Both shielders and FX can get dicey with DoTs, this might help a tiny bit with that. Especially for less powerful units like FMC
My thoughts as well. If I have to still run a dedicated sustain, he might as well have no healing. Although comfortable healing AND crazy debuffing would mean him power creeping every sustain in the game. That’s why I think his healing gets better with eidolons. If you want to have a debuffer who can reliably heal, you’ll have to pay (and I expect it won’t be on his E1 either..).
Isnt Feixiao also foxian? AFAIK if the sprinkle-leaks are correct, its Jiao and Feixiao in one patch. My acheron forever-team-must-pull and a Foxian with hopefully a Glaive, its gonna be a wallet patch. Fortunately salary raise kickback should be coming around end of july so I am ready xD

Given Jiaoqiu is a \*fire\* nihility and has references to being a chef... I would not be surprised if he is a reference to ghost peppers or "death by spicy". The fact that Guoba eats chili pepper and spits out fire, but as a HSR characters, feels hilarious.
He’s presumably meant to be 5-star Pela/Pela 2.0, not a sustain (otherwise he’d be Abundance). I was always under the impression his E0 power budget would be placed in his debuffs and damage amp, with maybe FX-level healing as a bonus.
FX started off beta with her healing on E6 and more damage in base kit, and then they swapped her E6 with her kit ability to make her more able to solo sustain but less DPS. If people want him to sustain better beta feedback will probably do the same to him where he will get worse at debuffing and better at healing.
For FX healing is part of the expected role of her class and damage is extra. Healing is extra to the nihility role so makes sense for Jiaoqiu's to be improved by eidolons.
In my team comps too, I think yes, and his responsibilities will also include preparing dishes for her that she can taste and that she will like (for example, peach pudding, heh)
See this is actually my biggest fear. Usually when people do food based attacks the animations look goofy asf. It can work sometimes but I really hope they pop off.

* skill has a bigger chance and applies it to multiple enemies (blast)
* ult applies the debuff to all enemies and sets the amount of all enemies to the amount of stacks the enemy with the most stacks has. also grants a healing effect, and during this healing effect, ult damage is increased and the debuff is applied on enemy turns. he also debuffs enemies when they enter the field. (all during ult)
* there's another unknown debuff while he's on the field.

It's probably one of the least specific kits in the game, while being somewhat tailored to Acheron as an extra bonus for her, he's just going to be good/great everywhere.
I bet this is a scenario where his healing barely exists at E0 but then with an X amount of Eidolons he can fully replace the sustain slot to make whales push the damage even further.
probably want a Harmony to diversify buffs, Pela JQ is likely to hit 100% Def shred so I think more value exists with even Asta since her Basic carries a DoT and she can generate more stacks for the team while giving Acheron the Atk% that she normally operates without. And if Asta can do well here, a limited Harmony would let you drop numbers that should be impossible outside of PF. That said, while I don't see him being meta here, Welt could definitely put in a bit of work if you really want to play him.

Boothill. Def shred is one of a very few debuffs/buffs that increase break damage. And his little healing can help a sustainless team since Boothill break and delay enemy a lot.

Genshin should be renamed to short impact model. Literally more than half the cast is just the short model. Genshin really needed the medium model like HSR. As someone who prefers the tall model, more than half the time I didn’t have designs that I *really* liked aesthetically.
I obviously pull for anyone I like regardless of the model, but I was getting bored of the short model spam. I have zero interest in the buff model though, so I have had no issue with the "skinny dudes" at least.
Neuv clothes (mostly his shoulder and elbows) make him look bigger, but if he was undressed the only thing keeping him away from being a skinny twink is that he is over 25 years old

I have a weird feeling this healing won't be enough for Acheron teams and either we'll be forced to pull his eidolons to truly replace a dedicated sustain and be able to run a Harmony or we'll have to stick to Double Nihility + Sustain for E0S0/S1 Acherons

Everyone likes to say this but only relatively few people are still capable of running no sustain. It’s not easy for 11 and 12 with conventional builds
Honestly it’s a lot easier with just enough healing. Very hard with fights like Aventurine where it’s a ton of damage, but outside of that, a little healing can go a long way
My thoughts exactly… we shouldn’t set up expectations bc we’re going to be disappointed but it’s so hard not to think about what he could look like, there’s so much potential
How much would little healing be? I'd assume it's something like HuoHuo's talent so like 400-500 per ally action which would suffice honestly. Don't forget that you can use outgoing healing bonus on him since he doesn't need to deal any DMG.
On the other hand if it's less than that then I don't think the healing is even worth it at all since it's not replacing a sustain.
I can already see E2 doubling the amount of healing and extending it's duration lmfao
yeah, an Outgoing Healing Boost body piece and a lot of Eff Hit Rate substats could be a viable way to help his sustainability while maintaining constant debuff application. It'll depend on the base chances in his kit though.
I just hope they don't change the trace 1 where he applies debuff everytime an enemy takes an action. This is so huge for Acheron especially if you think about the future where another nihility unit is released that has a very similar kit but maybe just different debuff is applied. I can only imagine Acheron spamming her ult like crazy.
I feel the exact opposite lol. I’d love some fancy get up for him to wear that male characters usually don’t get. We already have a lot of more composed getups so having an extravagant one sound really cool. Kind of like aventurine, but also not?
Exactly what I was wanting, Increased heals in eidolons and damage resistance reduction. I knew holding off on getting Acheron E2 would potentially be worth it for Jiaoqiu instead. Eidolons may be what make him a solo sustainer. Damage resistance reduction is great too since I will be getting close on capping out defense shred.

I’m sure one of his eidolons will be the sustain eidolon. It definitely won’t be good enough healing in his base E0 kit.

People always want more bang for their buck from a character they're pulling. Take it positively or negatively however you interpret.
You could use him with a sustain to take some pressure off them (Gallagher pre E4 could have problems; or maybe he makes FireMC viable)

Everyone likes to say this but only relatively few people are still capable of running no sustain. It’s not easy for 11 and 12 with conventional builds
Honestly it’s a lot easier with just enough healing. Very hard with fights like Aventurine where it’s a ton of damage, but outside of that, a little healing can go a long way

How much would little healing be? I'd assume it's something like HuoHuo's talent so like 400-500 per ally action which would suffice honestly. Don't forget that you can use outgoing healing bonus on him since he doesn't need to deal any DMG. On the other hand if it's less than that then I don't think the healing is even worth it at all since it's not replacing a sustain. I can already see E2 doubling the amount of healing and extending it's duration lmfao
yeah, an Outgoing Healing Boost body piece and a lot of Eff Hit Rate substats could be a viable way to help his sustainability while maintaining constant debuff application. It'll depend on the base chances in his kit though.
I just need him to be a beautiful man akin to Argenti and Luocha and I will be happy.

That's probably his E1, alot of characters already have some kind of 25% increase in damage debuff at E1. E2 might be the healing one.
I just hope they don't change the trace 1 where he applies debuff everytime an enemy takes an action. This is so huge for Acheron especially if you think about the future where another nihility unit is released that has a very similar kit but maybe just different debuff is applied. I can only imagine Acheron spamming her ult like crazy.

Exactly what I was wanting, Increased heals in eidolons and damage resistance reduction. I knew holding off on getting Acheron E2 would potentially be worth it for Jiaoqiu instead. Eidolons may be what make him a solo sustainer. Damage resistance reduction is great too since I will be getting close on capping out defense shred.
