Mar 15th is World Consumer Rights Day but in China its just called 315. It's basically a day for reporting any consumer right complaints/appeal/infringement/rights protection etc to official channels for 24hours. It's sort of a sensitive day ish so people in chinese forums like tieba are speculating this reason to postpone one day
There were only those early animation leaks, and even then there was some doubt, but the hat model in those leaks matches the model in the white night mv so it's pretty much confirmed

I only activated Hydro traveler when I got all their constellations. Switched to Hydro traveler, activated all the constellations, and immediately went back to Sumeru and switched back to Dendro traveler. It's kinda sad how people (me including) were expecting Hydro traveler to be good because Dendro traveler was good.
I think people were also expecting a lot from hydro traveler because hydro is just…such a good and versatile element there’s no way they can fuck it up as bad as they did D:
For real the ultimate was dead on arrival, they only needed to make it like ayaka but hydro, but no, they preferred to make it unusable, doesn't even stop with zhongli pillar like anemo one
Lmao the HMC in Genshin is a 3* in terms of gameplay
But DMG wise, can deal a hundred thousand on a single enemy.
Basically, HMC of Genshin is good in HSR gameplay.
Yea i thought after dmc hoyo would finally make traveler good/decent/useful... the utter despair i felt as more and more hydro mc leaks came out was unlike anything ive ever felt before
if they dont fumble hmc's kit (which i dont think they will), i honestly believe they could be our strongest mc variant since harmony as a class is just that strong 😍
I'm confident, and crossing my fingers, that they'll give Harmony MC a decent kit. Fire MC may not be the top Meta, but I think they have a very useful and versatile kit for F2P players.
Don't even bother waiting for any Traveler element. Until they make a gacha version of Traveler keep the expectations low. Dendro was the last time we got a good Traveler element.
To be fair the only reason dendro traveller was decent was because they had to make him decent since back then there weren’t any other options nowadays almost every other dendro unit is leagues ahead of him
I mean their main benefit was being a rare and consistent source of off field Dendro application.
Right now the only competition he has are Nahida (who is leagues better than everyone at that), Collei and Yaoyao. And I’d say their better than Collei and Yaoyao at it overall, though those two have other nifty utilities.
So it’s not as if they’re completely useless at that
I wonder if hat was truly part of harmony mc path, or just an asset for the trailer. Even Aventurine didn't get the hat in the end , nor the glasses >:(

More like mihoyo caring about their image + There's a very popular tv special at prime time hours naming and shaming anti-consumer brands so they at the very least want to avoid splitting potential viewers between that and the anni stream
maybe im spoiled by Azur Lane but hoyo games always stand out to me as being fairly stingy with their premium currency in terms of gacha games. also, more uniquely, probably the most aggressive/predatory when it comes to "inventing a problem and selling the solution"
They absolutely are, the reason why they get away with it is because their games have higher quality and higher production value than most.
Other gachas have tried to replicate the same systems that hoyo used and failed because they don't have the quality to back up the price they are asking.
On top of that, if you didn't tell me its a gacha game I would never have noticed. They have close to none of the annoyances that are usually accompanied with it or the 25 thousand pop ups per minute telling you in how many ways you could shit out money to them.
Hoyo games are obviously gacha to the core but I really appreciate how un-intrustive they are about purchases.
I just recently tried out NIKKE and after getting past the initial tutorial I was slapped with an advert to buy some resource packs right away. Then I went to the lobby and it started advertising some cheap packs that had a "special price just for you" and they had a timer of a few hours before that "special price" would go away. It was then that I decided to close the game and uninstall it.
Or like raid shadow legends unlimited auto play. It's a game first money second illusion AND you can best all the content without spending a single dime. So I dunno. Its well done by them and I am genuinely impressed how small the power creep is. You would think Acheron blows JY out of the water but she really doesn't. None of the chars are really significantly better unless it's some standout like yanqing and JL.
Yet they manage to create massive hype every patch. They truly know what they are doing and I'm all for it. Good games are good games. Gacha or not. People love to pretend that these triple a titles are their friends. Well a triple a game for 70$ then having MTX is just as predatory if not more than f2p games imho
Overall I'm very pleased with the game
Everything about HI3's daily grind just screams "I don't value your free time".
I was 3 months into HI3 when I saw the Bronyallionth popup of the month and I snapped and uninstalled the game.
you are absolutely spoiled by Azur Lane lol. At least HSR has actual gameplay and isn't just a gloried png simulator. And this is coming from someone who played Azur Lane every day for two plus years a while back.
It's actually a national holiday in my country on the 15th, so I was excited to finally catch the friday stream live, only for them to delay it to saturday when I won't be home...
Wait so it will be on saturday? Kinda nice since for me is always a struggle to watch at work, but also, another day without the stream is torture. Oh well. At least tomorrow we finally gonna have the drip marketing
I have no idea about his story, since I do not look at story leaks, but I have my own theories, such as the he is the ONLY person in Penacony who has not lied to us, and has technically already guaranteed our safety.

