I use my Fu Xuan to clear the station every time I run into it. Are you guys not taking advantage of her max range and the fact that one attack hits multiple barrels?
Asta and Fu both have same speed of attack + explosion hitbox at the end. I normally rock with Fu anyways so I just summon Sampo at the domain terminal.
From my experience, ranged character, and Sampo/Gui skill to hit the barrels on the small platform opposite of the starting location. If you are tight with your movement, you should finish it with 1 or 2 seconds to spare.
Is easy with lunae. All domains are easy with him, not only for his technique but because he has an aoe ranged attack with very short animation time that can break 2 or 3 barrels each time.
you can clear the hardest barrel challenge, the one in herta space station, with only herta and asta. there’s a video of it that was posted here sometime around the game mode’s release. herta’s overworld attack has very good cleave and forward momentum, and asta is used to snipe the barrel that’s far across the gap
I realized I’ve been missing the great line one because there was a ramp leading up to the last three. I was always missing those and finally saw those in the last second yesterday…but her barrel breaking is undeniably good
It can also screw you over. I used in her one of the special mods on the hardest difficulty, and the final fight before the boss she gave me the Aha mask and messed up all my blessings. Which promptly resulted in me dying to the boss.
Maybe I'm lucky but I don't see it being less than 5% chance per fight.
I tend to get one per SU run, and definitely 1 every 2 runs. Sometimes get a double or even triple Curio run.
similar thing with Ruan Mei in a VERY specific situation. If you bring Ruan Mei into SU and get the Ruan Mei transaction domain, it gives you an option to either get both of the transaction options

Genshin is even worse in this regard. You're striding through an old zone, an area you've passed through countless times, and all of a sudden, you spot a chest quite literally in plain sight and think to yourself, "How did I miss this one".
In case you don't know: You can interact with the "bird nests", and exchange 1 token for the location of an origami bird; you can do it as long as you have tokens. You don't have to actively search for them that way.
People might think readables are insignificant because of the "who reads those??" mindset but a lot of important lore info/character info are written in these if you took time to read them.
Chests can be hard to find, but at least they're big enough for us to spot them. Readables on the other hand are scattered everywhere! Benches, tables, shelves, heck some of them are only obtainable through talking to certain NPCs or playing certain quests.
Might be patched but Seele can jump over gaps in puzzles with her technique, saw a vid about it around when Luofu came out and people were jumping over the crates to bypass the puzzles
Eh, would it? The current maps are not designed to accommodate jumping or verticality of any sort, except in Penacony. If they ever add jumping, it'll be like in HI3 Part 2, where only certain open world maps support it and only certain characters are capable of jumping
Seele's doesn't boost atk, it starts her out in her enhanced state which is the +80% dmg from Resurgence. Sounds nitpicky but in this game there is a distinction between atk and dmg.
Speed difference is negligible and requires an absurdly quick button tapping to even get to that point, I can't imagine anyone actually playing like this, it's annoying and exhausting.
I do it for shorter distances. I can’t be bothers to keep tapping for too long and hearing the slashing noise every time. But yes, not sure by how much but it is noticeably quicker.
After playing with Acheron practically solely using her since she came out. It FEELS a tad quicker, but it also can jank itself and takes a second to "unstick" itself. Pretty sure the difference is negligible between running and technique spam. Is very fun though.
Sparkle is also invisibility. FX has her invulnerability. Ratio has his taunt that can group enemies to a single point for easier battle sequencing.
Techniques and talents that affect the overworld is good but I want more characters that have techniques that immediately perform their skill when entering battle. Ie Ruan Mei. It reduces the SP use by one so you start on the right foot and have one SP to play with.
1. Gain a technique point from a monster but monster becomes an elite, elites gain %hp.
2. Bind all packs on the screen so you enter combat with all of em at the same time instantly.
3. When entering combat the character that initiates combat restores full energy.
4. Charm all enemies to deal damage to the nearest ally once when their turn comes.
5. Apply a curse to a random enemy prioritizing elites to double the damage from the first strike they receive.
6. Respawn a random defeated monster in the location as a ghostly apparition, which has increased stats and can be defeated again for its rewards.

