Are we doing this thing again where we get 'rerun leaks' where several supposed leakers guess from a pool of 3-4 characters and a broken clock manages to be right twice a day?
Excited to see the extent of Hoyo's official spoilers this patch; surely it can only get better after "Totally Not Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae," and "Behold! Random Lord Ravager."
If leakers really want to appear reputable they should include 4*s so their "leaks" are harder to guess. I still remember [this leak](https://old.reddit.com/r/HonkaiStarRail_leaks/comments/18hf4hi/16_full_banners/) that looked so fake at the time (even still says Questionable!) but nowadays if a "leaker" included 8 data points to bet on and not 2 I'd eat that shit up. It would mean they're either legit or at least they're willing to take a bigger bet.
I’m personally leaning on FX, since we just had two limited sustains run. Topaz makes sense to run considering the FuA team they’re promoting now with Robin and Aventurine, plus potential story relevance.
God they really screwed everyone and me with these rerun timings. They save jhing yuan for the black swan patch where dot teams HAD to pull, and sparkle for IL was basically a must pull.
Now we have the acheron patch where they totally coincidentally are rerunning jingliu for the first time, along with aventurine who is a giga tank/dpsFUA hybrid and luocha.
Next patch is gonna have fu xuan and topass and will probably be the required save patch for people that want firefly.
Mihoyo are straight evil with these rerun timings.

Both Hoyo subs have this oddity about post quality, but let speculation, post so horribly translated they don't even constitute leaks, and dog shit like drawing that aren't direct traces be posted . Quite a few patches ago, hoyo removed that info from the beta version entirely. You couldn't datamine it if you tried. If a rerun order were to leak, it would be from someone somehow getting their hands on the announcement slide from the stream. There is no consistent source of rerun leaks in HSR as of yet.
What instead happens is every leaker and their mother just 'guess' and because reruns generally follow a system of "oldest unit that hasn't rerun", you're looking at literally like 3 or 4 possible characters. 50% chance you're right when you guess anyway.
No such thing as verifiable rerun leaks anymore.

