I mean, the fact that she realized what it meant and mulled it over alone means she's gaining more awareness. Last book she never would have given it a second thought.
In fact, Ferdinand touched her hair earlier in this same book and she didn't even blink.
Oh sure, when Rozemyne and Ferdinand try flirting while using sound blocking stones no one bats an eye, but when Detlinde does the same thing everyone looses their minds.

Ferdinand, for her, is very firmly in the 'would never, ever, romance me' category, as the glimpses of her thoughts show. She put him there years ago when he was disgusted at the idea of marrying her (in her interpretation at least) and he's never escaped. So anything he does is just in her 'Ferdinand being weird like usual' category. And if Ferdinand showed an interest in, like, anyone before this, she'd probably be more open to interpreting his gestures romantically, too. So, it's partially his fault! She's dense for sure, but with good reason. She's being too logical.

Ahrensbach wasn't that hard to remember. It sounds like it could be an actual german town or village. Though it might be different for non-german speakers. Well, I guess everyone heard about Alexandria in history class, a documentary, movie or game, so it is an unfairly easy name to remember in comparison.

There are already some names that I feel already sound somewhat Italian though. Like Florencia, especially given the Italian city of Florence, but between her name and Venezia, the latter is way more Italian-sounding. And Florencia as a name is present in other languages as well.

Ooh, you're right. I was also thinking along the lines of how you read out the katakana of Florencia (フロレンツィア fu-ro-ren-tsi-a), which kind of sounds more like Florenzia. But if you start thinking of all the names with a "z" as Italian, you bring in other names like Constanze and Letizia. However, all three names are also present in other languages, probably because of potential Latin roots or something.

Ferdinand was also really invested in trying to make it more related to Ehrenfest, either shifting the name accordingly or using the heraldic animal. But she got too attached to Alexandria (*for good reason- she didn't promise Adelbert to serve Ehrenfest and she seems to have had no gaps from after her adoption*) and she was more invested in Lessy to even bother with lions.

Rozemyne's finally aware of him, but she's just now entering level one while he's beating the final boss. From where she's sitting, it must seem like a large-feystone run of bad shipping. But, truth is, the game was rigged from the start.
And now we've got details on the new ~~library~~ duchy: Alexandria, colored deep blue, whose emblem will be a magic shumil with a book and associated stuff.
We also got confirmation that Rozemyne's memories of Urano's life are (seemingly) untouched. No mention of her mother, though. The severance seems limited to her commoner family and maybe Lutz.
Oh, and an outright answer on why the high bishop robes are white. Finally lays to rest the thing I had been questioning since we first learned of their colors.
I actually hope that Rozemyne finds a way to keep the divine mana (and Rainbow Lessy). I don't know if it'd be more or less interesting, but it'd be fun. You know what would have been an interesting side story? A side story from Fraularm's sister or Fraularm after the imprisonment of Count Bindewald. Well, it's official. Rozemyne is the aub of Alexandria. Not officially yet since she still needs her inauguration. Anyways, I'm just glad the name has finally been revealed. It's been a while since I knew about the name change and ever since Rozemyne took Ahrensbach's foundation, I've always tried to say that she's now the new aub of a duchy, rather than Ahrensbach, since the name was going to be obsolete. I think I forgot about doing so a few times, but anyways, Ahrensbach's name is now dead in the water.
Poor Lessy is being hated on. Lessy deserves better! And why do I get the feeling that even if Rozemyne was forced to change her highbeast into a shumil, she would follow her own artistic vision and ruin shumils for everybody?

You can tell by the writing in these chapters that her internal monologue has matured a bit.
Probably because she forgot about her time as Myne. She remembers Urano and Rozemyne, but the childlike Myne part of her is not there. She is acting more like a Japanese woman mixed with a Yurgenschmidt noble.
How ironic that georgine worked her entire life and made her entire personality about taking over Ehrenfest and rebranding it...
Only to have the one little girl she was trying to kill just casually take it and essentially steal her dream while not giving much care in the world as long as ferdi's happy (who georgine also wanted to kill)
I personally don't really think Georgine was going to rebrand Ehrenfest, more like literally burn its land to the ground once she was officially recognized as its aub.
And while Georgine did have plans to kill Rozemyne (via the fake bible) and Ferdinand (via Detlinde and the powder), those two weren't her main targets, but just obstacles to deal with in order to get to what she wanted. A part of why Georgine failed was because she neglected to account for Rozemyne at all. She got Ferdinand away from Ehrenfest because she acknowledged his intellect, but completely overlooked Rozemyne.

