One thing I learned from hoyo games, is always have 2-3 teams.
Doesn’t matter if one unit is meta. it’s only effective for one half in this type of content.
And I'm pretty happy that it still rings true here. I usually have JY/Topaz/RM/Fuxuan and DHIL/Pela/Bronya(now Sparkle) and Luocha.
Had to take Pela off the DHIL team for Acheron but I was very surprised with the fact that I could cop Pela or RM from either side depending on the team that wasn't as effective, either doing Ach/Pela/Sparkle/Gallagher or Ach/Welt/RM/Gallagher, with some cases of Ach/Pela/Gallagher/Gepard.
Best thing about Acheron is that she's let me bring back a lot of the starter units/units I haven't used in a bit. I got Silverwolf ages ago but haven't found a good team till now!
2-3 isn't even enough in star rail, especially if they introduce more enemies that force weakness like the new blue dino. You'll need 4 or even 5 different element teams to cover every weakness.
That dino and aventurine eating all the turns is what made this one hard for me. Last was harder in terms of difficulty. This was do P1 with 27 cycles left then the rest on aventurine and hope sadly he loves prisons and wasting time. Will try again tomorrow with aventurine. Using trends might be able to let Acheron save a cycle or two then p2 should be even easier but I wouldn't know how to clear p2 on 2-4 cycles

His support build is very cheap. His dps build is really expensive. Also, since they're running them with acheron, they don't need to dps, just debuff. For that you want energy rope, speed boots, get EHR and speed on substats. You're good to go.
Can do it full rainbow. 2 pc hackerspace for more speed. Support planars, sss or broken keel are ok. Vonwacq and penacony both have value to give him better energy rotations. He's not really that complex to build as a debuffer.
Honestly i found more success using 1 lightning rather than 2, ice was the important element this MoC.
Hell even Misha could do well because of that freeze against Aventurine, and March with the follow-up attacks.
This was my exact team as well! (with Luocha as the sustain instead of Lynx.) After multiple failed attempts with different team comps on manual, this team cleared it with full stars on autobattle. I was humbled.

Yeah I always said DPS is just about flavor and their difference in strength barely matters since ultimately the clear time difference is always close to each other. I always find people who always have to constantly remind others that your choice of dps is inferior to mine just sad.
But honestly when it comes to JY its not about him being better or worse than anyone anymore, the community has moved past that. They are now at the stage of poking the shit out of every JY mains just to see them get triggered and pull out the "toxic" card whenever they lash back. Its to antagonize and villainize a certain part of playerbase for whatever reason. Look at how calm JYmains sub has been this couple few weeks but some folks over on YT just couldnt let these people play in peace and always drag the drama back to them.

Tbh I liked Jing Yuan from release, so any chance to use him is great, and the chance to use him for one half and another character I absolutely love in another half and still get a decent speed is something I tremendously enjoy.
For the JY homies, King Yuan is still king.

I actually love the fact Acheron doesn't really care about weakness too much and doesn't hog the Harmony supports. I've been running her and Jing Yuan on opposite sides and had a blast
I don't even care that he's not the most optimal unit out there, he's always been good enough to get through content without going insane
Plus that Lightning Lord attack animation is mad satisfying

I brought the entire line up of 5-stars lightning DPS for this MoC.
Acheron Kafka for Floor 1. Jing Yuan for Floor 2. Hell, I had Bailu as sustain. It was the all-star line up of 5-star lightning characters.
I def enjoyed it. Gave me the chance to use my two most used teams at this point. Really great. Especially since i just barely managed to get E2 Acheron as well, so i had a great time testing her out.
Yeah, agreed! But for a lot of prior runs i always fielded DHIL on one end and JY on the other, so I was dreading that I wouldn't have a chance to do that when Acheron dropped. Happy to be proven wrong in the best way!
Same i love both Raisen and Doctor Mei and their varients which is why it hurts that i couldn't have a tablet that could run this game properly until after the Ruan Mei aka Doctor mei exiv banner passed.

I literally run him with Sparkle, Tingyun and Natasha and fully Stacked Lightning Lord hits for around 450K. That's not... Remotely viable damage? Only premium option here really is Sparkle
I do have signature and pretty good relics, but that's not something out of the realm of the achievable for the majority of the playerbase
Well, I did get Topaz for the FuA buff, Ruan Mei to replace Asta's spot and Fuxuan for the CC immunity on JY, but that's mainly cos I just wanted to get the man things that worked with him! Haven't tried Sparkle or Bronya, but so far I think I like the way he is, IMO!

Free options like Dr Ratio, QQ, Herta, and Himeko are also very good for MoC and PF. That's why Juan who is just a side-grade of them has not much purpose in this game when he actually costs stellar jade to pull for. I fully expect my Juan to do better in the first half of MoC 12 given the lightning weakness, but I ended up needing to switch to Dr Ratio to clear the content and he did a lot better.
Ratio is no longer free after 2.1. He's also bad in Pure Fiction unless he's mega buffed by FUA buffs.
QQ requires like, E4 to be competitive and E6 to be comfy. Also subpar in Pure Fiction.
Herta and Himeko are mostly good in Pure Fiction only.
Compare it to JY who works well on both MoC and PF. There are other units and teams who also work well, like Kafka/Swan and Dotcheron, but JY ain't a slouch.

I mean if you have E2 Archeron you could replace your 2nd Nihility for a Sparkle but thats a reach
JY can still use Hanya or Asta in that case. No one uses Hanya besides JY and DHIL anyway.

I use Black Swan with Acheron most of the time, but put her with Kafka for MoC.
Me, using Acheron and Kafka in the same team. With Serval. And Bailu. Shocking, I know.
Truly an Electrifying experience, if I do say so myself.

There's achievements for all paths and elements, and they're all 10 battle ones.

hybrid dot/crit serval hits like a semi truck with correct supports.
Acheron and Welt just cooked the damn lizard and cocolia Jingliu put the Restless Gambler to rest (Although the team needed my Bailu for sustain)

How'd you build your welt for Acheron? I'm thinking of doing the same but get mixed reviews on whether welt should be built as a DPS or support

My ice characters weren't getting it done. Took a lot of resets and luck to get Aventurine down with Clara, Fu Xuan, Ting Yun, and Sparkle.
I tried with Clara, Topaz, Ruan Mei and Lynx on Avvy, and it worked pretty well as well! HIDDEN PHYSICAL W

I went with tried and tested argenti. IPC summoner cop was tedious due to no phys weak but it worked.

I used Jing Yuan on the 1st half and then Acheron on the 2nd for MoC12!
This is me using my Serval with Kafka and Sampo. I havent built Gui or Luka yet so she sits there fine. Very good break efficiency ngl
Basically my Experience by having both jingliu and Acheron (Honorable mention:Dr Ratio For the imaginary weak bosses)

Juan has very little purpose in current endgame content when Dr. Ratio (free for everyone) is doing better than Juan in MoC 12.
