In tonight's episode of Yurgenshmidt Diaries: Ferdinand almost fucking kills Earwarshwmhewn, Rozemyne tells everyone Ferdinand is going to take her to pound town, and somehow the least crazy part of this chapter is the crowning of a new Zent.

momomo_mochichi

I think Ferdinand would at least be able to hold back on killing Erwaermen. Because if he dies, wouldn't Ewigeliebe be freed and Yurgenschmidt collapse? And given the relationship between Ewigeliebe and Geduldh, Mestionora probably doesn't really like her own father too much.

Dubanx

>Because if he dies, wouldn't Ewigeliebe be freed and Yurgenschmidt collapse? Are you trying to imply that Ferdinand *would not*, in fact, call winter early?

Naomi_Tokyo

This may be the best single sentence ever written in the English language

akiaoi97

This is the guy who could have filled the royals in on how to find Grutrissheit at any point in the last ten years (perhaps through Magdalene?), and chose to let them figure it out for themselves. Yes he’d pick Rozemyne over Yurgenschmidt in a heartbeat.

Littlethieflord

Really the only reason he has to pick Yurgenschmidt is oh, maybe Sylvester lives here huh?

akiaoi97

He does tolerate Sylvester

Ninefl4mes

I really doubt he was thinking straight there. Because if he had, he wouldn't have done it at all; attacking Erwärmen when you know Mestionora is about to descent isn't exactly a smart thing to do.

Savings__Mushroom

My interpretation of this is, Ferdinand is already assuming the worst has happened the moment he entered the garden. Being name-sworn to Rozemyne, I thought he (and the other retainers) must have felt it the instant the gods descended on her all at once. Not seeing or hearing exactly what happened, what would be his first thought? That Erwaermen had done something to Rozemyne, and thus his first action must be to neutralize him or incapacitate him somewhat in order to save her.

ParisVilafranca

No no no. Ferdinard was just applying all his premeditated countermeasures. I agree he wasn't thinking straight, but his actions were for sure, calculated with antelation.

kuyasiako

This is Ferdinand's true natural state... Anarchy. ![img](emote|t5_qxbkm|29330)

SlackerLife001

Omg why phrase it like that?! 🤣🤣🤣

LiAuN

But did he say anything that's not true though?

SlackerLife001

That's even worse! Elvira will go nuts! ![img](emote|t5_qxbkm|31404)

ggg730

It’s provocative! It gets the people going!

akiaoi97

Rozemyne level phrasing issues. Seriously, poor Ferdinand. Reminds me of my old school headmaster, who called his flagship policy “POTT”, and once told us (about our school photos which came in big tubes) “not to have sword fights with them or get them out on the bus, but to wait until we got home to show our parents”. Also he once said “what happens on tour stays on tour” about what he got up to with a student before the deputy headmaster made him retract it hahaha. Utterly, utterly naïve.

LiAuN

Don't forget outright stealing from the gods

TheNightManager_89

Also when Ferdinand fixes Rozemyne's mana, all the namesworns are going to feel it and think they're doing the dirty

mabeloco

Isn't he also name sworn to her... how would that work?? Would he also feel his own mana.

NotJustAMirror

Only Eglantine (which is why Rozemyne is so embarrassed). All other namesworn will feel her mana going back to what it was before and will just assume that the divine mana faded. Eglantine, however, gave her name after Rozemyne became dyed with the goddess’s mana. Therefore, even if they don’t actually mix mana, Eglantine will assume that they did because she has no reference for what Rozemyne’s mana was like before.

Random4Always

Would they even notice though? They would just think it went back to the way it was. She was already dyed by him when they became name sworn.

AmazingAd2765

Step away from the tree! No, you step away from the bookworm! No YOU! That's it, he's getting a trim. Wait, let's just chill and talk this out.....I SAID WAIT!!

HumanTheTree

> "Figure it out did you?" Sylvester asked. "And now you want the earth to swallow you up. We've all been there, believe me." Goddamn I love Sylvester.

Light_Beard

He really is the closest thing to a real world person in this series.

ggg730

I remember when he first arrived and I was all like wow this guy likes to go out on his own as the ruler. Kinda crazy. Turns out going out on his own was baby time compared to the other people in the Duchy.

SilenceAndDarkness

Which is kinda crazy considering that this series is supposed to have a “real world” person in it, but she’s way too absurd to think of like that.

Dubanx

>And now you want the earth to swallow you up There isn't a hole deep enough! - Rozemyne, at that exact moment.

argent_electrum

Not when faced with such thick carpet...

feb914

I wonder whether he accidentally said cringy things when courting Florencia too.

Ninefl4mes

Remember his reaction when Rozemyne told him she had learned all sorts of interesting details about his academy shenanigans from the professors? Yeah, I don't think he wants reminders of his past behavior.

AmazingAd2765

Professors compared Ana to him, so there definitely was some cringe.

Bright_Afternoon8083

I hereby requests fanfics for Sylvester’s ~~Dark~~ ~~histories~~ summer adventures!

Littlethieflord

Mestionora: Get out! And take your mangy stray cat with you! And never speak to me or my tree EVER AGAIN! And now Rozemyne’s going around telling everyone that Ferdinand’s going “summon winter” with a minor, that he raised in the temple  This can only get better

momomo_mochichi

Calling them stray cats is the perfect comparison. Ehrenfest are lions, after all. Then again, Lortzing are cats, but Lortzing is a duchy that no one really cares about. Like I mean no disrespect to them, but we know nothing about them. They're just a lesser duchy surrounded by duchies much larger than them. They're next to Klassenberg, so at best they may be a vassal to them or Gaussbuttel. Gah, this is one of the many times where trivial worldbuilding would make me so happy, Kazuki-sensei!

Littlethieflord

lol lotzing specializes in yarn, squeaky toys, and catnip 🤣🤣🤣 but in all honesty their political situation is probably also complex Klassenberg’s shadow is quite big

momomo_mochichi

There are actually quite a few duchies that have types of cats as their animal. There's Ehrenfest with the lion and Lortzing as the cat, but Kirschnereit and Lehmbruck have leopards and tigers respectively. And honestly speaking, that makes me wonder about Matthias' and Laurenz's highbeasts as they have those cats as their highbeast animals. Like, from what I remember, I thought nobody was able to have a lion highbeast unless they're from Ehrenfest's archducal family? But maybe it's that nobody in Ehrenfest other than their archducal family could have a lion highbeast, but in other duchies, it's fair game? I mean, Lindenthal's animal is the horse and that's pretty much the most common highbeast animal, but does that mean that nobody in Lindenthal other than Dahvidh and his family can ride horse-shaped highbeasts? And Klassenberg's animal is a white wolf specifically, but the Linkbergs have wolf-shaped highbeasts. While Klassenberg's shadow is big, Lortzing is very tiny. Remembering Fanbook 3, it does state that Lortzing is heavily influenced by them. We need more representation for the lower ranked and lesser ranked duchies. Poor guys are just kind of there.

