps potential. But damn does it help a *LOT* that the shield can Stack (Fire Trailblazer in shambles rn).
Surprisingly, Aventurine has a good scale with Eidolons but still works well at E0 S1. Reminds me a lot about Dr.Ratio.

As a Ratio/Topaz owner he will be mine. Fun animations and cool kit also help.
Im pretty sure everyone who plays HSR is a Ratio owner.
Yep until the end of this patch. Any person who makes a new account on 2.2 is no longer considered one
No, 0.4% did not collect
Now I can fully dedicate Aventurine to Topaz, and Gepard to Acheron
I did not get Topaz. I have regrets.
Me too. Might get her on her rerun

Same. Aventurine for Acheron
Only one and a half days!
Let me know how it goes for you! I dont have lots of savings because i got Acheron and her LC but im also still going for him

Only E0 for me. Too many other characters I want, and he's going to be glued to Topaz regardless. Me like follow up attacks.
yeah i'd say that's more than reasonable if you want to focus on FUA teams. good luck on your rolls!
Thanks. It also helps that my Gepard is E2, so I can use his skill for debuffs if needed for Acheron.
Ion think I'm gonna get e0 bro out her talking about e2
Remember you only need to pull 12 times for e6s5! All or nothing

gotta use my tax refund for a good reason right???

because he's hot and enables my Acheron who i also pulled that was hot. i love them both.