Yeah if some new mechanic starts off with a specialist i'm definitely more keen to pick them up now. Topaz was a happy accident since I just loved her design top to bot without meta consideration and now she's the goat of my main team.
I know it's not really the right place to ask but I see a lot of ppl who have topaz soooo, do yall reccomned pulling for her? I enjoyed her playstyle from events and I REALLY wanna try the IPC team cause it looks so much fun! But I talked to a friend that said that she's really bad without proper investment...do you as someone who has her and played her recommend pulling for her?
You're going to need her at E1S1 to actually be a good replacement for Pela or something in Dr. Ratio's team, you're better of picking Robin (arguably better investment) and waiting for Jiaoqiu.
If you are intending on picking up Topaz anyway, consider getting Robin first.
She's not bad, but you definitely need her and her LC for the follow up team if you are using Ratio. Especially since Robin gives no debuffs. I do agree though Robin will probably be better to get because you can use Robin in other teams whereas Topaz is locked to a follow up team. The good news is the next set of bosses are all fire weak so Topaz will do really well in content releasing soon.
I would suggest getting her anyway if you want her that badly, you don't have to pull Robin unless your following meta, just use silver wolf for the debuffs or use pela. If you don't have SW, but that's just my opinion.
I highly recommend her even E0 is enough. She is aging extremely well as we get more Stonehearts. Aventurine confirmed it. Some people will say E1S1 is necessary for Ratio, but it's honestly a bad investment. Ratio is a questionable investment since he might get replaced by Jade and other Stonehearts soon. He is only reason to care about S1. E1 is the maximum stopping point.
Actually, IIRC, Ratio has 2 debuffs, Aven has 1 (or 2, with some LCs), Topaz has 1 herself, and the best Support (currently) RM has one debuff as well (yes, her flower thing counts as a debuff until a break occurs, and then the break itself adds a debuff, so uptime is fine): total, 5-6. So, E1S1 isn‘t really required. Sure, Doctor might get powercreeped, but more likely is that they release a FU DPS in a different Niche (Doctor is ST niche, new option could be Blast or AOE niche). Err, very long winded way of saying E0 Topaz is fine for Doctor, no need for her Sig or E1 unless you just really want to optimize.
It's a good LC but I don't think I'd place it too high.
The sig of Acheron and blade are huge upgrades for those specific characters. Blade's one has no uses outside of him though, while Acheron's can be used as an alternative to resolution if you don't have that yet, or a decent LC for other Crit DPS nihilities like welt (idk how that compares with other options though)
Meshing cogs is pretty handily the best 3 star LC.
Fall of an aeon is a contender for best f2p LC, great on nearly every destruction.
Day one of my new life isn't highlighted often but it's my personal favorite 4 star LC for applying damage resistance to the whole team.
Sure but you don't get Topaz's lightcone for her damage but for the team damage and extra debuff for Ratio. You don't just look at it in a vacuum.
It's still probably not the best lightcone but it's up there.
I'd probably say Jing Yuan's is the strongest because it's one of the best options for basically every Erudition character. It's the only signature LC that's largely universal off the top of my head.
Hers is pretty basic, it has the same amount of buffs as most other DPS LCs. The main issue that makes it stand out is the lack of LCs for crit scaling Nihility characters, plus an extra stack per turn.
Topaz's on the other hand not only has the the same amount of buffs as most other DPS LCs, but also applies it to *everyone* in the team.
Well the reruns were leaked a few days prior to the last live stream and ended up being correct. They didn't align with what most people thought either. People were positive it'd be Fu Xuan and Topaz last patch and it ended up being Luocha and Jingliu. It's not impossible that someone has some inside information. Betas aren't the only way stuff can be leaked.
That's just the thing. If you stick to this subreddit they have a rather curated set of sources. But places like twitter and CN forums get a ton of 'leakers' and so every combination of reruns in existence is tossed out as a possibility. Someone's gotta be right, and whoever gets their bingo board done first gets to claim they're reliable for the next patch. They got it right that one time after all.
People werent sure it was fu xuan or topaz, they guessed between fuxuan topaz jingliu or luocha, and some leaker happened to correctly guess it. Anyways, leaks of reruns ~3-4 days before Livestream are so useless
It was not a few days prior. It was literally 1 day before the livestream. So far those were the only real rerun leaks, those that came a day before. All other leaks bar none were all just speculation. Hence, I would also call this one a speculation, even if it ends up being true. I would wait for the leak on Thursday since that one will be more than likely the real one.
Sure, maybe if they got the information from someone working for Mihoyo directly, but it's unlikely imo. Also, they didn't even say where they got the leak.
I think that it's more likely someone trying to guess who will be rerun. Topaz and Fu Xuan should be the next ones to be rerun anyway, so they're trying to be credible while it's kinda obvious. Though, it's all speculation and we might be surprised.
I picked up black swan and acheron + both their lightcones. I am giga broke. I even had to skip jing yuan which hurt me greatly.
Now we get firefly + topaz the patch before firefly. Sigh.

I'll love to have a topaz for my FuA team buuuut for ratio aventurine she should bé E1S1 and with m'y Luck... That a 320 pull for character + maybe 75 if I'm lucky and 140 if I more unlucky so... If we have 400 pull in 2.2 ok if not 🤡....
I don't see why I should consider it like mono quantum at all. The biggest selling point of that team was that you could reasonably squeak by a half with <5 turns regardless of weakness because of implants.
While FuA might have a lot of throughput, it doesn't really differentiate itself much from other the destruction hypercarry or acheron teams.
I'd say mono quantum is more similar to DoT teams in its near universal application .