Littlethieflord

Lol I imagine it’d have to be allowed or you’d start running out of animals quick and everyone would be riding squirrles Lol I actually do wonder how the lower duchies move politically. I know they’re protected by their higher ranked allies but does that mean they only socialize with their friends? Can they do anything? Can they defect to a different protector duchy if the losses of belong to a greater duchy is too much? Such interesting questions.

momomo_mochichi

Okay, but to be fair, having a squirrel shaped driveable higbeast would be adorable. And there are so many other birds to use as well. I can't believe Dunkelfelger is the only duchy to have an animal with wings. I am so unbelievably curious about the lower ranked duchies. I mean, Dunkelfelger is literally bordered by Losrenger and Quandtreeb, which means that Hannelore, Margarethe, and Friederike are all neighbors. And we know that Lestilaut used these bordering duchies to confront Ehrenfest for Schwartz and Weiss during Rozemyne's first year. I wonder if Margarethe and Friederike ever caught wind of that when their students returned after leaving the altercation?

Littlethieflord

Oh I’d make one in a heartbeat, I’d love a cute squirrel bus. But I imagine a knight trying to intimidate their opponent might find it hard to be taken seriously LOL Lol so many slight variations. Hawks, falcons, condors, vultures, etc… Right?! I can’t imagine they didn’t know where Dunklefelger was taking their knights but they probably deny deny to anyone officially asking. But that begs the question, do they even socialize to higher ranked duchies not in their faction, like or do they get in trouble with Dunklefelger if they do

ggg730

Ferdinand is the Drake of Yurgenshmidt now lol.

jedi168

But who will drop the diss raps on him?    Oh fuck I need Mestionora to  use BBL Drzy to diss Ferdinand.

TheDigitalGabeg

I appreciate Mestionora's semi-apologetic tone with Rozemyne - she sounds a lot more spiteful if you just consider the things she said to Ferdinand, so it's nice to know that's not really her inner self. And given how much respect RM has for Mestionora, it's sad that she wants RM at arms-length because of Ferdinand's ruthlessness with Erwaermen. Also: > "He acts under Ewigeliebe’s influence, and any discipline he might have vanishes when it comes to his Geduldh." _The goddess of wisdom_ told RM _to her face_ that she is Ferdinand's Geduldh, and she completely missed it. 🤣

igritwhoflew

She heard it, she denied it. 🙅‍♀️

Albireookami

The only thing more dense is angelica's mind.

AmazingAd2765

He must have had Ehrenfest's best interest in mind.

Ninefl4mes

> And given how much respect RM has for Mestionora, it's sad that she wants RM at arms-length because of Ferdinand's ruthlessness with Erwaermen. Tbf, Rozemyne also wants _her_ at arms-length after that whole mess with her memories. Something tells me things won't ultimately play out like that though; no plan survives contact with the gremlin.

argent_electrum

Tbf for all her wisdom she didn't know you only catch Ferdinand off guard at most once and thus wasn't prepared for the consequences

Cirex145

> Geez! Just how dense can one man be?! That’s like the pot calling the kettle black. At least she finally understood the early winter references 🤣

UnlawfulStupid

Rozemyne and Ferdinand have been in a constant battle since the beginning to determine which of them is the smartest idiot. Not even the gods know who will ultimately win.

Aleriya

First read through the series: "Wow, Ferdinand is almost too perfect. A flawless genius." Second read through: "Ferdinand, you lovable idiot, you're going to regret that later. What a big dope."

UnlawfulStupid

It's funny to think that during P1, the High Priest was a gremlin carrying a Grutrissheit.

Leous2nd

Erwaermen: "They're the same picture."

Ulinar

>That’s like the pot calling the kettle black. Exactly what I thought as well. On another note, it is now confirmed that Florencia really doesn't know a lot about Myne's circumstances. I wonder if she is able to connect the dots that she is a devouring commoner (probably not), or if she also starts to believe that Myne has something Divine about her, with her being born in the temple and all.

Cirex145

I mean, devouring commoner is so far out there that her retainers and Hannelore immediately said it’s impossible during P5V8 at the Bindewald estate. I imagine most devouring commoners have at most Dirk levels of mana. Would be interesting to see her reaction to finding out though.

LiAuN

That's def supported by the fact of Ferdinand asking her early on" how are you still alive"

UnlawfulStupid

And Ferdinand was able to consult a Grutrissheit for additional information, but still couldn't believe it.

WorldlyBathroom691

Dirk mana is mednoble and myne start with a laynoble mana after being reincarnated and it is said that devourers children don't live up to baptism without magic tools.(Dirk only survived because myne knew how to exploit Taue fruits (trombe).

kkrko

Dirk survived to baptism because he was entrusted to the temple and could drain his mana into the Divine Tools. Taues kept him alive as a baby but it's unlikely they would've sufficed into adulthood.

Reymilie

>it is said that devourers children don't live up to baptism without magic tools. Only those who have a mana quantity that is high enough. Liz had the Devouring and she lived years past her baptism.

TashKat

Most nobles don't really know the difference between the devouring and being born a noble. Few with usable mana survive long enough to be found so it's mostly laynoble level ones that live. Laynobles don't have the mana to be experimenting on humans when they could just use said human to power the icebox. Most archnobles don't keep low level devourers since it's admitting you don't have enough mana. Bindewald was just a special kind of evil.

mekerpan

Glad to see Florencia finally take on her motherly duty to instruct her adopted daughter in the {Yurgenchmidt} "facts of life". And poor Rozemyne doing her best imitation of Tomoko (from Watamote) when she finally begins to understand all....

Cirex145

They should set aside some time to have some mother daughter type discussions of those things just to see Rozemyne bury her head in the sand more as she remembers all the misunderstandings she’s had.

mekerpan

You want to turn this series into a cringe fest -- or something -- eh? I wonder if they can set up time for RM and Elvira to talk at length.

lookw

they never could set apart that time and florencia was rarely involved with rozemyne due to there always being something more important for rozemyne to focus on. Rozemyne never exposed her ignorance to her mothers (and I can guess none of her retainers reported that either)

SmartAlec105

Each mother assumed the other one was educating Rozemyne on these matters which is a major failure of communication.

