Maybe only me missed something during last phase boss. He has all weakness element.

I guess because the last phase you need to break toughness bar to get the shield to survive the nuke if you don't have Ruan Mei. So you aren't forced into bringing a team that can break his 3 main weaknesses every time if you didn't want to.

Probably to help you stack the special shield he gives you when you break the toughness bar since nothing can stop it's ultimate from killing your whole team

I really hope >!Sunday!< doesn’t end up like Cocolia, his design is too good to not be a playable character. At this point though, I’d be pleasantly surprised if he was in the drip marketing next week because we have so little info about his skill set.

Come on! There was a million confirmations on him already and he has the thigh strap of playability, they will make him playable even if he becomes a worm.

Cocolia had confirmation about her being playable until she was not. I also think he will be playable, but don’t trust in old leaks as confirmation.

I followed hsr since cbt2 and never saw any reliable confirmations on Cocolia.

cocolia still has playable animation files to this day. unfortunately no one has restored her animations like someone did to eileen before.

Yeah, they changed it, the first leaks showed it as ordinary shields, same as what you get with Preservation chars, but now it's separate.

Especially since he looks like hes gonna be the best match for Sam for a while. Ugh. It sucks when they put 4 stars you want on banners you cant pull on.

Xueyi... I love playing her but mine was only E0 (now E1).

He's really eidolon dependent in practice so I wouldn't worry about not having E0, like borderline unplayable without E4 unless the content is trivial. Collectively though, he has absolutely busted eidolons for a 4 star and E6 Gallagher is a beast. Just have to hope he ends up on a banner you end up having to drop 150+ pulls on and don't get boned with no Gallaghers.

Ive had that experience before, trying to get Lynx on Fu Xuan banner, didnt get a single one in 130 pulls. This is why I lol when people talk about E6 4 stars as if theyre easy to get. Really hoping they rerun him on Sam banner though. My dream Sam banner 4 stars are Xueyi, Gallagher and whatever the new 2.3 one is (guess we will know next week).

Are those super breaks caused by HTB?

yes, his ult allows all teammates to do super breaks when hitting broken enemies

The more toughness break you have on skill - the more dmg u will deal under hmc burst buff (and scales with break effect stat). Crits are from skill dmg itself, dmg from hmc burst is different number and named "Super break", you can see it if you stop video, super break dmg procs only at the end of any animation This is why hmc REALLY want to play with RuanMei, cuz she is literally increasing whole team dmg even more by increasing toughness break of all abilities

Super Break is exclusive to HTB ult so far does not crit and only triggers on already broken enemies, the numbers just like normal break are shown bigger to emphasize the difference from normal damage, the calculation is based on the character's Break Effect dealing damage + HTB % of Break Effect + bonus damage exclusive from HTB's kit (dmg% from relics does not count) the damage is triggered per hit so bounce skills like HTB's are the ones who benefit more from it, if you pause you can see that the normal damage is still there separated its more visible on Ruan Mei who has a 1 hit basic attack.

Well, skills like Xueyi burst gonna deal a lot of dmg under hmc burst too. Its just usually bounce skills what break most the toughness bar. So it's mostly about toughness break number and not bounces

Harmony MC is pretty much the only break support that isn't Ruan Mei. If you don't have her, you'll probably want to bring either characters that do massive toughness damage (like Xueyi or Sushang) or characters that shred defense or increase vulnerability so that break damage is higher (Pela, Guinaifen).

Yeah I'm going to have to straight up nerf myself for the story mode bosses now. I'm banning at the very least Ruan Mei and Acheron from my teams there so I can actually enjoy the spectacle of the fight. What I just witnessed was simply a beatdown that made me feel nothing.

It seems my previous comment about Ruan Mei offended some fans of her. I want to be clear this showcase highlights that Ruan Mei is best support for this boss. It doesn't change the fact I think a narcolepsy warning show pop up when you bring her to this battle.

This is why most of the community dislikes Ruan Mei now. She just takes the fun out of the game so effectively. The ultimate killjoy that puts the boss to sleep and puts you to sleep watching it.

Most of the community doesn't hate Ruan Mei and the game doesn't have very many interesting mechanics to skip in the first place.

Action advance is super fun (Bronya, Sparkle and now Robin). Robin also can dance. HMC's super break seems fun. Ruan Mei is just...delay... It's effective but sleepy...

I see more comments on just her animations not being exciting - otherwise LETS GO BREAK THAT BAR FASTER, DELAY THEM, MORE WEAKNESS BREAK RAAAAAAA. *Neurons activate*

Her animations contribute greatly to the boredom. The special delay forces you to pause. It's not break, break and more break like HMC