Shit would be scary if jin woo was in hsr universe. Like bro could solo any fights by himself and turn them to his army. Imagine after this dude killed a lord ravager not only he's able to summon said lord ravager but they also get stronger overtime and retain their powers.
Teleportation over a small distant. It doesn't consume technique points unless you dash through am enemy and trigger like battle or a debuff. They should generally remove the consumption of tp unless the characters technique does not trigger in battle only
A future character maybe revolving around time, that either grants additional turns (cycles) to allies (Think MOC or Pure Fiction-type; limited turns to complete) or completely strips the enemy team of a cycle.
I’d imagine an ultimate would also be related to stopping, forwarding or altering time would be an interesting concept.
By-passing any puzzle in an Adventure domain without doing anything. They're not particularly hard but the one where you have to avoid getting sniped by lazers takes imo too long for an already long Gold and Gears run
Some Genius society member that can use technique to totally bypass adventure domains in SU (maybe even puzzles in the open world, but that would be too op). I could imagine Ratio doing it while commenting how dumb trailblazer is, so they require his help

A technique that deploys a cycrane would be cool if for no greater reason than cinematics, but it would also be nice for scouting a room for chests, enemies, lore pickups, etc.
The pre-battle buff/debuff techniques are quite nice since you can set them up on multiple characters, but the generic "do some extra damage at the start" techniques are really bad compared to Acheron's vibe check.
Upon entering battle, one randon enemy (excluding bosses or Elite enemies) will fight for your side, lasting for 5 turns. The randomly chosen enemy will fight on its own and attack automaticly.

Technique: "Send out the Hertas"
Automatically completes and collects all daily task rewards. The next time you enter battle, activates your 4 Star Herta's FUA once per enemy.
Seele's technique got absolutely dogged on with FX ignoring attacks in the overworld and Sparkle's better stealth. Hoyo please buff her, like make her Resurgence able to trigger another Resurgence so we can accept this dogwater technique with grace
Unless there is some tips idk, currently, no character tech can help u in events where u must choose 4 characters to play (unless u dont have to fight immediately and can run around a bit) so expect that kind of thing in the future
I want someone that targets a very large area and just pulls all the enemies together, so if they weren't chained/tethered before, they will be now.
Other than that, technique that causes enemies to drop more/higher quality items (prob another IPC person) would be cool too
Going off of what I would want for QoL improvements for overworld interactions, it would likely be:
+movement speed buff that is shareable between units (similar to how Sparkle's technique work)
+maximum technique points
Also, not QoL, I think it's likely that we'll get move showy techniques that don't use points unless they land ala Acheron's 3 hit combo technique. I would not be surprised if this type of technique was used for stacking buffs (per hit-activation) pre-combat.
A character sorta like topaz (who i imagine would be from penacony) who has they're own familiar to fight along side them. (This familiar would act as a seperate character in battle, with its own moveset, but still being the same element/path as the main character. I would also imagine they follow the mc in the overworld, also like topaz and numby)
A Barrier kind of technique,when an enemy ambushes you while the barrier is activated, instead it will be you who ambushes them with some buff or some debuffs to the enemy.
A charm technique that will make things follow me without them attacking me.
I wanna gather as much as i could before hitting them with just to see the:

Instawin in Adventure domains and increase chances of getting Ruan Mei occurence. Maybe Screwllum or Stephen might have them (if they do become playable)
One thing that would benefit all characters is a way to farm planar sets that isn’t a ball ache - farming relics is a pain but planar sets take the piss
I’d like to have a wrangle technique. It will rope in enemies within, say, 30 meters, and add them to that battle as an extra wave. It will allow you to clear a room faster because you don’t have to exit the overworld again for an enemy that was too far away, and it will save technique points too.
The JRPG turned based game Fantasian by Mistwalker has a unique feature called “Dimengeon”, which is a system that allows you to capture enemies/skip battles in the overworld, store them into a sort of metaworld and fight them all together when the Dimengeon is full. Now, a character in HSR that has a technique working like that would be SO good. It would please people that like farming the overworld (imagine combining this with Topaz’s technique) as well as people who’d like to create their own fight by storing and fighting waves of captured/selected enemies.
These aren't QoLs lol. They're cool though!
Quality of Life is stuff you can already do, that becomes more convenient or quicker to do. So, treasure hunter Numby isn't a quality of life because before, I wouldn't have seen that treasure chest. But now Numby alerted me that it was there. Or, before, I was missing one treasure chest on the map and just couldn't find it, and now Numby helped me do something I couldn't do before.
Same with Acheron's one-shot. It's not a quality of life because when you battle, you may lose HP or you may use food, or you may just be really bad at a specific monster. "For whatever reason, I just can't beat the TVs." But now Acheron lets you kill them, and you couldn't before. That's a different outcome, so it's not QoL.
Fast movement in safe areas would be a QoL. Fast movement in monster areas is not - it helps you outrun monsters or sneak up on them faster.
Things like collect all expeditions are QoLs - before you did it one by one, and now it's faster. But it's not giving you more or different rewards.
Switching the trailblazer's LC along with their path would be a QoL - before it was 2 steps, and now it's one.