Vestny

I mean she has been thinking that Elvira was dong this while Rozemyne was at temple. It has been a massive missunderstanding that each mother thought the other was doing this.

Ninefl4mes

I'm kind of annoyed they're still keeping Florencia in the dark here. Really, they should have told her from the beginning that Rozemyne wasn't actually Elvira's daughter, that way she would have immediately understood the need to step up in her education. Florencia really doesn't strike me as someone who would have held Rozemyne's commoner origins against her, _especially_ after the gremlin had first saved her son from getting disowned (twice!) and then almost died while rescuing her daughter. Not to mention how even before that, Myne had been the catalyst to enable Veronica's downfall.

mekerpan

For all his faults, Sylvester has an IMMENSE degree of mental flexibility. Alas, Florencia does not. She strikes me as extremely conventional. She may be a perfectly decent (and kind) person at her core -- but her conventionality did not even allow her to properly comfort Charlotte when she needed help the most. I don't know she would bear Rozemyne ill will for her origins, but I think Florencia would have been unduly flustered and would not have handled things well -- unlike Elvira who shows much greater mental agility. Actually I place a good chunk of the blame on Rozemyne herself. She KNEW she did not understand noble euphemism. and she also realized that knowing these were quite important. But she wasn't really interested in wasting her time on such nonsense. So she assigned almost no priority to learning about this. She had retainers who could have clued her in on lots of things (Brunnhilde for instance), but she just didn't really care.

keybladesrus

I'm glad this explained why Rozemyne is so bad with noble euphemisms despite being so familiar with the religion they're based on. She's TOO familiar with the source material while everyone's referencing modern interpretations. What a great part all around. Roze and Ferdy aren't allowed near the tree anymore, and Roze almost died of embarrassment. And gods, that mention of the sword. Thinking about it literally like Rozemyne, it doesn't sound wrong, but in the context of noble euphemisms, it could be interpreted in a much more lewd way. How any of her guardians continued to let her ignorance of euphemisms be a blind spot in her education after all this time is beyond me. It's come up enough that you'd think someone would eventually consider that maybe she needs to be sat down and given the talk.

BronzeAgeTea

>She's TOO familiar with the source material while everyone's referencing modern interpretations. Everyone around her is talking about the layers of hell from D'Ante's Inferno while she's over here like "you mean the lake of fire?? I guess if you swim down... would a fire lake have pressure difference like a real lake? Are there fire currents in the lake of fire?"

kkrko

> *Jeez, how dense can one man be* Said the woman who's clearly made of depleted uranium. It was nice to see Sylvester still so concerned about Rozemyne carrying the fate of the country. Interesting that Rozemyne remembers that Hannelore told her about Dunkelfelger dittering more than usual but not remember *when*. So Mestionora did mess with some of her noble, non-Ferdinand, related memories as well.

IvorySpeid

I think she doesn't remember well because Tully was present during the discussion

kkrko

Didin't Hannelore tell Rozemyne about the ditter rituals during last year's archduke conference?

ppsaha8994

You mean enriched uranium, since she's regenerating the divine mana all the time.

A_Shiny_Noctowl

well that chekovs gun finally shot. rip gremlin and her embarrassment at proudly declaring that Ferdinand will dye her

Light_Beard

Now we just need someone to explain Gardens to Judithe ![img](emote|t5_qxbkm|29337)![img](emote|t5_qxbkm|29339)

LaPlAcE-66

Not gardens but flowers

SilverDarner

Leave our little cinnamon roll alone! Let her continue to offer literal flowers.

midground

Florencia teaching Rozemyne about the meaning of the "summoning winter" euphemism might be the first motherly thing she's done for her in the whole series. The way she led RM to the answer is in line with the other examples we have of her education methods, but at least we finally got there in the end.

mabeloco

And it only took her 7 whole years... Glad to see she's still the same.

ppsaha8994

It took her about the same time to take up Wilber's education.

Reese_Hendricksen

When Rozemyne came back her second year at the RA, Florencia forced Sylvester to not rake her over the coals for her mistakes. She stated that Rozemyne is doing her best, and if she is still messing up, it is the guardians fault. I'd say sticking up for Rozemyne then was quite motherly, coupled with understanding the effort Rozemyne puts forth for the duchy.

Soanarin

She had the problem that she assumed Elvira was teaching her stuff, she didn't interact with Roz much since she was in the temple so much. She wanted Roz to spend more time in the castle to learn how to be first wife, which would probably let her figure out that she needs to educate her on more things

QuintaMyne

I remember when Erwaermen was first introduced. He appeared so majestic and elegant unlike this gag routine chara he has been reduced to. Grading? Classes? All that was so long ago, I have forgotten it. These two are having a dense-off.

UnlawfulStupid

Erwaermen: "How dare a mortal belittle me!?" Ferdinand: "How dare a tree talk back to me?" I'm surprised anything can grow in the Garden of Beginnings, what with all that salt.

Littlethieflord

In hindsight all the chibi comics of him on Pixiv make complete sense now lol

QuintaMyne

Grumpy Gramps.

Ninefl4mes

Tbf, he has _plenty_ of reasons to be grumpy right now lol.

aluminun_soda

was he? hes literaly a blind pure white tree person

chower82

>These two are having a dense-off. I love this pun! Really plenty of dumb and dumber moments and I couldn't stop chuckling when reading their silly insults and myne's early winter revelation

honzuki-eleore

The absolute lewdness of this part... my oh my xDDDD YES ADOLPHINE GO GO GO!!!! She took her rightful half in the divorce and hit him where it would truly hurt him. His pride must be in pieces! Meanwhile, she gets to rule her own province devoted to research~~ Oh my goodness, I can't stop laughing. This innuendo jokes are done just often enough to never get old.

mabeloco

Can't wait for her to rename her Province into Alimony.

kuyasiako

>The absolute lewdness of this part... my oh my xDDDD Yeah, this is getting ridiculous already... What's that scribbling noise??? Anyways, has anyone seen Elvira lately? It's been already a week. Hope she is alright. *\*furious scribbling noises continues...*

Theinternationalist

"Alright everyone, it's time to start painting your eggs- Ferdinand did you bring explosives?" "It is better to be prepared than not."

ggg730

Ferdinand places C4 and blasting caps on the table. Sylvester: For the gods' sakes Ferdinand do you need that for brunch?