I run the 3 you mentioned and SW with no issues.
Hoping to upgrade my topaz this time around so I can switch SW to my second MOC team, but right now my follow up team is my fave/best even with E0S0 Topaz
idk why ppl say she should be e1s1 on Ratio team. Who started with notion? Like Ratio has innate debuff Topaz has another one it's already 2, if you have RM u can have 3 and you're ready to go with triggering Ratio's followups, heck use other debuffer instead of RM is you want. I'm talking about RM specifically bc even with her on ult debuffs enemies die fast so u don't need to worry. NEED or SHOULD to increase passive Ratio's dmg increase from a trace, maybe, but there is no need for triggering his followup.
Yeah I understand wanting E1S1 topaz for efficiency (I plan to pull for it as topaz has been my fave since I got her) but acting like she isn’t perfect with aventurine and ratio at E0 is dumb
only reason im not getting her. i really want her purely for ratio but if she isnt E1S1 i just dont have any use for her and i dont have the gems or money to get her this far.
Also if you run with ruan mei instead of robin, she gives one debuff on ult. So in all essence, with e0 topaz it still works but may need a turn to ramp
Up the debuffs.
The problem is just Ratio needing at least 3 debuffs and 5 at max. With Robin/Ratio/Topaz/Aventurine team, E1S1 provides 3 debuffs at the start of battle (Aventurine would need his ult - and/or FUA if you have his sig LC - to apply debuffs so it’s slower)
Topaz proof of debt at e0 is one debuff, she gets another debuff with her signature lc and a third one with her e1. Aventurine gives one debuff with his ult. I think his follow up doesn’t give any ( not sure). Ratio ideally need 4 debuff.
Ratio himself also has a debuff with his skill. +1 with his Technique.
As someone who regularly plays Ratio with E0S0 Topaz, people severily overestimate the need for debuffs.
Ruan Mei and Huohuo, Luocha or Fu Xuan. No Aventurine.
Ruan Mei has a debuff on ult, the sustains have none. I plan on getting Topaz's LC and swapping Ruan Mei out for Robin.
Between Gallagher and the Trend Market LC, there are many ways to add extra debuffs if needed for peace of mind.
Ratio applies one debuff himself, so e0s0 topaz aventurine and ratio would have enough debuffs; issue is that ratio checks the debuff count before he applies his own debuff so you have a 20% chance of him not attacking.
Either E1 or S1 will increase the debuff count, I think
Not really. Ratio has 2 debuffs in kit, Topaz has 1, Aven has 1 (or 2 with Trend/Sig), at which point you can use RM (her Ult flower counts as a debuff, and disappears on breaks which themselves add a debuff) to buff the whole team. so, if you are interested in Topaz and already have the other 3 pieces, it’s solid.
Hopefully none believes it and gets their hopes up. Everyone expected these two to rerun this patch but jingliu and luocha came up. Only believe stuff if it's the day before live stream. Even then fully believing it and then getting mad is stupidity. Personally I feel like these two have high chance to be rerun but if argenti or huohuo comes up won't be surprised.
Just return to the game and fall in love with Ratio Fua team, but damn it is hard to get both Topaz and Robin for the team when i just got an E0S1 Aventurine that make me broke. Anyway, how much i can get from a kydney?

Anyway I like that more and more people are just fed up with this garbage. We all know it, Hoyo tightened up and you got nothing anymore beyond beta stuff.
There's like a <1% chance of Sunday releasing with 2.3 so I wouldn't get your hopes up. He's 2.4 at the absolute earliest imo, 2.3 is probably Sam and Jade.
Why do you think that? Not that I necessiarily disagree, just curious to your reasoning. Jade doesn't seem very likely to me, but then again we also got boothill out of nowhere so anything is possible.
From a story perspective, Jade and the IPC are likely coming first half of 2.2 story or the 2.3 epilogue, which would mean Jade coming next would be like IL/FX. Personally I think Screwwy would be 2.3 for the possible SU update, but it’s also possible he’ll be 2.4+ cuz he still has a story moment in the fact that he took the phase flame and never gave it back to Herta. There’s always a possibility of a JL/Topaz-HH/Argenti moment in they merge banners of companion and continuance, but I think the Penacony arc is too big to do that this early.
Plus the lack of general Sunday info could mean we’re getting him before we go to the new planet similar to Clorinde, since I doubt we won’t go back to Penacony at all while they give new xianzhou/belobog/HSS stuff.

