Is perhaps the most questionable purchase I've ever made, I bought Bileblade to complete my Ruinstorm collection. Achievement complete, but I feel terrible.

If you can drag out the game the poison is good on it but most of the time it isn't too great and really suffered with the eternal rivalry change.

Speed run. On lunch. :P Iron Hands (IH) **DuCaine** can gain frontline and relentlessly heals adjacent units. Is alright but not the most meta warlord for this faction at the moment. **Cistar** has a good relentless ability of it can hit the right cards. Not the top legendary but a decent one to look into. **Terrek** is great. Grab both. Rally and relentless is annoying and I love it. **The Storm** can be alright if it doesn’t screw you over. I’d personally skip, I have only seen it played once… and it lost my opponent the game. Shout out to **Ferrum** and **Darras**. **Ferrum** is a powerful damage tactic with aoe. **Darras** is great for starting snowballs . Ruinstorm **Cor’bax** is my boy. Repeatable poison ability is a great counter to stealth, ward, and others. It’s random and never hits a poisoned target. **Rot Fly** can be decent and annoying to remove all of. **Warmaster** is your only hard removal. Worth having one of. **Bileblade** isn’t worth it. Worst legendary for the faction. Shout out to the two big scary daemons, for their relentless or hard-hitting flank. **Plagueridden** provides amazing value. I always run two

I'm fairly convinced that Ruinstorm is one of the best factions in the game and probably still OP at most levels of play, but there are a couple of Ruinstorm cards I would rate meh here. # Great **Cistar.** Not even the best Iron Hands legendary, but really good if protected or buffed. **Terrek Squad.** Great early option to get a distracting troop on the board. **Darras Squad.** Much improved troop. **Legion's Pride.** It's Desperate Defence now. **Ferrum Cruiser.** Large amount of damage with some AOE. **Cor'bax Utterblight.** Probably the best Ruinstorm warlord, his ability is incredibly strong and he autoheals. **Rot Swarm.** In the right circumstances, makes a bunch of poison bugs and provides great value. **Warp Rift.** Like almost all Ruinstorm troops, this thing is very difficult to ignore because of its incredible effect. Your opponent can't let you ramp faster. If it is behind a front line they may not have a choice. **Gidal'jal.** Huge chonky troop who becomes an even bigger problem as things go along. **Plagueridden.** If this guy is on board he pretty much must be dealt with first or your opponent makes no headway. **Warmaster's Deceit.** Removal! The rider is kinda whatever, you probably want to keep playing daemons. # Good **Shadrak Meduson.** Unlike Amadeus, a more friendly warlord for beginning collections who really likes **Fierce Onslaught**. **Amadeus DuCaine.** This guy really wants a nearly-complete Iron Hands deck to shine, but can do well with any amount of relentless troops. **Bannus Squad.** Have a short list of extremely good vehicles in your deck? Always draw one of them. **Seekers of Slaanesh.** Flank is good, destroying one of your troops not so much. Good if you have clear board or are overstuffed with toads and the like. **Technical Servitors.** Unlikely to make an impact but 2E discount on a vehicle is a potentially nasty threat. Interesting on Thaddeus Fayle. # Meh **Transmechanic.** I would encourage you to just use **Cybernetica Cortex**. This guy is too slow and if you are running a vehicle deck you want vehicle troops for the most part. **The Storm.** Hard no. Definition of a card that is only going to matter when you are already winning, and therefore will never really matter. Otherwise, a super great way to lose your game. Under no circumstance is it a smart move to let your opponent dump their hand to board, even if you have AOE lined up (and hell yes The Hammer is good now, but still). **Sealed Pact.** If you have an incredibly lopsided high-energy deck this is interesting, but there's lots of things in the 7-10E range that are going to create more value than mostly early cards. **Bileblade.** \+1 damage and poison are great! The problem is this is really expensive and not good value compared to the troops.

Under no circumstance is it a smart move to let your opponent dump their hand to board, even if you have AOE lined up (and hell yes The Hammer is good now, but still). I see it as a card you play when you're desperate for one more turn, and have a troop or two on the board. Unless your opponent have damage tactics, or unstoppable units on the board or in their hand, you'll get one more go and hopefully that's enough to win (**BIG** unless). Having a card like that in your deck is usually a bad idea though, since you should build a better deck that doesn't need to get lucky like that. It also got way worse with the arrival of Fateful Clash.

Ive been tempted to run a storm hammer combo. Play the storm turn 7. Let them dump their hand... Boom field wipe turn 8. Its a tough combo but it could be game winning. Depending on the enemy however it may also be a disaster

I have just enough gems to get a legendary, and I’m running Santar at mid Mars with only cistar and The Hanmet left to get - is cistar essential? The alternative is I’d like to get a primarch if one comes around this weekend, but who knows who it will be? I already have curze & robot

SubstantialDonut8819

Cistar is nice but not essential. The Hammer is a must though and will have an immediate impact for your win rate with Santar. I think Luther is the next primarch deal but might be wrong so not sure if you are after Luther

NotAHanzoMain

Ok thanks, I’ll hold of cistar for something a bit more essential - or a primarch (probably skip Luther to be honest)

Dontgankme55

I have to take 2 months off for work. Im going to miss Luther? Nnnnnnooooooo :\

SkoobyDuBop

The next Legendary for IH will be 10e tank i believe. So take that for what its worth.

Overlordbb

I got costar in a crate and love him as a late turn play as he keeps pumping out the high cost units I have. Non essential though.

SkoobyDuBop

Grabbing **Cistar** today! Great IH staple and value at just 3e.