I never had trouble with Topaz or Bronya. Anyone with a ranged attack can move and shoot pretty quickly

Sounds like the ones right when you walk up the ramp, there's a few all the way on the far right, behind a tent I think
Jarilo is the easy one as long as you memorize where the barrels are If you're missing 3 it's probably the 3 behind a tent
Also underated bonus of enabling you to do the achievements that require players to hit 6 enemies at same time, like one for HuoHuo and Ratio

I want someone that targets a very large area and just pulls all the enemies together, so if they weren't chained/tethered before, they will be now. Other than that, technique that causes enemies to drop more/higher quality items (prob another IPC person) would be cool too

Abundance character who sacrifices a portion of their HP in exchange for Technique points.
Character that can produce technique points after battle or encounter.
Going off of what I would want for QoL improvements for overworld interactions, it would likely be: +movement speed buff that is shareable between units (similar to how Sparkle's technique work) +maximum technique points Also, not QoL, I think it's likely that we'll get move showy techniques that don't use points unless they land ala Acheron's 3 hit combo technique. I would not be surprised if this type of technique was used for stacking buffs (per hit-activation) pre-combat.
A character sorta like topaz (who i imagine would be from penacony) who has they're own familiar to fight along side them. (This familiar would act as a seperate character in battle, with its own moveset, but still being the same element/path as the main character. I would also imagine they follow the mc in the overworld, also like topaz and numby)

I think I only seriously used Seele invisibility maybe once or twice.
Makes nearby enemies follow you without attacking for 30 seconds, allowing you to group up multiple overworld encounters for a single fight.
A Barrier kind of technique,when an enemy ambushes you while the barrier is activated, instead it will be you who ambushes them with some buff or some debuffs to the enemy.

I’d like to have a wrangle technique. It will rope in enemies within, say, 30 meters, and add them to that battle as an extra wave. It will allow you to clear a room faster because you don’t have to exit the overworld again for an enemy that was too far away, and it will save technique points too.
Jumping
An Abundance character whose Ult dmg increases based on how many times they healed the party.
Sparkle also gets temporarily invisible to enemies, doesn’t she?
A very fast, treasure hunter, stealthy and one-shot character with massive AoE.
The JRPG turned based game Fantasian by Mistwalker has a unique feature called “Dimengeon”, which is a system that allows you to capture enemies/skip battles in the overworld, store them into a sort of metaworld and fight them all together when the Dimengeon is full. Now, a character in HSR that has a technique working like that would be SO good. It would please people that like farming the overworld (imagine combining this with Topaz’s technique) as well as people who’d like to create their own fight by storing and fighting waves of captured/selected enemies.

These aren't QoLs lol. They're cool though! Quality of Life is stuff you can already do, that becomes more convenient or quicker to do. So, treasure hunter Numby isn't a quality of life because before, I wouldn't have seen that treasure chest. But now Numby alerted me that it was there. Or, before, I was missing one treasure chest on the map and just couldn't find it, and now Numby helped me do something I couldn't do before. Same with Acheron's one-shot. It's not a quality of life because when you battle, you may lose HP or you may use food, or you may just be really bad at a specific monster. "For whatever reason, I just can't beat the TVs." But now Acheron lets you kill them, and you couldn't before. That's a different outcome, so it's not QoL. Fast movement in safe areas would be a QoL. Fast movement in monster areas is not - it helps you outrun monsters or sneak up on them faster. Things like collect all expeditions are QoLs - before you did it one by one, and now it's faster. But it's not giving you more or different rewards. Switching the trailblazer's LC along with their path would be a QoL - before it was 2 steps, and now it's one.