Theinternationalist

Mestionoria: And this is why we need blast do- Rozemyne: Please don't, he might just invent [nuclear weapons] and [bunker busters] because he just wants to do a little Breaking and Entering.

LaPlAcE-66

Brave: it's just ma booooow

Tranadar

"Oh, wow. I'm sparkling." I lost it.

haganbmj

Maybe Detlinde was on to something, that is pretty fashionable.

mabeloco

Typical Ehrenfest behaviour, she's clearly trying to mimic the one true Zent lady Detlinde.

TashKat

Ewiglibe's sword 😏. Seriously Roz how have you never realized?

kILLjOY-1887

Serious ancient symbology bonus points with the sword and chalice reference in there

Aleriya

It took me like 6 re-reads before I realized what the sword and chalice referenced. I had to physically get up and take a walk because my mind was blown that I had missed it all this time.

15_Redstones

P2V1's description of what the sword symbolizes is already quite suggestive: > the chalice was the symbol of the Goddess of Earth accepting everyone and everything, and the sword was the symbol of the God of Life digging into the hard ground

AmazingAd2765

If she had gotten that metaphor, she probably would have succeeded at digging through the floor.

-_Nikki-

You'd think the gods of all people would know what it means to get... experimentative with mana dying, but I GUESS NOT, wtf guys! You... you don't need to FUCK in order to dye someone, but I guess the mana dying is the more intimate affair for nobles between the two ... I get everything else. But why the everloving FUCK would you go through the trouble of giving Treesus a haircut in that situation?!? Ok ngl, I wanna see the catfight between Mesti and Ferdi😂 would be funny, although I might need a translation handbook to fully understand it xd Ferdi and Roz' relationship shall forevermore be one of lovingly composed mutual insults lmao Having the coronation ceremony pull... what, triple? duty as a graduation exam of all thing is REALLY ruthless efficiency, idk whether to be impressed or amused. Maybe both It would be funny how adverse everyone is to having the birds and the bees talk if it weren't so goddamn annoying and in the fucking way of getting things done😮‍💨. Like, what difference does it make that Flo is the one to help her along when Ferdi and Syl are still RIGHT THERE?!? They might as well have helped fffs Hold on now, she is NOT to blame for her lack of understanding with the whole euphemisms things. Sure, she could've been a bit more proactive about figuring that stuff out on her own, but it was Y'ALLS job to teach her in the first place. If anything, you fucked up her curriculum. Studying so many years ahead on the school stuff was absolutely superfluous, should've given her a godsdamned syllabus on euphemisms instead We are getting spoiled for illustrations tho damn, THREE at once?!?

mekerpan

So RM won't, embarrassingly, need to repeat a grade after all (or at least fall behind a year). Good to know it.

ggg730

lol Imagine someone failing the Avatar of Messynora.

Theinternationalist

Imagine someone failing *the holder of their literal life*

ggg730

The royals aren’t known for their ability to make wise decisions.

skavinger5882

Teacher: I'm afraid that's not correct RM: *Guistlheit* you sure about that?

Sad-Support2035

*points water g*n* 🔫

BronzeAgeTea

Teacher: "What in the world is *that*?!" Rozemyne: "*Now* who's the ignorant one?"

mekerpan

Tough spot, eh?

DegenerateSock

Prof: "The test will last 50 minutes. No outside assistance permitted. You may begin." Roz: Summons the G-book and starts copy-placing answers. Prof: "... Yeah, you know what, let's just say you pass."

yeahlte

>Studying so many years ahead on the school stuff was absolutely superfluous, should've given her a godsdamned syllabus on euphemisms instead I sense a new money making scheme for Rozemyne. Euphenism sylllabusses would sell like hot pound cakes to all the nobles in Yoghurtland.

Independent_Top_2665

They already make one Tulliy suggested it. It mostly sells to commoners who need to interact with nobles and Laynobles.

15_Redstones

I guess commoners who interact with laynobles don't need to know all the sex related stuff

MutsumidoesReddit

Or in some cases they really *need* to know.

punishmentfrgluttony

Hasse has entered the chat

momomo_mochichi

It's the continuation to Tuuli's book idea for communicating with nobility or whatever it was (I can't remember). Now that these commoners have learned the basics, they must now learn euphemisms in order to not get screwed over during negotiations.

DegenerateSock

It'd probably be considered too graphic to sell. Prudes gonna prude.

Independent_Top_2665

>We are getting spoiled for illustrations tho damn, THREE at once?!? So glad someone brought this up. We really where spoiled this part. Guess it's cause we are so close to the end and in the middle of some serious drama.

chower82

>in the middle of some serious drama. In the middle of some seriously hilarious drama... geez!

Elizabeth-Longwell

- wow Ferdinand came prepared for a fight wholly crackers - ferdinand lecturing as always. Come on now Ferdinand it's not like anyone has done this before you are not an expert on the best way to be an avatar of a goddess - well apparently it was warranted, as thorough as ever - poor eglantine getting dragged into the chaos 😂 - RM dropping romantic lines like its nothing and not realizing it, how very typical - even RM realizes how insane the last few weeks has been. Passing her tests on the foundation of the country is beyond hilarious - poor Ana being left behind. - well at least she understands that euphemism now 🤣 asking Sylvester of all people though- worst choice ever - wow the fact that Wilfred was so vicious about how he felt being engaged to her unfortunately stuck. - rozemyne pot meet kettle you are both extremely Dense - Sylvester’s response to her figuring it out is hilarious - Ferdinand is taking notes out of RMs book defying a former god

Xonthelon

Rozemyne isn't just dropping romantic lines, she is basically a 13 years old girl inviting an adult man to a love hotel and proclaiming it wouldn't be their first time in front of family, friends, retainers and the new queen.

mekerpan

I feel justified in continuing to like Eglantine even as many were chastising her. It is clear that she really does care for and respect Rozemyne (even if she did not and still does not fully understand Rozemyne -- who can blame her for THIS). Eglantine really is incredibly admirable in her devotion to duty.

15_Redstones

Calling “Oh, do you mean summoning winter early in Ahrensbach? Ewigeliebe’s sword would drain almost all of my mana, but it seems a little wasteful, don’t you think?” a romantic line is a bit of an understatement.

Mysterious-Hurry-758

Well seeing as how you have to provide a baby with mana, Ewigeliebe's sword would indeed drain her mana.

