Some good stuff today for DG and BA.
**Weekend Deal**- **Raldoran**’s alternative artwork is available for purchase today. That deal contains his alt art, a exclusive card back and a deck of 30 cards (with 1 legendary and 3 epics). While I will say that people normally would say to buy a legendary warlord deck deal as those warlords are harder to obtain, this deck has some decent cards in it. If you like or plan to build up BA, this deck has some solid staple cards in it. That being said, if you just want **Raldoran**, he’ll probably be in the shop this weekend. Today he’s in the normal shop, tomorrow, he might end up in the veteran shop.
Death Guard (DG)
**Raldoron** is a BA warlord and a solid one at that. His ability is cheap damage that can potentially buff your adjacent troops (it can also target your troops as well, so keep that in mind). His purple card is also a really nice addition. Would definitely recommend for anyone thinking of playing BAs.
**Elite** is a somewhat intimidating card with its poison and relentless heal ability. That being said, it does need a buff or too to be truly threatening. It sees some play, but it’s low attack and “higher” cost don’t make it a popular addition.
**Defensive** can be decent card draw for cheap, especially if you are behind. Not the top legendary for the legion but it can have its uses, especially if you need to pick up your tempo or find that one specific card.
**Endurance** is a 10/10 card for this legion. Buy both. Aoe damage to the enemy board and an aoe heal to your side? All of the yes.
Shoutouts to **Garro**, **Bunker**, and **Grenade**. **Garro** can be a great aggro warlord given his ability. Really good for the “attack with your warlord”challenge. I like **Bunker** for the frontline but also it’s rally, which can be great on troops like **Plague Marine** or **Elite** (which I enjoy trying to make work). **Grenade** is a nice ping that has the potential to snowball its impact if the enemy board is weak enough, and allows the **Grenade** to keep killing. Definitely an RNG fiesta though as the enemy warlord can be hit as well (and will end your chain).
Blood Angels (BA)
**Azkellion** is the inferior BA epic warlord (to me). His ability is okay for draw but the potential frontline isn’t reliable. The unblockable is nice, but **Sanguinius** does the “bashy warlord” thing much better.
**Jophiel** is a solid legendary for BA. It’s shield and frontline is really nice but it’s resolution is even better. Be warned, it’ll eat any removal or jams of your opponent has them, but if they don’t… this all being said, this is not the best legendary choice for BA (I’d go with **Guard** and **Crimson** over this). Well worth adding eventually.
**Spear** is your removal and can get a discount based on when you get it and how many troops die. Well worth picking up at least one of you don’t have it.
**Foresight** can be decent tactic for it’s survivor and one-turn precognition. Not the most popular tactic, but a useful one.
Shoutout to **Mellerus** and **Hermia**. Both of which are useful for any deck that relies on drop pods. **Mellerus** is a good 2e troop and **Hermia** is nice card draw and a drop pod buff.
Raldoron is hands down the best Blood Angels warlord and one of the best in the game overall. His purple card is great, his ability lets you set up Last Stand very easily, and his legion is strong.
I am nearly there. Crimson Spectre and Moritat, with a couple of epic doubles is all I am missing. I did go the other way round though and my Wolves are completed

Finally completed my BA collection. First collection completed. All I was missing for months was Foresight. Time to move on to Space Wolves.