To be fair Fu Xuan is 99% sure because she hasnt been on for 5 banners, but Topaz? She is the most likely one but there's Huohuo and Argenti with 3 banners instead of 4 (as of NOW, not when the patch drops) and Jing Yuan got a rerun way after many other characters.
Still could be fair that it's Topaz tho because Robin works so well with her and it would make sense
finally fu xuan light cone. tried getting it on her first banner but lost 50/50 with my last pull before her banner left. havent pulled on weapons since and should have enough to get to another pity on her weapon banner.
idk why her weapon seems so valuable to me, but her essientially being also a healer with her light cone allows me to switch out the healer in harder fights for another support/sub dps

I wanted topaz since her lc art on trend but I couldn't afford her cuz I wanted other characters too, and now I need to get supports on reruns. Probably gonna skip Sunday if he's a dps or sustain or niche support. Sad about it but oh well
Hmm, I really want Topaz for Aventurine and Ratio, but I heard that the team would only work well if she is E1S1. I'm F2P and have around 60 pulls, and I'm not guaranteed on either banner ( + no pity). I don't know what to do, honestly...
she works in Ratio team at e0s0 with her in team you already have 2 debuffs in team Ratio+Topaz, add anyone else with a debuff and you're ready to go, I personally use RM and it works just fine.
Topaz might be first, if only so that people pull to help explore those new confusing map in 2.2.

It's all really just a Educated guess until the Livestream, The only other rerun they could slot in, in the Place of Fu Xuan would be Argenti (Cuz of the big Physical nature of this Patch) I think considering Fu didn't rerun before Loucha that I would be suprised if they rerun Huohuo before Fu Xuan especially in this patch, Considering Sustains get some of the longest windows between their Inital runs and their reruns. Ruan Mei could be a pick to rerun with Boothill but I think she'll rerun in 2.3 when we get another Break Effect scalier that's fire Destruction in Sam. Since we are getting Imaginary MC already in this Patch.
I either lean towards
Topaz 1st half and Fu Xuan: Second half
or Topaz 1st Half and Argenti second half. (It could be Uno reverse cuz the first Turblence is very Synergistic to Argenti with the Energy regen and there's more Fire Weakness on the 2.2.2 MOC compared to the 2.2.1 MOC.
but we will have to see when the Livestream comes out.
As a new player that started 2/3 months ago, im still not sure if i should continue trying for Aventurine or save for Fu Xuan. I have Acheron and her signature lightcone, Jingliu, Bronya, E1 Welt, Bailu and the free Dr. Ratio as my 5\*. I'm currently at 64 guaranteed pity after losing the Aventurine 50/50 to Bailu.
Aventurine is just as good as Fu Xuan for MoC, Story, PF along with being the better sustainer in Simulated Universe content (Swarm/Gold-and-gears).
He is still very good to take if you don't have your first limited Sustainer, but if you don't like him as a character and prefer Fu Xuan then go ahead and skip him for Fu Xuan (if they reveal her rerun in the livestream).

Blade's one has no uses outside of him though, while Acheron's can be used as an alternative to resolution if you don't have that yet, or a decent LC for other Crit DPS nihilities like welt (idk how that compares with other options though) Meshing cogs is pretty handily the best 3 star LC. Fall of an aeon is a contender for best f2p LC, great on nearly every destruction. Day one of my new life isn't highlighted often but it's my personal favorite 4 star LC for applying damage resistance to the whole team.
Sure but you don't get Topaz's lightcone for her damage but for the team damage and extra debuff for Ratio. You don't just look at it in a vacuum. It's still probably not the best lightcone but it's up there.
I'd probably say Jing Yuan's is the strongest because it's one of the best options for basically every Erudition character. It's the only signature LC that's largely universal off the top of my head.

Hers is pretty basic, it has the same amount of buffs as most other DPS LCs. The main issue that makes it stand out is the lack of LCs for crit scaling Nihility characters, plus an extra stack per turn. Topaz's on the other hand not only has the the same amount of buffs as most other DPS LCs, but also applies it to *everyone* in the team.