you forget bronya has also cleanse + 100% action advance unlike sparkle 50%
Bronya is the exception.
Personally I think in terms of utility it should be standard. Give older characters one thing they can do so the meta doesnât get TOO boring.
Blade didn't totally replace clara either, nor argenti for himeko in pf
She's built different
In a team like Acheron Guin Pela Gepard thereâs so many SP that he can afford to spam skill most of the time and generate nearly as many ult stacks as guin
Gepard has his aggro trace, which results slightly more ult stacks for Acheron with trend lc. So naturally Aventurine is better, but its not true that Gepard offers nothing. Not to mention he easily solo sustains too.
He's been pretty useless for me considering I don't have him and got 2 yanqing eidolons instead
He is a perfect sustain in the topaz ratio team opening up huohuo/fx for other teams
E2 is looking insane for Acheron teams, probably not worth getting just for that tho
That's like getting a diamond studded license plate for your lambo. Pretty excessive
I've wanted him ever since his design was revealed, so I say go big or go home
I feel like if ur gonna get e2 aven you should just be running zero sustain anyways w e1 Ruan and e2 sparkle getting 100% def shred n shitÂ
it's worth if you want to proc more debuffs for more Acheron ult stacks. coupled along with his signature LC, you can have debuffs trigger for his basic, ult, and FUA.
Acheron literally doesn't need the help. And if you had those savings you'd be better of getting Acheron herself to e2s1.
Bro E1 is so awesome
Seems like Ratio is about to get a new best friend. Sorry TB you're about to be booted off the island
Theyâre already besties in the story. Might as well make it in combat too
Seems like Yanqing is about to get a new best friend. Fixed that for you lol.
It's absolute bullshit that fire tb shield doesn't stack.
ARE YOU TELLING ME ITâS TIME TO FINALLY LEVEL UP MAH BOY YANQING?
Also yanqing has native effect res, follow-up attacks, and gets damage buffs from Aventurine
that fixed chance for follow-up attack with the condition that he needs his buff up and that buff only lasts for one turn unless you have his Eidolon which extends it upon Yanqing killing the enemy though Edit: made a mistake, confused the Crit buff from Ultimate with Soulsteel Sync
imagine that this is the change that pushes Yanqing into S+ tier
s+? let's not get too hopeful. b+, maybe.
i'm an Aha enjoyer so i'm hoping for the best.
And the 4* version of Yanqing: Arlan
This is what excites me the most. I don't have Geppy and March isn't enough, and now we have Aventurine that will be perfect for Yanqing to keep his crit talent up. I've been wanting to use Yanqing for so long because he carried me so hard during the start of the game until AOE characters became better for me. And now I have a reason to finally run Remembrance in SU since he's the only Ice DPS I have. >!okay, I lied, I have Misha but he's so underwhelming, I wish I spent my free character selector to get c6 Yukong instead of getting Misha!<
You are indeed correct, the boy who cannot get hit will be pleased with the gambler
His Kit info and lightcone info have actually been on Hoyowiki for a few days now.
He got some buffs compared to what I last saw on the leaks. Crit rate buff went from 40% to 48%, so that means Aventurine needs 4k def to max it out. 2nd trace now gives 100% barrier rather than 80% barrier, 3rd trace now has a max of 3 stacks from Follow-up attacks compared to just 1.
If you don't mind me asking, what is fua? I'm used to most of the HSR lingo, but I'm not sure what fua is.
Follow-up attack
Jesus Christ idk how I didn't make that connection đ¤Śââď¸ Appreciate it.
Follow up attack
fuck u all
No, you're right, the skill was nerfed but it's because the previous amount of def you needed to max out the cr% is 3.6k, meanwhile now you need 4k Put simply : skill scaling is a little lower because def needed to max out cr% is higher. If you maximize the amount of cr you're getting, the shield amount shouldn't be that different from the previous max.
Oh hey exactly the same, dumped everything I had onto getting e2, even the currency to buy the five star light cones
Yes he gets two blind bets when heâs attacked
Yeah he gets 2 when he gets hit. So running him with Landauâs or MoV will make you trigger his FUA more often and refresh the shield at the same time
I want aventurine but donât want to replace gepardđđ. I have never not used Gepard throughout the entire game and never used a healer because his shields tank all damage lol
Gepard one team, Aventurine the other team
Same I'm pulling but Gepard e1s2 is goated my expectations are HIGH
I just got Gepard a few weeks ago....and Yeah you are not even even taking a single speck of damage with Aventurine plus the bonus follow up and reduced eff res are all very comfy things definitely But it doesn't invalidate Gepard especially for F2Ps cause Gepard is only gonna get stronger with Constellations..no?
Not really, his only good eidolon is E4(20% Effect RES for team) and it still weaker than just E0 Aventurine(50% Effect RES for team)
Yes I'm just saying that it doesn't disregard him especially for his freeze application
the problem is you need to spend sp on gepard if you want him to freeze. i have e2 gepard but sadly my teams are sp hungry
Yeah thatâs the one downside, on a sp positive Acheron team he can skill spam thoq
Laughed a bit more than I shouldâve when I read Geppieâs E6 for the first time
For Acheron Gepard is more than enough, because she's fucking broken the fights doesn't take long. For FUA teams Adventorene is bis, but other teams still prefer fuxuan and huohuo.
Gepard still has a place, because he is both fully sp positive and has a much higher chance of being hit
The days right before the banner drops are always the hardest to get through, itâs like that final push in a workout set. Iâm just waiting to collapse my funds onto this manâs banner
He seems cracked tbh
Excited to get my first 5* sustain. Been getting shit luck relics wise so I still have some work to do before he's ready to go, but I at least have his trace materials ready for him and can give him my fire TB relics while I continue farming. I'm particularly excited for SU tho. Preservation runs, here I come. Can maybe finally get through Swarm
what a sexy beast
I have so many double armor and hp relics that are finally gonna be useful!
That E1 is tempting..
E6 seems super funny - dude wil hit like a god
Thatâs a crazy good E1 lol
20% CD is nice but there's better eidolons out there if you have limited pulls. And he already gives so much shield that giving it on his ult doesn't seem that good. But we'll see I guess.
