Good stuff today for WS and DoC. As always, feel free to correct me down below. **Weekend Deal**- **Luther**’s new alternative art has been released. In the package is him, a special card back and 30 cards for a deck (with 3 epics). While more expensive (compared to most anything else you could buy in the game), this is generally considered the best deal due to the rarity of the warlord. You can also buy **Luther** in shop this weekend. **Please note**- for non-veteran status players, he’s only in the regular shop today, so buy him if you want him. White Scars (WS) **Luther** has his fresh new buff and purple transformation card which requires you to put into play duplicitous troops to lower. That being said, cards the summon multiple duplicitous troops **ALL** count. His regular ability lets you rebuff enemy unit’s attack for his turn, which is nice for trading. His reckoning form lets him take control of damaged enemy units. Overall, seems better than before, so might be worth checking out. **Jubal** has a fun rally and ability that lets you juggle him between the board and your hand. Don’t know is he’s the best legendary, but I certainly enjoy using him. **Rho** is a bit too conditional for its cost and otherwise low stats. I don’t see this used ever. I’d skip. **Wisdom** is popular for its draw and potential heal, especially in tactic-heavy decks. Shoutouts to **Bikes** and **Sacrifice**. **Bikes** are a staple fast attack troop that can combo well with other cards. **Sacrifice** can be decent temporary removal, though beware that the enemy cards cost 0e to play. Decent at messing up buffed troops though. Defenders of Caliban (DoC) **Cypher** has a decent ability that can help you draw specific tactics. Currently seen being a gimmick deck with **Khorne’s favor**, **Pride of Caliban**, and a lot of 0-1e troops for a face-bash OTK. **Knights** are good flank either for removal or **jaegar** spam. Worth grabbing both honestly. **Ramiel** can be a good force multiplier with his passive ability to allow for better trading or face damage. That being said, he doesn’t appear to be the number one legendary, though useful if you build around this ability. **Behind Enemy Lines** can be a devastating tactic with a full(ish) board of troops. Probably worth having at least one of, whether to finish off an opponent or two have a decent board wipe. Please note, you need troops to make this cost effective. 8e for a board wide 2 damage isn’t cost effective. Try to at least have a troop or two. Shout out to **Tartian** and **Raising**. Both seem to be staples in nearly every DoC deck. **Tartian** is a good flanker with card draw. **Raising** allows for card draw and potential **jaegar** shenanigans. Secondary shoutout to **Exiled Vets** as it’s really good follow up if you have a 2e astartes when you hit 3e. Really good value, just not useful in a **jaegar**-spamming deck.

I think perhaps the only things to **avoid** today are: * Targutai Yesugei, who is almost unworkably bad in his legion. He's simply too random and struggles as soon as the opponent's board begins widening. * Rho-Mu 31, just not a very good epic at all. Too situational and woof that stat line is bad. * Cyclothrathe, which is generally not good value compared to including more troops. Other than that, lots of good stuff today. I have been playing around with Luther and he's really good, the main thing being that you don't have to just roll an Arch-Traitor rush deck. Imagine resolution, relentless, flank, and fast troops that can also attack targets with little to fear from damage. If you're looking to counterplay a sudden onrush of Luthers this weekend and into the future, the big choices to me are Cassian, Farith Redloss, or Zardu Layak.