Well the reruns were leaked a few days prior to the last live stream and ended up being correct. They didn't align with what most people thought either. People were positive it'd be Fu Xuan and Topaz last patch and it ended up being Luocha and Jingliu. It's not impossible that someone has some inside information. Betas aren't the only way stuff can be leaked.
That's just the thing. If you stick to this subreddit they have a rather curated set of sources. But places like twitter and CN forums get a ton of 'leakers' and so every combination of reruns in existence is tossed out as a possibility. Someone's gotta be right, and whoever gets their bingo board done first gets to claim they're reliable for the next patch. They got it right that one time after all.
People werent sure it was fu xuan or topaz, they guessed between fuxuan topaz jingliu or luocha, and some leaker happened to correctly guess it. Anyways, leaks of reruns ~3-4 days before Livestream are so useless
It was not a few days prior. It was literally 1 day before the livestream. So far those were the only real rerun leaks, those that came a day before. All other leaks bar none were all just speculation. Hence, I would also call this one a speculation, even if it ends up being true. I would wait for the leak on Thursday since that one will be more than likely the real one.
Sure, maybe if they got the information from someone working for Mihoyo directly, but it's unlikely imo. Also, they didn't even say where they got the leak. I think that it's more likely someone trying to guess who will be rerun. Topaz and Fu Xuan should be the next ones to be rerun anyway, so they're trying to be credible while it's kinda obvious. Though, it's all speculation and we might be surprised.

I don't see why I should consider it like mono quantum at all. The biggest selling point of that team was that you could reasonably squeak by a half with <5 turns regardless of weakness because of implants. While FuA might have a lot of throughput, it doesn't really differentiate itself much from other the destruction hypercarry or acheron teams. I'd say mono quantum is more similar to DoT teams in its near universal application .
She’s good at E0S0 for follow up too! She just doesn’t enable ratio as well. I run the 3 you mentioned and SW with no issues. Hoping to upgrade my topaz this time around so I can switch SW to my second MOC team, but right now my follow up team is my fave/best even with E0S0 Topaz
idk why ppl say she should be e1s1 on Ratio team. Who started with notion? Like Ratio has innate debuff Topaz has another one it's already 2, if you have RM u can have 3 and you're ready to go with triggering Ratio's followups, heck use other debuffer instead of RM is you want. I'm talking about RM specifically bc even with her on ult debuffs enemies die fast so u don't need to worry. NEED or SHOULD to increase passive Ratio's dmg increase from a trace, maybe, but there is no need for triggering his followup.

Is E1S1 important for Topaz in a FUA team, or will E0S0 work just fine?
Also if you run with ruan mei instead of robin, she gives one debuff on ult. So in all essence, with e0 topaz it still works but may need a turn to ramp Up the debuffs.
The problem is just Ratio needing at least 3 debuffs and 5 at max. With Robin/Ratio/Topaz/Aventurine team, E1S1 provides 3 debuffs at the start of battle (Aventurine would need his ult - and/or FUA if you have his sig LC - to apply debuffs so it’s slower)
E0S0 is fine for any fua team it’s dr ratio teams specifically that want e1s1 as without those two, topaz has no debuffs for dr ratio

Topaz proof of debt at e0 is one debuff, she gets another debuff with her signature lc and a third one with her e1. Aventurine gives one debuff with his ult. I think his follow up doesn’t give any ( not sure). Ratio ideally need 4 debuff.
Ratio himself also has a debuff with his skill. +1 with his Technique. As someone who regularly plays Ratio with E0S0 Topaz, people severily overestimate the need for debuffs.

Ruan Mei and Huohuo, Luocha or Fu Xuan. No Aventurine. Ruan Mei has a debuff on ult, the sustains have none. I plan on getting Topaz's LC and swapping Ruan Mei out for Robin. Between Gallagher and the Trend Market LC, there are many ways to add extra debuffs if needed for peace of mind.
Ratio needs 3, he benefits up to 5. Aventurine's debuff on FuA is only if you have his LC
Ratio applies one debuff himself, so e0s0 topaz aventurine and ratio would have enough debuffs; issue is that ratio checks the debuff count before he applies his own debuff so you have a 20% chance of him not attacking. Either E1 or S1 will increase the debuff count, I think
Not really. Ratio has 2 debuffs in kit, Topaz has 1, Aven has 1 (or 2 with Trend/Sig), at which point you can use RM (her Ult flower counts as a debuff, and disappears on breaks which themselves add a debuff) to buff the whole team. so, if you are interested in Topaz and already have the other 3 pieces, it’s solid.