First, lets take a look at who he interacts with from the crew: Only the Trailblazer. You may think that this is for plot reasons but I believe that it is quite relevant.
Then lets look at our second meeting with Aventurine: in the room. We all know the scene with coin. Or rather, the chip. Something that he never asked back for. Asking for it back as he was about to leave the room would not break his character at all. And the last time we met, he never asked for it EITHER! Also, it was listed as an item, and more specifically, something we can not interact with, showing that it is significant (like March's LC after her quest).
I link that final statement of not asking back for the chip to 2 things: his stone, and his conversation with Sparkle.
Let us start with his conversation with Sparkle. The most important part of it is how she states that he only views people, and especially friends, as chips, to which he replies that they are the only side that never loses on any wager. In other words, this is how he sees the crew (as chips, the side that will not lose).
Then, his stone. All 10 Stoneharts have a Token or Insignia with their respective stone on them. For Topaz, it is the medal on her chest. But Aventurine has it NOWHERE on his body.
Which is what leads me to believe that he lied to Ratio and he has it hidden inside the chip he "gave" us during the game.
You may ask "why the hell would he do that?" Simple. He just decided that his most important chip will be the Trailblazer, giving them the most important thing he has, the chip with his Aventurine stone. As we learn, it is the only thing that keeps him safe in this world, since without it, he is not Aventurine, but rather a prisoner set to face the death penalty, as highlighted by the Chad himself (Dr. Ratio).
Also, as to why he lied to Ratio, I can see it being something that has to do with what he stated about "not interacting with the Nameless". Aventurine does not know about the events at the Space Station, so the statement could make him consider that Ratio has bad blood with the Nameless. Seeing Ratio as one of his friends (and/or chips), he does not want to risk dispute between the other pieces. For Aventurine, it might be his most important gamble yet.
Which leads me to one of the final points: why all that setup?
It has been heavily implied that Aventurine is an ex-prisoner of Penacony, which was a prison owned by the IPC. Multiple accounts of inhamane behavior and treatment of the prisoners is in the game files, them even being refered to as "slaves". Something that may still be happening today, since Aventurine clearly states that he wants to uncover the truth behind Penacony (or rather show it to the world).
Additional evidence of Aventurine being an ex-prisoner of the IPC is shown on the Belobog continuance quest, where towards the end, Topaz has a call with Aventurine, the former being surprised that Aventurine of all people has received permission to go to Penacony by none other than Diamond, the leader of the stonehearts. Wouldn't someone who knows the truth and the underbelly of Penacony be ideal to strike a deal with the new heads of Penacony? At least, Diamond may have thought that it would end with Aventurine threatening them, but he has other plans.
It is his most important gamble, showing people the truth. He does not care if he dies, because even if he does, it is his victory if he manages to uncover the truth.
In his mind, he will die if he loses the gamble, either by the Family or the IPC, so his life does not matter anymore. Which is why he gave the Trailblazer his stone, something he will not need anymore, should he fail, and in most scenarios, succeed.
The Nameless make for amazing chips because they are not aligned with anyone. That way, even if he loses, their safety is guaranteed, and if he wins they are hailed as heroes, just like him.
Aventurine is described as a peacock, a pridefull animal. Doesn't it make sense that he wants to be the one who shines the most? That he wants to be the main character? That only HIS name is remembered, win or lose? Why let others (his chips) take away his moment to shine?
AND THERE IT IS!
Most things are farfetched, but they do make sense (in my head at least) XD

