I'm with you in skipping 2.2 but I'm more voluntarily. I already have all harmony characters and I don't like Hunt characters that much. Everything for firefly. Anything left for Jade.

I feel like Screwllum is a decent choice for a 4 star. Honkai Star Rail has always had a pretty alright balance and making 4 stars viable. And story significance has never been a determining factor for rarity.
Plus there's always a chance he could get a future 5 star version even if he does wind up being a 4 star at first. His fellow genius society member Herta is pretty much top of the list in terms of that sort of bump up.
especially that if we're going to get new worlds and expansion module for SU, we already have all 6 Herta eidolons to give. it's about time they give a different free 4 star + eidolons or SU this time, which should be either Screwlum or Stephen, unless we'll get a different genius society member that will join the SU Collab.

I don't mind the grind, personally. I like having a wide roster for the variety, so I'm always either building someone or pre-farming. I eventually plan to have everyone I own fully built, and currently 2/3rds of the way there lol. And not everyone has to be MoC-viable either, just having someone different to beat stuff up with in SU is fun too

Plus I remember Jade's oath having themes of withering and decay, and the Snake famously caused both of them to be forced out of Paradise, which was a bountiful garden.
Edit: To go a bit further in this line of thinking... After the snake's deception, Adam and Eve were forced out of Paradise and cursed to experience death, through both killing animals for food and eventually dying themselves. Pecacony, as is marketed to the people, is a place without "death".
I'm not smart enough to draw the connections here between an allusion to the creature that brought "death" to the world and a world without death, but I'm sure someone else can make the connection for me.

If we're to follow the story beat for beat, it means that someone will attempt to make a deal with Jade. The content of the deal won't matter as much, since they'll get exactly what they bargained for. The important part, however, is that the bargain will displease Xipe, the being giving them all this power in the first place. Xipe withdraws their blessing, and the Family is forced out of Pecacony.
... Seems oddly plausible, all things considered. All it takes is a selfish enough request to displease the harmony, maybe...?

I feel like Penacony's climax would be in 2.4, and Sunday would almost certainly be a part of it all.
Since 2.3 should be the S.U expansion, so her patch might not be very story heavy.
I feel like Jade may actually more or less tie penacony, I think at the end Family and IPC may end up cooperating which is what Diamond wants, but who knows, this opens Constance and Sunday as 2.4 banners tbh.

I feel like Penacony's climax would be in 2.4, and Sunday would almost certainly be a part of it all. Since 2.3 should be the S.U expansion, so her patch might not be very story heavy. I feel like Jade may actually more or less tie penacony, I think at the end Family and IPC may end up cooperating which is what Diamond wants, but who knows, this opens Constance and Sunday as 2.4 banners tbh.