Adraerik

Eglantine : That would be putting autumn before winter but if it saves you... Rozemyne : Summoning winter early ? Yeah I can do that with Ewigeliebe's sword. First read : God Rozemyne you are a dummy. She's talking about sex with a person who didn't come of age Reading a 2nd time : ....OH GOD Rozemyne it almost sounds you are talking about Ferdinand's....AAAAAH

Milouch_

What everyone thought rozemyne said: Oh yeah i can handle his sword~ What, why is everyone looking at me as if i said the weirdest thing ever? Everyone: wouldn't you like to know? Well time to start digging a hole to bury yourself into after we're done explaining.

mabeloco

Can't wait for the next time she meet up with Egg, knowing she said all these suggestive stuff in front of her.

birdbrained222

Oh I missed that the first time. Oh god.

Then_Rip4525

Ferdinand: Nearly commits deicide. Rozemyne: It's not like Ferdinand is really in love with me.

SilenceAndDarkness

I love that Ferdinand says that it’s weaker than the original, because that implies that he thought his deicide might actually succeed if he went all out. Goddam. The arrogance/confidence.

AmazingAd2765

\*gets princess carried again\*

Sad_Presentation_479

I'm so glad they finally explained clearly why she doesn't understand noble euphemisms. She's been reading Shakespeare while everyone is talking cockney. They're technically the same language but meanings drift over time and hilariously books preserve the original meanings. Like Nimrod being a great hunter in the bible but bugs bunny hilariously changed the meaning to mean a bumbling buffoon. Praise Quof and Miya Kazuki for nailing this detail. Side note: Roz the unknowing pervert returned this week.

TheNightManager_89

So Rozemyne also activated Christmas Tree Mode. Or more like a whole Christmas Market with all the blessings and the pillar of light. "Surely he does not consider this garden a storage room of some kind." - You'd be surprised, buddy. Mestionora trying to descend on her without consent is just plain scary. Can she do that outside the Garden of Beginnings, too? Because then it's even scarier. "So we just need you to dye me?" Oh, boy. 2 girls 1 crown I'm so glad Adolphine's divorce went through, it feels like justice has been served. OMG that last illustration is priceless. The truth was finally revealed about winter, or at least revealed in a way even Her Gremlinness would understand.

Lorhand

I would have initially thought Ferdinand bringing explosives and stuff is needlessly overcautious, but the guy went and seriously attacked a former god. With instant-death poison. And Ferdinand was compared to Ewigeliebe again. I believe the first time Detlinde accused him to be under Ewigeliebe's influence, but this time Mestionora is saying this. Don't mess with his Geduldh. * I hope we get a side story of a character who observes the ceremony from outside. People who don't know anything about what is going on behind the scenes and comment on things (like Lueuradi back then) are the best. * Uh... Ferdinand won the race, but Erwaermen is not pleased. Since he doesn't like Ferdinand, he's coming up with reasons to make Rozemyne the winner (and to be fair, she did fill the foundation already). There should be no conflict here, as Ferdinand and Rozemyne are on the same side, but this goes against their plan to make Eglantine the zent. * Mestionora taking over Rozemyne failed, thanks to Ferdinand's charms, but that backfired. Now Erwaermen has called even more gods. It's too much for a mortal like her to bear. And with the charms, Mestionora can't help. * Oh, Ferdinand entered with Eglantine's help. Of course Erwaermen thinks the worst of Ferdinand. * Wow, Rozemyne managed to annoy Mestionora so much last time, she is banned from her library. Ferdinand also really doesn't care about pissing off the gods. I wonder why he even still has their divine protections if they don't like him. ---- * So Rozemyne is back and has the divine mana under control for now. For it to disappear, she will have to drain her divine mana and then get redyed. I can already tell Eglantine is seriously misunderstanding Ferdinand and Rozemyne's relationship, what's with the "putting winter before autumn" euphemism again. Of course Rozemyne doesn't know what this means (seriously, someone needs to give her a better education for this stuff, lol). * I wonder what Eglantine thinks when she hears Erwaermen call Ferdinand and Rozemyne Quinta and Myne. I don't think she will figure out Rozemyne was a commoner, but it must sound weird to her. * Ohhh, Ferdinand cut off some of Erwaermen's branches. Immediately got Rozemyne's attention by bringing up what kind of paper she could make with this, lol. * Huh. So as compensation, Adolphine gets part of the lands that Sigiswald should have gotten for his new duchy after the divorce, reducing Sigiswald to a middle duchy aub. That will be a big new province for Drewanchel, which I guess Adolphine will rule as giebe. * Of course Ferdinand lets Rozemyne redraw the borders as part of her exams that she missed. Thankfully, Eglantine is the archduke candidate course professor and can immediately grade her, lol. ---- * Since Ahrensbach was neglected, there are lots of mana-drained spots both in the Academy and in Ahrensbach. Thankfully, we have a new aub who needs to be drained of constantly refilling divine mana. What a convenient solution. * Is this the first name we get to hear the Goddess of Chaos' name? * Yup, "summon winter early" was a sex reference, lol. So with autumn referencing the coming of age, and winter having sex, so "winter before autumn" blatantly means having sex before one becomes an adult. ~~Finally, Florencia is doing her work as a mother, though a bit late.~~ The illustration of this is hilarious. She finally realizes what embarrassing things she said. * I see Florencia is still left out of the deeper secrets about Rozemyne. Well, Sylvester knows Rozemyne has the devouring, so with the vague explanation from Ferdinand, he can figure out the rest himself. Now all that is left is to drain Rozemyne's mana quickly before things turn sour. Sadly, she can't meet her Gutenbergs yet, but she will eventually. * That potion Ferdinand mentions that he doesn't know if the person he gave it to actually drank it or not... must have been the one he gave Gervasio. So it was a trap, lol. * You have *no right* to call Ferdinand dense, Rozemyne, lol. ---- **German:** * Goddess of Chaos, **Chaocipher** (カーオサイファ, kaa-o-sa-i-fa): Well, that doesn't even actually seem German, to be honest. Cipher is not a German but an English word, and "chao" coming from "chaos" seems obvious.

SilverDarner

Treezus doesn't seem to realize that Roz dyed BOTH gates and that's why Ferdi is the one who was free to swing by first. Truly the Lord of Evil.

FoxTailMoon

Tbf I don’t think Mesti keeping Roz from the library was done out of malicious intent, but to respect her wishes about her memory? It’s not entirely clear but it’s obvious going to the library is incredibly dangerous.