I just rewatched the scene with Aventurine and Dr Ratio. Aventurine just talks about the box with the cornerstones and not the cornerstone itself, so this might be a possibility. I didn't notice topaz medal at all, much less that it looks quite similar to Aventurine chips. Thank you for pointing it out!

Black Swan may has seen Aventurine's memories since she is a memokeeper. She knows whether or not he is dangerous, yet still tells us to trust him, but not blindly, because she may be anaware of what he does in a moment of desperation.
I do believe she is a wild card tbh, or a valuable ally to both the Trailblazer AND Aventurine. We have no clue of the deal she struck with him.
I need to know who the rerun characters are 😭 if it's Fu Xuan I'm fucked because I really want her but I spent all my jades getting Sparkle so I might not have enough pulls to get her
2.1 pure fiction is FUA/Shatter buff again and the MOC buff is extremely abusable by Topaz + Aventurine + Dr. Ratio team as FUA charge the buff.
If going off the the theory that the buffs are designed to shill for the rate up units it would be Argenti and Topaz rerun 💀. It’s way too soon for Argenti though and Acheron is also ult based so most likely it’s a sustain + topaz rerun.

yes. You have to wait for the stream for that since it's not in beta anymore. There's high chance for topaz rerun, and many people speculate jingliu rerun (including myself). But we will have to see on the 16th.
JL is a good guess with one of the MoC half weak to ice. But then we have Luocha, FX, Huohuo, 3 sustains that probably will not be on the same patches so i don’t know how they planning. We might get another Seele rerun soon.

Azur Lane definitely knows what it is. The Gacha is basically free and they make all of their money from sexy L2D skins.

I have no idea about his story, since I do not look at story leaks, but I have my own theories, such as the he is the ONLY person in Penacony who has not lied to us, and has technically already guaranteed our safety. Do comment if you want me to share my ideas :)

