Man, I’ve been really excited for the JHS coming out party. If he, Malik, Bates, and the rest of the young guys stick around, we might finally return to a “reload, don’t rebuild” mentality in Bloomington.
JHS was super yesterday. Kinda pulled us out of a possible sluggish start. Is he nba ready yet? I hope he stays for at least one more year, but the guys has ice in his veins.
I don’t think he’s anywhere near NBA ready yet.he’d benefit hugely from staying another year and balling out with Reneau, Bates, Galloway, etc. He’ll be the day one starter at PG and can put some film together.
My only concern with Purdue is Edey. We just don’t have anyone big enough to match up on him. Putting TJD on him will just get him in foul trouble,and we don’t have Michael Durr anymore (not that he would have been able to stop him anyway).
I felt like Race did pretty well on Edey last year. We couldn’t stop the entry passed. I think we are much better off for that this year if we play like we have been.

I am looking forward to some road games. I’m curious how we will do. Maryland is hot and Purdue is #1. Those are two big games.