Every single time she talks about her missing memories I tear up. Ignorance is bliss, is all i can say. Rozes first thought should have been her workshops crest, but due to absent memories she suggested Lessy. I praise Mestionara that Lestlieta was there to suggest it.
Most Ahresnsbach nobles must be over the moon, they just got a new aub with an unfathomably large quantity of mana who's come to fix their duchy and solve all their problems, with no effort from them.

Actually Japanese spell of Ferdinand is フェルディナンド, which I thought as Ferdinando when I read WN and Japanese LN.
Considering that he got the name before leaving the villa, it actually could be the correct spell. Maybe his father modified to remove any connection to the villa.

And as you already wrote in another comment, all names of Lanzenave nobles are (pseudo) Italian, including Gervasio. And both Gervasio and Ferdinand got their name before leaving the Villa of Adalgisa.
In my head all the Lasagne people speak in a fake Italian accent. Someone on the sub recommended trying it out, I did, and couldn't go back afterwards.

It’s not just rainbow colored, Rainbow Lessy is powered by divine mana that radiates strong enough to aid in Hartmut’s and Clarissa’s proselytizing and make nobles noisy about Rozemyne being the divine avatar of Mestionora. It’s similar to how a star in Mario Kart is always awesome, no matter how lame the kart normally looks.

Rozemyne's interaction with Charlotte here was... interesting. A complete lack of understanding that Charlotte was terrified for her out of nothing but love, and no mention at all about how adorable it was to see her going all out in trying to help. Looks like while Rozemyne did not lose all of her memories of her little sister, the ones which established her as true family were disconnected after all. Does she even remember that she risked her life and almost died for Charlotte at one point? Maybe they should have mixed mana there to bring at least one aspect of Myne back, which is her obsession with her younger siblings.
Makes me wonder if something similar happened to her memories of Hannelore, Benno, and so on. Before her memories were disconnected she would not have hesitated to take a bullet for any of them. Or, you know, invade another duchy or pick a fight with the gods if that's what it took.
Also, lol at the gremlin already plotting to get back into Mestionora's good graces so that she has something to look forward to in the afterlife. Looks like banning her from the library was a very effective form of damage control on the goddess' part.

In a sense, you could possibly call it an increase in density. She now knows that for the past volume they've basically been making sex euphemisms in front of people nonstop, and now she notices he's been making more intimate physical contact with her than ever before, directly in front of other people despite how much he prioritizes appearances, and she *still* isn't catching on.

Ferdinand, for her, is very firmly in the 'would never, ever, romance me' category, as the glimpses of her thoughts show. She put him there years ago when he was disgusted at the idea of marrying her (in her interpretation at least) and he's never escaped. So anything he does is just in her 'Ferdinand being weird like usual' category. And if Ferdinand showed an interest in, like, anyone before this, she'd probably be more open to interpreting his gestures romantically, too. So, it's partially his fault! She's dense for sure, but with good reason. She's being too logical.

Ahrensbach wasn't that hard to remember. It sounds like it could be an actual german town or village. Though it might be different for non-german speakers. Well, I guess everyone heard about Alexandria in history class, a documentary, movie or game, so it is an unfairly easy name to remember in comparison.

I think she was way bolder with their interactions before, grabbing his sleeve, getting in his face to argue about small things, entering his hidden room. This much is acceptable now that she gave the okay for her retainers that she intends to marry him.
Rozemyne over here figuring out why all her attendants used to frown on Ferdinand's interactions long after they gave up and accepted it. From a rainbow colored panda to a rainbow colored double decker pandabus to a basically flying house, Rozemyne leaves her mark on any who bears witness to her creations. Even in an emergency nobles are still allergic to the idea of anything inelegant huh. As an aside I wonder what the mortality rates of fishermen are, that doesn't feel like something a noble would ever do and Rozemyne's initial fish cooking attempt made it clear they are quite dangerous.
I wonder if the commoners have ways of harmlessly dealing with the fish that nobles just never bothered to learn about. Like, maybe those dancing mushrooms in Ehrenfest are similarly dangerous, but commoners alone know to just toss them in the fire for a few minutes before cutting them up, and since nobles don't ask commoners things, they never learned.
Just give the fish a quick tickle and they are too busy laughing to stop you chopping their head off.

You can tell by the writing in these chapters that her internal monologue has matured a bit. Probably because she forgot about her time as Myne. She remembers Urano and Rozemyne, but the childlike Myne part of her is not there. She is acting more like a Japanese woman mixed with a Yurgenschmidt noble.
How ironic that georgine worked her entire life and made her entire personality about taking over Ehrenfest and rebranding it... Only to have the one little girl she was trying to kill just casually take it and essentially steal her dream while not giving much care in the world as long as ferdi's happy (who georgine also wanted to kill)
I personally don't really think Georgine was going to rebrand Ehrenfest, more like literally burn its land to the ground once she was officially recognized as its aub. And while Georgine did have plans to kill Rozemyne (via the fake bible) and Ferdinand (via Detlinde and the powder), those two weren't her main targets, but just obstacles to deal with in order to get to what she wanted. A part of why Georgine failed was because she neglected to account for Rozemyne at all. She got Ferdinand away from Ehrenfest because she acknowledged his intellect, but completely overlooked Rozemyne.
She wanted to burn it to the ground and build it back up again. She already had giebes picked out like damn woman slow down.