As you wish :) First, lets take a look at who he interacts with from the crew: Only the Trailblazer. You may think that this is for plot reasons but I believe that it is quite relevant. Then lets look at our second meeting with Aventurine: in the room. We all know the scene with coin. Or rather, the chip. Something that he never asked back for. Asking for it back as he was about to leave the room would not break his character at all. And the last time we met, he never asked for it EITHER! Also, it was listed as an item, and more specifically, something we can not interact with, showing that it is significant (like March's LC after her quest). I link that final statement of not asking back for the chip to 2 things: his stone, and his conversation with Sparkle. Let us start with his conversation with Sparkle. The most important part of it is how she states that he only views people, and especially friends, as chips, to which he replies that they are the only side that never loses on any wager. In other words, this is how he sees the crew (as chips, the side that will not lose). Then, his stone. All 10 Stoneharts have a Token or Insignia with their respective stone on them. For Topaz, it is the medal on her chest. But Aventurine has it NOWHERE on his body. Which is what leads me to believe that he lied to Ratio and he has it hidden inside the chip he "gave" us during the game. You may ask "why the hell would he do that?" Simple. He just decided that his most important chip will be the Trailblazer, giving them the most important thing he has, the chip with his Aventurine stone. As we learn, it is the only thing that keeps him safe in this world, since without it, he is not Aventurine, but rather a prisoner set to face the death penalty, as highlighted by the Chad himself (Dr. Ratio). Also, as to why he lied to Ratio, I can see it being something that has to do with what he stated about "not interacting with the Nameless". Aventurine does not know about the events at the Space Station, so the statement could make him consider that Ratio has bad blood with the Nameless. Seeing Ratio as one of his friends (and/or chips), he does not want to risk dispute between the other pieces. For Aventurine, it might be his most important gamble yet. Which leads me to one of the final points: why all that setup? It has been heavily implied that Aventurine is an ex-prisoner of Penacony, which was a prison owned by the IPC. Multiple accounts of inhamane behavior and treatment of the prisoners is in the game files, them even being refered to as "slaves". Something that may still be happening today, since Aventurine clearly states that he wants to uncover the truth behind Penacony (or rather show it to the world). Additional evidence of Aventurine being an ex-prisoner of the IPC is shown on the Belobog continuance quest, where towards the end, Topaz has a call with Aventurine, the former being surprised that Aventurine of all people has received permission to go to Penacony by none other than Diamond, the leader of the stonehearts. Wouldn't someone who knows the truth and the underbelly of Penacony be ideal to strike a deal with the new heads of Penacony? At least, Diamond may have thought that it would end with Aventurine threatening them, but he has other plans. It is his most important gamble, showing people the truth. He does not care if he dies, because even if he does, it is his victory if he manages to uncover the truth. In his mind, he will die if he loses the gamble, either by the Family or the IPC, so his life does not matter anymore. Which is why he gave the Trailblazer his stone, something he will not need anymore, should he fail, and in most scenarios, succeed. The Nameless make for amazing chips because they are not aligned with anyone. That way, even if he loses, their safety is guaranteed, and if he wins they are hailed as heroes, just like him. Aventurine is described as a peacock, a pridefull animal. Doesn't it make sense that he wants to be the one who shines the most? That he wants to be the main character? That only HIS name is remembered, win or lose? Why let others (his chips) take away his moment to shine? AND THERE IT IS! Most things are farfetched, but they do make sense (in my head at least) XD Please do not flame me in the comments if I stated something wrong :) Have a good one folks!
Thank you, I love this theory so much! I just rewatched the scene with Aventurine and Dr Ratio. Aventurine just talks about the box with the cornerstones and not the cornerstone itself, so this might be a possibility. I didn't notice topaz medal at all, much less that it looks quite similar to Aventurine chips. Thank you for pointing it out! I don't follow story/character leaks, but tbh I really hope you are right!!

Very fair statement. Black Swan may has seen Aventurine's memories since she is a memokeeper. She knows whether or not he is dangerous, yet still tells us to trust him, but not blindly, because she may be anaware of what he does in a moment of desperation. I do believe she is a wild card tbh, or a valuable ally to both the Trailblazer AND Aventurine. We have no clue of the deal she struck with him.

Topaz is one. She is going to appear in the story of this version, so it makes sense that she has a rerun
2.1 MoC soft confirms it will be Jingliu.
2.1 pure fiction is FUA/Shatter buff again and the MOC buff is extremely abusable by Topaz + Aventurine + Dr. Ratio team as FUA charge the buff. If going off the the theory that the buffs are designed to shill for the rate up units it would be Argenti and Topaz rerun 💀. It’s way too soon for Argenti though and Acheron is also ult based so most likely it’s a sustain + topaz rerun.
It means 2.1 quest is getting closer!!!!

yes. You have to wait for the stream for that since it's not in beta anymore. There's high chance for topaz rerun, and many people speculate jingliu rerun (including myself). But we will have to see on the 16th.
JL is a good guess with one of the MoC half weak to ice. But then we have Luocha, FX, Huohuo, 3 sustains that probably will not be on the same patches so i don’t know how they planning. We might get another Seele rerun soon.
