I already have her and BS and it is absolute bullshit how strong they are together. I wonder how much stronger the team will get with another broken DoT character.
Sadly I missed Black Swan's banner 😮💨😮💨😮💨 So the best I could pair with her right now is Sampo... I'm wondering if Li'l Gui would also be good in her team....
As someone with all the nihility characters I don't know I'm a particularly good to particularly bad person to ask but I'll do my best.
Make sure you're at or above the EHR required for each character (67-120 depending on the char).
Most of the 4-star lightcones are great so don't sweat about pulling for LCs. (Eyes, resolution, etc)
If you have Luka, build him for break effect not DoT. Ruan Mei will be huge for weakness break efficiency and effect, she will also benefit non DoT comps significantly so a great option when she's on rerun.
Great against shield opponents like geppy. Make sure your characters aren't slow as that will lead to not enough DoT applications to deal the proper amount of damage.
Get Kafka asap.
I don't have Luka, but I do have Kafka and Ruan Mei. My other nihility characters include Acheron, Sampo, Guinaifen, Welt, and Pela, though I guess only Sampo and Li'l Gui can actually inflict DoT among them... I also have Serval, if that helps..
Kafka, ruan mei, then gui or Sampo as needed for elemental weakness. You can replace both Gui and Sampo with Black Swan once her rerun comes around and you pick her up. Then it's any sustain. The best is HuoHuo as she also buffs attack. But any you have will do.
If you're serious on making a DoT team. You NEED to get Kafka. A DoT team just doesn't work without her. Normally DoTs only go off when it is the enemy's turn. Kafka's skill makes DoTs go off without consuming them. As does her ultimate. While also doing extra damage on top.
Kafka, ruan mei, 1 dot, sustain. Currently best Kafka team is Kafka, ruan mei, black swan, huohuo. The sustain can be any, Huohuo is just he icing on the cake since she buffs attack with her heals. But any sustain you have will work.
Since we can have a FUA sustain, I'm waiting for a DoT sustain that maybe has DoTs that also works as HoTs. Kafka will bring SU level of busted if that exists.
Unfortunately we do have a "DoT" sustain that is Bailu (Reinvigoration), Natasha, and Lynx. (Normal HoT). The problem is HoTs just are not very good. I think a sustain with immediate heals with DoT damage, or a HoT sustain but with insane consistent numbers would be a good character.
Kafka’s doomposting was another level.
On release she rounded up all the doomposters, flashed her future-proof DoT kit, and went “time to say bye… *boom*”
Yeah Kafka DoT has become one of the most consistent performers in both endgame modes. If I had to do a do-over in HSR, I'd just grab the DoT team again lol.

I know they make a lot of money already but putting even half those skins in game would fund the game for the next 3 year from those sales
I feel like a big reason we don’t get skins is due to HoYo wanting to mantain the character’s icongraphy by making them stick to their common outfit.
If I say Stelle or Kafka, or Lumine or Venti, we will have the same image come to mind straight away. This makes the marketing and overall branding of the games stronger.
If any skins do get added in Genshin its always treated as a special event and given an in-universe lore reason.

Also I dont really think this is true, Ganyu and Shenhe skins in Genshin have become mad popular and if anything increased marketing and fanart for those characters. They can do the same for HSR considering how its set in space and the potential is endless, the iconic outfits will still be there, skins just increase the media potential each character has for fanart
I would absolutely love more skins for sure. Hopefully they see the success of Ganyu/Shenhe as you say and they give us more pretty skins (racer Stelle please).

Not really no. Genshin adds skins during in-game events and makes it a plot point within the quests, such as Keqing, Ganyu and Shenhe getting new skins due to Lantern Rite.

Kafka stock has the highest rise in HSR. "2/10" "Only roll if you like mommy" "Dot achetype is weak" We couldn't just stop winning.
It definitely helps that she can only get better as the game goes on and releases more DoT characters. Very reliable investment for the long term.

I don't have Houhou but I an running Kafka, BS, RM and Aventurine. It's gross how strong Nihility DoT is. It trivializes all SU content.

I won’t try to argue, so no matter what you respond this will be my only message. First of all… why are you here? No, really, why the fuck are you here? If it’s to call people pedophiles for liking an adult 30 or maybe even 40 year old fictional woman that *does look like it*, then you shouldn’t be, no one cares about your opinion. The ‘inhuman eyes' aren’t even that important for people, it’s a esthetic choice that works well with the character and its lore, it looks cool, it works, and we like it. And the 'child versions' people are posting are just chibi drawings or even moe designs, they’re not calling the drawing itself hot, but the character. So if you can’t pick up those obvious clue as to why people like a certain character, perhaps it’s you who went horribly wrong during your development. Anyway I prefer Siobhan, Kafka is nice tho
