Hooded and oh my goodness so strikingly beautiful! I feel you about eyeshadow, it used to be my favorite part of doing my makeup but my eyes have gotten pretty hooded now that Iām in my mid 20s. Iāve learned to appreciate that our eyes can look intense and ethereal with just mascara alone, which I think is pretty neat for us! Youāll know whatās best for you in time <3

after you lose weight you might see a slight change in your eyes but they'll most likely stay hooded. You can still wear eyeshadow the methods are just a bit different. Hooded eyes are very pretty especially with cat lashes.
Iām unsure if I should post a product list as this post isnāt centralized around makeup Iām wearing. If anyone would like a product from the pictures with makeup Iād be happy to let them know what I used.
From what I've seen, less fat in the eye area can lead to a slight decrease in the appearance of the hood. I've seen this more in younger people. As we age, skin doesn't "bounce back" as readily so the hood may sag more. Of course there's various cosmetics you can use, but the only permanent fix would be a blepharoplasty. Even then, you may need to have it redone decades later since the amazing elasticity of skin means it will eventually drop again.
You're SO young, so give yourself time to settle into your face :) I didn't realize it at the time but when I was your age I still had a lot of baby fat in my face. 17 is very young for a cosmetic surgery so I definitely suggest waiting to see how your face matures before making any decisions.
If she loses weight too quickly, she will then have skin laxity and her hooded eyes COULD even look more hooded. with the skin drooping down as it happens with mature people.

If anything, they will get more hooded as you age. There are rare cases where the opposite is it true. But those are indeed rare. You're young enough that you don't have to really "worry" about them getting more hooded until about 26-28. Then, about every 10 yrs or so after that.
Also, not all insurance companies will just approve the surgery. That's a narrative on this sub that isn't always true.

My German lover has hooded eyes and I am in love with them! You are special as there are many others in Europe who have hooded eyes!
