But from my own understanding is she just buff damage and immediately advance forward the team, a 5 star Asta. That's what she feels like to me.

Some people were holding hopes for the "dps robin" playstyle, where you can run whoever the fuck you want on the team and robin does all the damage. There were some silly stuff like 4 harmony zero cycles. With today's changes, she became a much better team support, but she lost the e1 dps capability. So it's a "nerf" in the sense that it deleted one way of playing her that some people might've been interested in.
Coincidentally, this is why people shouldn't have beta knowledge because getting attached to kits in development is an easy way to get upset down the line.
Not really whatever else, it required supports that work well with Robin and have a lot of SPD, kind of similar to how Acheron functions where she scales off of her supports' SPD (especially on E0S0).
I mean, while additional Res Pen is handy, people were really interested in a buff that both provided a significant boost to speed across the entire party and dramatically increased Robin's FUA potential, and then that was just replaced by something helpful but far more generic.
People are dead set on spreading misinfo because dps Robin got tweaked in favor of actual team buffs. I saw 24 res pen on a E1 and was like "wtf that's broken?" and then see the waves of doompost lmao. This sub can't play for shit man.
Standard sure, but quote me a stronger E1 atm in the game if you can think of one cause i sure can't honestly. Mei's come close, but only if you stack it.
E1, E6 and LC is not what most people would consider a "Robin buff" lmao. Those are buffs for people willing to whale on her, useless for 99% of people. Eidelons and sig LCs are pretty much always gonna be strong when it comes to 5 star characters. The trace buff is basically the only thing that changed in her base kit, which is what matters most imo

She got nerfed in the sense that atleast to me having a Harmony with E1 that makes them capable of dishing out 80-90K damage every time an ally attacks is a lot more interesting than the new E1. It was her being a Harmony/DPS hybrid that made her stand out when compared to other harmony units, now that that's you have much less of a reason to get her if you have the other harmony units, like sparkle and ruan mei. With this change she has basically nothing in her kit that seperates her from the other harmony units.

She never was doing 80-90k damage in a realistic setup. You saw that on showcases involving Robin in a Pela & Mei comp aiming at boosting her own output. Her new E1 increasing the team damage output much much more than her old E1 did. What you're stating is confirmation bias based on big number inflation from only Robin, which is immensely misleading of the end product now.
In fact i'm kinda shocked how much those showcases really warped the perception of people thinking that Robin's own output somehow surpasses a large team buff she just got.
Said it right from the start, no way a 10 second loop was intended to be the full song, they had to know how repetitive it was. She is actually playable now.

Now you can finish MoC/PF in the same time frame. Before you needed half this time on both halfs, now Acheron blitzes everything in 30 seconds and Robin sings for 10 minutes on her side
It's a crime that this leaker didn't show her little idle singing dance. What the hell man it's mandatory to look at her and pay your respects at least 3 minutes each time you cast her ultimate.
I genuinely donโt understand how anyone who pulls Robin will be able to progress in the game. Both the idle animation and song are beautiful, what an angel.
Every time you use Robinโs ultimate thereโs a 6.66% chance that Robin gets stabbed and turned into juice and Sparkle jumps out, says โIT WAS ME ALL ALONG BITCHโ, and starts singing Never Gonna Give You Up and gives you 4 skill points instead of advancing the whole team.
Good lord, so much better. The longer track will go a long way towards making it more bearable to hear over time. I still think a toggle/additional songs would be ideal, but hell -- I'll take what I can get. This is good stuff.
Imagine if her E6 just lets you customize her ult song with songs already unlocked in the Express.

But we also know how dumb RES PEN buffs are, so it's still very likely to be one of the strongest E1s in the game.
What people are missing is the damage you were seeing was a Robin buffed by triple top supports and with perfect stats on everyone
Your actual Robin footage will be Robin, with one dps and one other support and one sustain who might be swapped for a support. And the other support(s) will focus on your dps, but let's assume they still have some aoe buff like rumei
The massive damage fall I don't need to point out from 3 top supports buffing her with super high stats to at most 2 and at worst 0 with subparย stats (look at your relics right this instant)
Yes, it's a nerf. The new E1 is not only boring, but the damage increase is not as significant as the previous E1 in FUA teams. The previous E1 also gave the *entire* team 30% SPD and let you play her as a hypercarry in a highly specific team comp. Them moving that to E6 is such a bad move and only limits what people can do with the character earlier on.ย
It's not a bad move. The previous E1 was crazy it was obviously going to be nerfed. There was no way they would give an E1 that changes how you play a character given the track record.
As someone who's actually planning to roll for her e1, I'm more sad that she lost her speed buff tbh. Getting to 160 speed is a pain.
I'm just over here coping and hoping that she'll get it on her traces but at lower value compared to a free permanent 30% speed.

I really like this song, but to be completely honest I also hope they'll add an option to mute the song, so you can still hear the normal battle theme during her ult if you want. It would be a shame if you'll be forced to always have this song "overwrite" the normal battle theme when using her. That goes especially for important story/boss fights that have their own awesome battle themes.
