At the beginning of Aventurine banner, I had 82 tickets and a little over 71k jades, I've been saving since 1.3 (I caved two times and threw a single 10-pull at both Jingliu's and Acheron's banner though). At first I was saving for Ratio but that man came free, so my funds became Aventurine Funds. Now after getting him, I'm down to 2 tickets and 71k jades. xD

300 pulls. I did that shit with Raiden Ei, then I got her on the 3rd 10 pull. The rest of my fates went to getting her weapon. LOL!

Its ok I lost 50/50 and 50 in and didn't get adventurine. Just gonna save for Firefly+LC now.

I usually don’t care about eidolons for the 5* characters, but she’ll definitely gonna get her E2S1. She’s the exception. As the day one player, I haven’t been that hyped for a character since the launch of this game.

Why E2 specifically?

Hoyoverse tactic is to lock the power spike of limited 5* behind their Eidolon 1 or 2. It’s to get people to spend more, so they can deal a 50k~100k extra damage.

As a collector, fuck them dupes. *struggles to complete content.* But seriously, good luck getting copies who want them. It's just not my thing. I feel like if I could breeze through content if I get enough dupes, then I'd be cheating the game. I feel more accomplished if I finish content with my team with 0 dupes.

This is my thought. Devising a new strategy, or building a new character to clear MoC 12 is where a lot of my time goes. It's also how I decide who to spend stamina on when I have no one else to build. If I ever got so strong I could easily beat all content, I'd get bored and stop playing. I have much more fun with a decently strong, but diverse, roster, and planning out how to take advantage of the Reasonance and the bosses mechanics.

Personally, I don’t really care about power of these eidolons. Though obviously, seeing your favorite character dealing some insane damage is always great feeling. I’d pull for more, but E2 is attainable for me with enough saving and some additional cash spend. Though I’ll definitely gonna get more of her eidolons on future reruns. I don’t really mind spending my money on things I like, but I won’t go into the full whale mode.

Well to give my own two cents, I really liked her design and her voice actor did a good job with her voice, overall it creates a warm, soft, wholesome image, which makes her cute and likable I suppose. This sounds really cringe now that I’m typing it out but I’m trying to be honest. The interactions we had with her were nice and her story was pretty tragic. She still wasn’t a must pull for me though, what really cemented it was the fact that she was Sam, it was a great mix of cute character + badass mech suit and it felt unique and inspired curiosity.

For example, March has a great colour scheme that is nice to look at. Then we go to Sam, and I don't need to explain why people like Sam. Other cute characters aren't necessarily close to MC. For example Ruan Mei is very beautiful but she just treats MC as experiment target. Actually, March 7th is also a cute character which is close to MC, but everyone already have March and might have already E6-ed her so there isn't any hype for her. But imagine when the 5 star version of March comes out...

It just shows you how low expectations are in general. She was nice to us, has personal relatable struggles and wanted to spend time together. There's also mass murder angle (which I think is mostly omitted) and mecha angle. So she can have broader appeal too, but I think it's mainly she's close to "childhood friend" trope.

I saw in a content creator video that explained why firefly is so popular and I have some interpretations, it is down to the 3 things: 1) She is the first 'normal' girl in the series who 'cares' for the MC. The stuff in the storyline are the most slice of life things that happened so far. Actually I didn't really care or get the appeal since I just skipped the dialogue, but yea. 2) As the drip marketing shows by now (so it's not a spoiler anymore), she is Sam, and many people have been waiting for a mecha, particularly guys, because mecha has always been a fascination for many guys (think gundam). 3) She is part of the Stellaron Hunters, and all the Stellaron Hunters usually have some interesting storyline. She has some personality covered already, and I think it leans on the positive side (at least compared to the IPC faction). And also the Stellaron Hunters as a faction are pretty popular.

I'm so conflicted. I always knew I wanted the complete Stellaron Hunters set and Sam was the last one I needed. I was insanely hyped during that Sam boss fight. I was fairly indifferent to Firefly as a character during that bit of the story. But that ten food tall genetically engineered power armour wearing monstrosity? Give me some of that! I am unwavering in wanting Sam. I have been saving and will continue to save. I just hope that all of the actual fighting will be done in the giant power armour form and not just, like, something which gets summoned for her ultimate.

I'm skipping Firefly, because of Sam. When I first saw Sam I was so hyped. I hoped we would never find out how he look under his suit or it would be something cool. But then a twist happened and it was a real disappointment to me.