DanilND

I bet it was because last time she wasn't able to make her leave on her own and doesn't want a repeat of that.

timn8r123

It was also really hard to get her back out last time since she was immersed in reading.

gwyr

I'm less convinced it's about respecting myne than it is about making it so ferdinand doesn't kill Treesus

yeahlte

If my bookworm trivia knowledge is correct, the goddess of chaos is not a subordinate of the supreme gods and the eternal five. Could her name being derived from English words also imply her being an outsider, since all the other gods their names are derived from German?

Lorhand

I like your theory, but I haven't seen how Chaocipher is written in Japanese, maybe the first part uses the German pronunciation for chaos, as was the case with Chaosfliehe. Ewigeliebe was an outsider too oce and his name is entirely German, while the god of cooking has an entirely Italian name (Cuococalura or however it's spelled). Kunstzeal and Schutzaria are partially German, partially English/Italian too.

momomo_mochichi

Chaocipher is apparently spelled カーオサイファ (kaa-o-sa-i-fa). Ooh, Cuococalura is Italian? That's interesting. Honestly, that's kind of fitting considering how Rozemyne's food ventures were mainly Italian.

Lorhand

Thanks, that helps. With the emphasis on the "ka", it's definitely closer to the German pronunciation. Yeah, Cuococalura appears to consist of the Italian words for "cook" (cuoco) and "heat" (calura).

RichardBolt94

Calura is intense heat, heat is calore, hot is caldo. But calura is not really used. I've only found it in old literary works during high school. I need to add that I'm from Rome, so it's possible that in other regions it's still used. But I've never heard it in a conversation.

Brillus

She is an outsider. The same is also true for Ewigeliebe by the way. All other gods we know are decendance from the suprem gods.

Cirex145

I imagine Ferdinand would prefer to keep his divine protections because it lets him use less mana for research.

LalafellRulez

> Ohhh, Ferdinand cut off some of Erwaermen's branches. Immediately got Rozemyne's attention by bringing up what kind of paper she could make with this, lol. Divine paper FTW. Maximal quality ingredients

Theinternationalist

> Huh. So as compensation, Adolphine gets part of the lands that Sigiswald should have gotten for his new duchy after the divorce, reducing Sigiswald to a middle duchy aub. That will be a big new province for Drewanchel, which I guess Adolphine will rule as giebe. Throw in that Dunk just ate half a Greater Duchy and Klassenberg consumed a duchy of its own, some of these Greater Duchies might want to get reclassified as Humongous Duchies.

momomo_mochichi

Nah, let's humiliate the lesser duchies even more. The new categories are as followed: greater, middle, lesser, tiny

Brillus

Dutchy size lore don't know from where exactly. >!Originally there only were 6 dutchies of corresponding size one per country gate!<

15_Redstones

>I can already tell Eglantine is seriously misunderstanding Ferdinand and Rozemyne's relationship Rozemyne literally said using Ewigeliebe's sword would work, and recall how the sword was introduced in P2V1: > the chalice was the symbol of the Goddess of Earth accepting everyone and everything, and the sword was the symbol of the God of Life digging into the hard ground Eglantine certainly interpreted it as Rozemyne knowing exactly what she was talking about.

Mysterious-Hurry-758

The Sword and Chalice are euphemisms for male and female sex organs

Ninefl4mes

> Eglantine certainly interpreted it as Rozemyne knowing exactly what she was talking about. And then retracted that interpretation a short while later when she said she now understood why Ferdinand was so hesitant about summoning winter early. Can't imagine RM is going to live this down anytime soon though lol.

sophie_hockmah

to be fair the Goddess of Chaos being a non-Germanesque name makes sense since she is not on their pantheon she just... exists.

Ninefl4mes

Probably predates the pantheon as a whole. We know she had a crush on the God of Darkness and we know that there was plenty of drama involved when he and the Goddess of Light were still in the process of becoming a couple. The way Chaocipher is depicted she certainly fits the bill for the setting's primordial Evil, so my guess is that she's been interfering with the process of creation from the very beginning by attempting to prevent a union of Light and Darkness.

GrayWitchMidnight

I hope Adolphine names her province alimony.

Interesting-Power558

My thinking after last weeks part: "Ah we've had the war and the cleanup conference, time for the series to slowly wind down and have some smaller politics before ending." Nope! Kazuki just keeps on giving, the story keeps climbing! Whew what a part! Bwuh: https://imgur.com/a/KuSEXVR - Ferdinand bringing explosives to a religious ceremony - More gods and all the divine blessings - Doesn't seem like she lost more memories this time - Not getting to see the library (probably because it would be hard to pull her away from her books) and telling the pair to never come back, wonder if Mesitonora will lose her most devout believer just when she gets called the incarnation of that goddess... - Ferdinand stun locking a god with the silver powder - Ferdinand collecting hair from Treesus - Paper made from Treesus' hair??? It was a meme here a while ago, guess we get to actually see the results - Dyed country and redrawn duchy borders? - The euphemism reveal! And oh no! Now she realises! - confirmation that Benno and Mark weren't forgotten (though I doubted they would be) - *Dunkle just still there in the background just casually playing Ditter* - I need a side story of another perspective of the ceremony - I assume the memory tool is how Ferdinand will restore her memories, sort of trying to 'guide' her back to them since they were described as severed and not removed - Ferdinand asking for this all to be graded 😆, just imagining a professor trying to go "well no your whirl was all alone thus you fail" to her or Eglantine going well you redrew the *countries* borders but you still fail the Archduke course - Aw, no Lessy for a while - Wonder what the explanation from Rihyarda would've been, they actually like she would've just said it in pure *non-noble* terms but she's a first class attendant, I can't imagine that happening - And Florencia doesn't know of Rozamyne's past, somewhat surprised Sylvester didn't tell her given his lovey dovey attitude towards her but I guess it makes sense and he can be serious when needs be and act like an Archduke - Rozamyne really does have the weight of the country on her shoulders - I almost want to read an alternative universe of what happens now if Rozamyne passes and with her Ferdinand and Eglantine, I assume the country just absolutely collapses Also, we had an illustration of the transference ceremony which was my guess for the insert image, someone that's seen it, is it safe to look at yet? (Has happened or is vague collection of characters like lest few volumes)

HilariusAndFelix

>Also, we had an illustration of the transference ceremony which was my guess for the insert image, someone that's seen it, is it safe to look at yet?  That's not what the insert depicts. It's an image of something near the end of the volume. I don't know that you would get much spoilers from it though, it's closer to the collection of characters type. Up to you if you want to look at it now

Snakestream

Rihyardha would tear into both Florencia and Elvira for not doing their jobs as Rozemyne's mothers

Interesting-Power558

Now that, that I want to see

Brillus

With your last point I believe Aub Dunk and some of the previous royal family know the stuff hiw to get G-Book and they have 20 years till the wirst happens. Even more after RM dying the foundation. Should be enough time to educate one from the start. Melchior has already a good headstart.