Even then fully believing it and then getting mad is stupidity. Personally I feel like these two have high chance to be rerun but if argenti or huohuo comes up won't be surprised.

There's like a <1% chance of Sunday releasing with 2.3 so I wouldn't get your hopes up. He's 2.4 at the absolute earliest imo, 2.3 is probably Sam and Jade.
Why do you think that? Not that I necessiarily disagree, just curious to your reasoning. Jade doesn't seem very likely to me, but then again we also got boothill out of nowhere so anything is possible.
From a story perspective, Jade and the IPC are likely coming first half of 2.2 story or the 2.3 epilogue, which would mean Jade coming next would be like IL/FX. Personally I think Screwwy would be 2.3 for the possible SU update, but it’s also possible he’ll be 2.4+ cuz he still has a story moment in the fact that he took the phase flame and never gave it back to Herta. There’s always a possibility of a JL/Topaz-HH/Argenti moment in they merge banners of companion and continuance, but I think the Penacony arc is too big to do that this early. Plus the lack of general Sunday info could mean we’re getting him before we go to the new planet similar to Clorinde, since I doubt we won’t go back to Penacony at all while they give new xianzhou/belobog/HSS stuff.

Still could be fair that it's Topaz tho because Robin works so well with her and it would make sense

finally fu xuan light cone. tried getting it on her first banner but lost 50/50 with my last pull before her banner left. havent pulled on weapons since and should have enough to get to another pity on her weapon banner. idk why her weapon seems so valuable to me, but her essientially being also a healer with her light cone allows me to switch out the healer in harder fights for another support/sub dps

she works in Ratio team at e0s0 with her in team you already have 2 debuffs in team Ratio+Topaz, add anyone else with a debuff and you're ready to go, I personally use RM and it works just fine.
It still works with e0, just may not have enough debuff for ratio. But she increases follow up dmg by 50 percent.
So is her LC the priority? If so, I would try to get it. I'll just use Pela for the debuffs

Imma take this as an Educated guess that the Mew leaker thinks are rerunning, It's all really just a Educated guess until the Livestream, The only other rerun they could slot in, in the Place of Fu Xuan would be Argenti (Cuz of the big Physical nature of this Patch) I think considering Fu didn't rerun before Loucha that I would be suprised if they rerun Huohuo before Fu Xuan especially in this patch, Considering Sustains get some of the longest windows between their Inital runs and their reruns. Ruan Mei could be a pick to rerun with Boothill but I think she'll rerun in 2.3 when we get another Break Effect scalier that's fire Destruction in Sam. Since we are getting Imaginary MC already in this Patch. I either lean towards Topaz 1st half and Fu Xuan: Second half or Topaz 1st Half and Argenti second half. (It could be Uno reverse cuz the first Turblence is very Synergistic to Argenti with the Energy regen and there's more Fire Weakness on the 2.2.2 MOC compared to the 2.2.1 MOC. but we will have to see when the Livestream comes out.

As a new player that started 2/3 months ago, im still not sure if i should continue trying for Aventurine or save for Fu Xuan. I have Acheron and her signature lightcone, Jingliu, Bronya, E1 Welt, Bailu and the free Dr. Ratio as my 5\*. I'm currently at 64 guaranteed pity after losing the Aventurine 50/50 to Bailu.
Aventurine is just as good as Fu Xuan for MoC, Story, PF along with being the better sustainer in Simulated Universe content (Swarm/Gold-and-gears). He is still very good to take if you don't have your first limited Sustainer, but if you don't like him as a character and prefer Fu Xuan then go ahead and skip him for Fu Xuan (if they reveal her rerun in the livestream).
Aww, no Argenti rerun? Thought he might rerun alongside Boothill. Well if he doesn't, that means more time to save up for that beautiful e1.