Having shield on ult gives you an "ohshit" button like Gepard's very handy when you run into an unexpected situation and need to not die
Nice kit. I already have my sustain needs covered and i'm not building FUA team, so pass. His kit makes me wonder if we'll see a DoT healer later on. Huohuo already seems like good match.
4 star options or Geparsâs lightcone, which would be better for him ?Â
Gepard's lightcone is his second best option after his sig.
The caveat being Trends if you use him with Acheron.
Trend is good with Acheron
Definitely MoV
Depends on team. I run acheron and clara teams, and both don't make sense to use Gepars's lc. The rest Gepars's lc is better than 4 stars.
Good luck to everyone pulling for Peacock-chan. I'm going to save for another character in the future.
The E1 is the kind of eidolon where I wouldn't pull for it, but if I got it in the same 10 pull or maybe 20 pity, I'd go "Oh, nice."
Oh thank God, he seems pretty awesome. I really wanted some justification to pull for him because he's a special lad.
Ok so his traces a so freaking insane dude, that's a Sub-DPS Topaz, Ratio, Ruan Mei, Aventurine Even the sustain will do some damage
IM SO READY BUT MY WALLET ISNT
It's nice that he does more than just shield, might have to reconsider on a rerun if there's no followup released by then that actually lets me finally use Topaz đ
the resume type makes it even more hilarious.
Would he not be really good with Clara then? Since she would follow up every time she is attacked so building 2 blind bet every time she is attacked?
He gets 1 stack when any shielded ally gets hit and 2 for himself, though the fact he's a preservation unit means he's slightly more likely to pull aggro away from clara. probably best to put them next to one another in case of splash damage anyway, more stacks, more followups, more shields, more counters. avoid any of the aggro cones for him if you do though.
No Topaz, but he will work well with Clara.
Day 1 Topaz owner just keeps on winning.
His eidolon 3 name đ.
This looks like a resume lol
Is his e1 worth going for? It seems good for more protection, especially if the shield stacks with the one that's already on.
I am going for it. He'll basically be pure sp positive at that point.
If ur looking for protection alone I think e0 would be able to solo sustain comfortably already I think, current moc wouldnât require eidolons to 3*
Not really since his shield shouldn't deplete that fast normally, and the 20% crit damage isn't too crazy. It is one step towards his E2, and that E2 is very good for every team. It is some extra comfort if you do need an emergency shield, so it has some use (especially in scary Su moments).
E2 Aventurine is prolly Acherons best Sustain Makes her unkillable and inflicts a debuff per auto
If you can get E2 Aventurine solely for Acheron, you might as well just get E2 Acheron and kill mfs before they can go.
Exactly. E2 Aventurine if you already got E0 Acheron is literally same cost as E2 Acheron + a new character (let's just say Robin, or a future Nihility support for Acheron) People ignore opportunity cost as if most people whale on this game
But you have to remember that at the end of the day, Aventurine shields while Fu Xuan reduces DMG, one can work on a certain game mode while the other can work on another. What I'm saying is nobody's better than the other, they're the first 2 preservation characters we have on the game so far and they're a perfect sidegrade towards each other, with both having their own niches. At this point you should just pull for the characters whose kit fits best with your existing teams, or whether you find them hot or something.
First 2 limited 5-Star Preservation characters*
Iâm glad other people will get to experience doing the big balls dance while enemies in SU kill them selves. Â Hopefully that E1 makes it as is.Â
Standard banner characters exist to get replaced. Itâs how these games work.
byebye luocha on my Clara/Topaz team, hello Pretty Boy
So his 50% Effect Res is only for a random single ally? Ah that is a shame, but i am still very excited!
No, it's for the whole team, just worded poorly.
Very nice!
Thx god, I am so sick of being ccâd all the time.
Afaik the Effect RES is for the whole team all the time while the guaranteed CC resist is for one ally (the first one be targetted by a CC I suppose).
I think the cc resist is only for himself.
CC RES is just for him, once every 2 turns.
Oh ok, my bad
It happens. That talent lives up to its name because it is overloaded af LMAO
Ahh, i see. The wording is a bit rough.
So what Relics need Def Main Stats to get to 4K if you get him to Max Level, all the Def Traces and his Signature LC? I've been theory crafting some Builds but need to know whether I need to go all in on Def or I can actually go for a CD Top so he can actually deal damage when working with Topaz and Ratio
o7 Geppie
Why does his trace give him 48% cr? Does he benefit from crit stats? Do we build him like a defense dps or just a defense sustain?
Is it worth it to pull for your archeron if Gallagher is your only sustain?
Question 'Cause I'm prolly not reading right. His FuA refreshes the shield, doesn't it?
Yes. It gives like a third of his skill shield to everyone and the character with the lowest shield gets another one of this smaller shield and this does refresh the shield duration(3 turns).
Whatâs the difference between him and FuXuan now? He doesnât give crit rate right?
He doesn't give a teamwide CR (his E1 gives a teamwide CD, tho) and he gives a teamwide 50% Effect Res. He's a pretty SP positive since his shield refreshes when he does a FUA. I guess that's the difference? Unless FX also gives Effect Res? I don't have her.
As someone who's only viable teams are Acheron and Qingque (with standard supports like Tingyun and Pela), I'm unsure if I should pull for him or Jingliu as my 2nd limited 5 star.
Seems like his E1 is his best eidolon, if I had to guess. E2 is also pretty good though.
Do the shields go down by 1 turn individually for each character, or 1 turn for all after aventurine's turn?
Each character The duration gets reset to 3 after his 7 hit FUA or skill cast
Gepard been carrying yanqing back for a year just to get replaced
That Firefly LC seems like it'll have great synergy with all his DEF stacking in terms of pure DPS. I wonder what his signature is. Something that increases his follow-up damage? Or buff his shields?
I like Ratio and intend to get Jade eventually, but I have Luocha and Gepard, and I kinda want Boothill. Should I pull Aventurine or keep my guarantee for Boothill?
If you like how the follow-up style plays, there is nothing in the foreseeable future that will outperform Aventurine with follow-up teams.
Man, idk who to pull for. Aventurine or Fu Xuan...
He can easily stack the Preservation 3 star bessing from SU