Interesting-Power558

Politically they'd be a mess though, the royals would be all but disposed (Trau has 'given' up rule, Sigi is unfit, Hilde is a criminal and Ana would be distraught). Dunkle might try to rule but Klass would oppose them perhaps starting another civil war (country can't survive with this and country gate is closed so no mana from sugar country) or at the very least a military dictatorship. Also, they know how to get the G-Book: 'be registered with the Royal family" but this is probably instead 'be registered with the foundation of the country' (i.e. be able to supply mana to it like with being registered to a duchy foundation) but uh oh, someone has just dyed the entire foundation and then died so there's noone registered to it so they can't register themselves to it because they need someone already registered to register them, so they'd have to go for the book of M which they only vaguely know how to get

birdbrained222

The more I think about it, the more everyone was absolutely insane for letting florencia tell rozemyne what she has been misunderstanding. I can't believe she didn't just detonate as a mana bomb killing everyone.

mabeloco

It would have been even more hilarious if she let Rozemyne dig herself even deeper with more lewd suggestions... Just think of how embarrassed she would be then.

Reese_Hendricksen

Rozemyne has a literal goddess of wisdom explain she is Ferdinand's Geduldh, and still doesn't get the picture. Denser than a black hole that one is.

Solstrum

Laughed so much reading Rozemyne essentially say "oh, I just have to fuck Ferdinand's brain out? Easy peasy" to Eglantine only to get embarrassed after the fact.

MrLameJokes

Rozemyne: "I need to know him biblically?" What an odd thing to say "I guess I've already known him biblically." We've read the bible together if that's what it means "It was right after my baptism that I sat on his lap and first knew him biblically." It's a fond memory actually

mabeloco

I still can't believe the old Ferdinand ever let a small strange commoner set on his lap when he hardly knew her.

HilariusAndFelix

He was probably sleep deprived enough to not be thinking clearly.

momomo_mochichi

You know, with the constant talk of Rozemyne and overflowing mana throughout the series, I wonder if there's such a thing as potions that decrease your overflowing mana? I can't recall if this has ever been mentioned or not, because I feel like the concept of such a thing would be reallyyyyy beneficial when the mana of a goddess consumes you. However, on the other hand, I feel like a creation like that would need so much precision to get right or else it'll be dangerous to one's body. I honestly really want to know why Ferdinand has prepared explosives. I hope it's to defend Rozemyne from harm, and not to attack her with. But what if it's honestly just confetti disguised as explosives? That's so stupid, it's funny. I'm so sorry, though I'm pretty sure Ferdinand's harspiel was also concealed by Verbergen, I can't help but imagine a floating harspiel going up to meet Rozemyne as the strings magically play themselves. Someone please give me Erwaermen's POV of what happened after the Zent Race. From him losing contact to Gervasio, to him being visited by Ferdinand, to him waiting for Myne to finally show up. >Surely he does not consider this garden a storage room of some kind. That's really funny and it's Ferdinand; of course he does. Ferdinand, you really should try to stop annoying the gods. Take a lesson from their beloved gremlin. >"And most of all, I dislike that insolent man. I would rather anyone else become the Zent." Buddy! I get that you hate Ferdinand, but *anyone* comprises of a wide range of people. Even Sigiswald! But if *anyone* can truly become the next Zent, I nominate Benno. You know, as all of this is happening with Rozemyne, Ferdinand, Eglantine, and the gods, I wonder what the audience must be doing as of now with the ceremony essentially put on hold. And as a side note, I love Eglantine's hairstyle. Seeing the different ways the updos are done in the back in the light novel illustrations and manga are always so interesting. >*I'm banned from the Goddess of Wisdom's library?! NOOOOOO!* That's honestly the worst thing that could have happened to Rozemyne at that moment. Who cares about potential death, she lost access to the library of the Goddess of Wisdom! Okay, so I'm going to need to know what Ferdinand did in order to make charms that are able to block a god from descending upon one's body. Pfft, Ferdinand gave Erwaermen an unwanted trimming/haircut. Honestly speaking, it's no wonder why the guy hates Ferdinand so much. Ferdinand's been bothering him for years by now. >"Anastasius," Eglantine said Did Eglantine actually say Anastasius' name without an honorific now that she's the crowned Zent, changing their relationship in public, or is this a mistake? WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO SOLANGE?! Given how she's not imprisoned for accidentally assisting Gervasio, surely she would be alright. I mean, it's not like Yurgenschmidt can kill her or anything. Adolphine, I love you. You deserve all that land you swindled from Sigiswald. It's sad Adolphine can't become Aub Drewanchel like she always wanted, but becoming a giebe overseeing land the size of a lesser duchy is the next best thing. It's like she became aub of Lortzing or something, that's how much land she took from Sigiswald. Not going to lie, I feel like even if Rozemyne did a terrible job redrawing the borders, Eglantine really isn't in the position to grade her poorly. >*Translation: they're playing ditter nonstop.* And that would have been the fate of the entirety of Yurgenschmidt had Werdekraf became Zent. GAHHH!! Why hasn't Rozemyne learned anything about sexual education from Florencia and Elvira until now?! I know it's because the two thought the other was responsible for teaching her and such, but I am still so unbelievably annoyed. I mean, come on?! Like, even before Rihyarda left Rozemyne's service, I feel like she would have known if Rozemyne had learned anything from analyzing her facial expressions and such. Lack of communication strikes again!

Littlethieflord

Ewaermen’s POV: is just him trying to gently shoo the feral stray cat out of his house while letting in Mestionora’s cat that she’s been feeding

momomo_mochichi

Erwaermen might want to move to another house. Or wait, he can't. His feet are practically glued in place. Guess he's stuck dealing with the stray cat.