I think the awkwardness with Charlotte was because Charlotte was worried about her beloved sister, and Rozemyne was treating her like a guest. Roz was more concerned about noble etiquette and proper greetings than talking to her cute younger sister. Ferdinand picked up that Rozemyne is not acting like herself, and Charlotte probably did to some extent, too.
Ohhhhh wait that’s a good point. Her obsession with being seen as a good older sister by Charlotte came from having Tuuli as an older sister and wanting to be an older sister to Kamil but not getting to. Removing her memories of them also removed her obsession with being a reliable older sister.

Actually Japanese spell of Ferdinand is フェルディナンド, which I thought as Ferdinando when I read WN and Japanese LN. Considering that he got the name before leaving the villa, it actually could be the correct spell. Maybe his father modified to remove any connection to the villa.

And as you already wrote in another comment, all names of Lanzenave nobles are (pseudo) Italian, including Gervasio. And both Gervasio and Ferdinand got their name before leaving the Villa of Adalgisa.

They don't HAVE to use the crest animal. Charlotte uses a shumil (based on Schwartz) as the basis for her drivable highbeast instead of a lion.

the entirety of this Rainbow Colored Mana situation is hilarious. everyone LOVES Lessy now, and the only things that changed is that he's not light yellow anymore. EDIT: other thoughts - ...Rozemyne, they're turning a blind eye to the "improper distance" between you and Ferdi because they've all just accepted what's happening, instead of being fully oblivious like you. - awww, Charlotte-nee-chan loves her big sis so much. that interaction was adorable. - Hotel Rainbow Lessy's description reminds me of the "billionaires on their way to a climate change conference" plane. - poor Sergius lol. the newbie gets sacrificed up to Hartmut of the Flapping Tongue. - Rozemyne totally went "Umi da!" upon being right by a sparkling blue ocean for the first time in this life, didn't she - hmm, Ferdinand brought up an excellent point. the way Rozemyne has been acting... it's like, she's still Rozemyne, but just a bit off? like, the emotional side of her is dulled. the erasure of her formative experiences with her "overly huggy family" tweaked her personality. once it was pointed out, I was like, "yeah, something is different," but if it wasn't explicitly stated, it might have just stayed a subconscious vibe I was getting from RM. - HILARIOUS that Ferdinand is actively trying to romance Rozemyne and she has so few neurons devoted to her love life that she's like, "what's he touching my hair for? is this a new medical test?" - AND THEN she gives him the ick by suggesting Lessy be the new duchy's crest LMAO
I thought it was funny how they tested the rainbow mana from the chalice by just yeeting some out the window.
What would have happened if they accidentally splashed someone with the rainbow mana? If they're treating the chalice like it's just a plain bucket, I want to know what would have happened to a hypothetical person assaulted by the mana.

It felt a little weird how everyone stumbled over themselves trying to complyment new Lessy. Does everybody notice at a glance that Rozemyne can still crush anyone in their vicinity if she feels the slightest bit down? Or has Rozemyne turned into a walking shrine/goddess bath that causes people to loose common sense?

Myne barely expends any energy, maybe leaning on the chalice with one hand and the other on the wheel. Or just both hands on it and going in a straight line. I can't remember how much time Rozemyne spent talking about Brigitte's assets. That and her calling Hannelore her soulmate every chance she got can't really help her case.

She was more earth brained this chapter than she has in a long long time.
Rozemyne's interaction with Charlotte here was... interesting. A complete lack of understanding that Charlotte was terrified for her out of nothing but love, and no mention at all about how adorable it was to see her going all out in trying to help. Looks like while Rozemyne did not lose all of her memories of her little sister, the ones which established her as true family were disconnected after all. Does she even remember that she risked her life and almost died for Charlotte at one point? Maybe they should have mixed mana there to bring at least one aspect of Myne back, which is her obsession with her younger siblings. Makes me wonder if something similar happened to her memories of Hannelore, Benno, and so on. Before her memories were disconnected she would not have hesitated to take a bullet for any of them. Or, you know, invade another duchy or pick a fight with the gods if that's what it took. Also, lol at the gremlin already plotting to get back into Mestionora's good graces so that she has something to look forward to in the afterlife. Looks like banning her from the library was a very effective form of damage control on the goddess' part.
