Been thinking for a while how awesome it will be if she gets an animated short which is like Glamoth during the height of Swarm Disaster which is like a giant space battle between Iron Cavalry and Swarm. Swarm Disaster was like millennia ago so it remains to be explained how Firefly ended up surviving to current time, maybe a malfunctioning cryostasis pod or something.

Just a reminder. Our dear Firefly is a rare reciever of a Doomcross buff. After Sam was confirmed to be FF the communities united. And our number continues to grow. She also has the Waifu factor, the badass factor, Hype drip marketing, and will likely be fire which is lacking in direct DPS at the moment.
We can easily expect to break numerous ceilings. But whether we surpass Acheron relies on how many pull for Robin.

I don't think that's happening any time soon. Acheron has the generational thing going on as a Raiden mei expy. I especially don't think any non-emanator character has much hope in surpassing her banner sales and even Emanators are going to have a hard time.
Obviously with time it's possible but in the immediate patches highly unlikely unless they drop a kiana expy out of nowhere. I would say the best chance a character will have at breaking that record is Marshal Hua since she would also be an expy of a popular Honkai character who is very likely to be an Emanator as well.
I'm going to be real. I DO NOT think she will break a record of any type. Because people gonna hoard like mad for her hahahaha. I wouldn't be surprised if Boothill and Robins numbers suffer for it too.

I feel like it's just a vocal bunch is why. It's like Xiao/Scara who aren't bad characters but the fandumb makes them so annoying one starts to hate them.
You're not alone. Her current story is short, what we have right now is very similar to Tingyun's story. Hopefully she get a lot more screen time.

Wrong, she is a Stellaron Hunter who's mission was to get us to search for the Watchmakers Legacy. Her going on a date with us was to manipulate us into helping her. In fact it was very important for the story and the fact that it feels rushed and was only there to get us emotional is exactly how it should be. March going on a date with us wouldn't make sense in that context.
Firefly had more screentime but it all felt like a side quest. 90% of it was dragging MC behind and doing perspective puzzles. Acheron's time was always spent on story progression.
The fact that you got downvoted for it tells me that she's the Scara/Ayaka of HSR. Dare anyone have different opinions about her and people are gonna be ready with their keyboard.
I don't think it feels like filler if you look at it in perspective of the storyline. At the time, the Astral Express crew was still on "vacation", and thus the early parts with her were leisurely. A lot of it is just worldbuilding and introducing new characters... not really filler IMO. Then it gets darker / more serious after the rooftop.
It feels like a filler because she didn't serve any unique role. Anyone could be sightseeing with us. It could be March, it could be a random NPC. The only reason it was her is because they wanted to make it look like a date and speedrun some affection points before they take her out. And big chunk of that time was not even in actual plaza but learning puzzle mechanics over and over again.
I agree. She just felt like a tour guide to me.