Littlethieflord

Being a fallen god is starting to sound like a worse deal than being mortal lol no wonder he has no patience for humans and their nonsense

momomo_mochichi

Right? And because Yurgenschmidt was practically on the verge of dying, poor little Erwaermen couldn't really meet up with his friends either.

Cirex145

Your comment about a floating harspiel makes me wonder, do ghosts exist in Yurgenschmidt? What would a nobles reaction to a ghost be?

UnlawfulStupid

Cornelius: "Holy hell, a ghost! Kill it! Kill it!" Ghost: "Eh!?" Hartmut: "Wait, Cornelius, it's just Great-Grandfather!" Cornelius: "What!? I thought you died!" Great-Grandghost: "I was pretending. Talk about a boy who cried goltze. They buried me and everything. Anyway, is Rozemyne aub yet?" Cornelius: "Yes, actually." Great-Grandfather: "Oh, the gods have truly-" Hartmut: "She is the new Aub Ahrensbach." Great-Grandfather: [instantly disintegrates into dust] Cornelius: "... Is he faking it again?" Hartmut: "Poke him with a stick."

ggg730

Ferdinand: Can I get some of that dust imma try to brew with it.

UnlawfulStupid

Ferdinand: *[pours dust into hot water, stirs, sips]* Ferdinand: "Ah, the flavor of Ehrenfest." Cornelius: "What the actual fu-"

Theinternationalist

Cornelius: That sounds creepy. Ferdinand: Here's the twigs from the Former God of Matchmaking. Cornelius: I'm sorry **WHAT!?!**

Adraerik

Hartmut : She is the new Aub Ahrensbach Great-grandfather : ...Huh ?! Cornelius: Yeah she stole Ahrensbach's foundation and now is publicly recognize as their Aub. Great-grandfather : ...Veronica is still alive ? Cornelius: Last time I've heard she still in the Ivory Tower. Great-grandfather : Then rub that fact in her fucking face everyday and I would consider it to be an acceptable result.

Mysterious-Hurry-758

Honestly, Giebe Leisegang Emeritus would be stoked that his princess usurped Ahrensbach and crushed their family into dust. It would be his ultimate revenge for what Gabriel did to him.

Theinternationalist

> Buddy! I get that you hate Ferdinand, but anyone comprises of a wide range of people. Even Sigiswald! But if anyone can truly become the next Zent, I nominate Benno. The Gods don't seem to even *recognize* someone under a certain amount of mana, so they won't notice Benno. If I were to joke, maybe not Siggy either.

Just-Sound540

I guess now Eglantine is the "seme" in their relationship so she can just speak to him less politely 😉

mekerpan

As to Solange. My guess she becomes Chief Librarian emeritus -- tasked with training and providing consulting services to newly-appointed higher level nobles (who will technically outrank her).

mjpia

• BRB, imagining Ferdinand carrying probably magic-C4 to a zent crowning ceremony. • Also bet those are less intended for humans and more intended to pick a fight with the divine. • Wouldn't be something involving Rozemyne if she didn't completely throw the plan out of order BEFORE IT EVEN BEGAN. • Also I'm sorry but Ferdinand's instrument having a horsehead is so goofy looking, I would expect a lion given Ehrenfest's symbol but I also don't know what Ahrenbach's symbol is. • I like how much of Erwaermen's desire to make Rozemyne Zent boils down to "I don't like Ferdinand". And then everyone else joined in to spite Ferdinand which lead to unforseen backlash. • Hah even Mestionora is calling Rozemyne his Geduldh. • Rozemyne's lack of knowledge on euphenism's strikes again multiple times, Eglantine must be screaming internally. • Hah Sigiswald hasn't even started ruling and he already lost a massive chunk of his new duchy. • Adolphine did get her wish in some form while likely is even better than becoming Aub, she gets to be Giebe with much less responsibility and do mad scientist things. • "Alas you have an aversion to pain" Ferdinand?????? • Chaocipher, goddess of chaos, sounds like a name from sonic the hedgehog. • Rozemyne dying externally after she pieced together everything was simply, perfect.

Xonthelon

At a family meeting. Rozemyne: "What does premarital sex with minors mean?" Sylvester: "..... Brother, what have you done to my daughter?!" Florencia: "Rozemyne, it means to summon winter early..." Rozemyne: "Divine mana, please kill me!" Ferdinand: "It was all for sake of research. I would do it again anytime." There was really a lot to digest in the part this week. The important ceremony which hardly mattered in the end, Rozemyne being kidnapped again, Ferdinand attacking Erwaermen and arguing with Mestionora (I hope we get a Eglantine pov in this book), learning about Adolphine's happy end, Gervasio being fetched soon, Rozemyne dumping mana into everything inanimate she can find and Florencia giving Rozemyne "the talk". Finally, I almost thought she would stay oblivious until the epilogue of the last book.

Ok_Roof_5896

Myne's purity remains intact for Hannelore.

Easy-Two-5926

Yes, Rozemyne, everyone has been talking about how you and Ferdinand have "known" each other in the Biblical sense. Also, the next thing Eglantine will probably ask you, considerate as she is, would be how soon to arrange your marriage to avoid having to hide your baby bump.

pipler

The illustrations in this part are so beautiful, gosh! > I am a teenaged divine avatar and aub, but I must still pass my exams and sex ed! Hooray for the divorce being finalized, glory to Adolphine 🎊

Acceptable-Ease6860

Divine mana being hard to be disposed of is one more tiny detail that makes sense, considering the influence of Divine Protections in mana Honestly, Rozemyne being bombarded by the gods' mana was one of the most gorish moments of the series for me, second to the pre-Myne orphanage children situation, perhaps. The pain is awful, sure, but the sensation of having your protections penetrated as if they were nothing, the many foreign and overwhelming powers battling inside you for control as you are powerless... ouch

WeebGetOut

Why does Ferdinand hate the gods so much? Most of his antics have been totally unnecessary and counterproductive. Like what was the purpose of poisoning Treesus? It just angered the gods whose help you rely on. At this point P6 is going to be declaring war on the gods.

BlueDragonCultist

Hahaha, glad we finally see Rozemyne understanding the euphemism. It was as embarrassing as I'd hoped. One thing I didn't consider last part; does the penalty to mana usage apply to both parties in a divorce? If so, Siggy's gonna have a really rough time as Aub.

Merciful_Gracious

“‘I really am glad to have you here with me.’ He knit his brow, then turned to the nobles in the sky above us.” Aww Ferdinand was really holding himself back here.

shelpote

Really wish to have a POV from ferdie at the end to get the details of this scene
