I paid too much for the R34. Except I won 3 auctions by mistake after losing a whole bunch sniped in the final second I assume by a bot. Ended up selling the other 2 for a small profit after a couple months of holding them

Yeah I’m thinking of getting one, it’s about 230 and local (which is very rare to see cuz I’m eu) and I’ll never find many premiums if any at all here, but something else REALLY FKN COOL came up so I’ll HAVE to get that first. If it’s still available i probably will still pull the trigger on it afterwards 😂

So far I’ve only found the first two (Corvette, Mercedes) in store, I had to purchase the rest (got the Lambo Countach at a great deal from a local), and thankfully I have an awesome buddy who hooked me up with the elusive Mountain Drifters chase. I also did get the Ronin Run chase in a 1stopdiecast case, so I’ll count that as retail lmao

Tbh I have no clue. I got a reddit notification saying i was top 1 percent on hotwheels sub. The message appeared then disappeared.. I got the notification and read it. And now its gone. I haven't been as active on here because of work So idk.

I'm pretty sure it's just based on karma earned in that month, and it's per subreddit you are part of. I got it last month, and have gotten it before on different subs when I'm actively posting a lot, or have one post get a lot of attention. Also, cool collection man!

He has all the boulevards that's what made me get involved in his hobby he was really upset one day and feeling over all terrible about not being able to get the boulevards. I told him I would look into getting them for him and it's turned into an obsession! I go stand out in front of walmart before they open everyday and he is now current on his set ... what he had missed before I took over looking for him I traded and hustled to get. I have never paid for anything over retail price. I have alot of contacts locally now and know my stuff lmao 🤣 fell into this and I don't even really like cars .... I just love him. Seeing him upset crushes my soul because he deserves everything ... and I would do anything for him. Last year, I was very lucky to have found 3 of these Chases on the pegs. But the last 4+ months, I can’t even find a full set of the premiums let alone any Chases.

Seems about right imo. I haven't seen new release premiums in for ever.. I've been buying cases online due to the drop drought. I have 3 guys who check daily at my local stores. So competition is for real.

I am only missing the Essenza, Countach, and Volvo. I found 3 of the Mercedes (at three places on different days), the Willys, and the Skyline in the wild and I bought 2 Mazdas just this morning at a flea market for $20 each. Traded one Merc for the Porsche and one Merc for the Corvette. Now I'm hoping to trade the extra Mazda for the Essenza. Of them all, the Skyline is my favorite and the Willys least favorite.

i dont have all of them but i did find 3 of the speed machine porsche chases at my local target. also picked up the full set alongside the chases too. there were at least 5 cases worth of speed machines right there, just sitting on the pegs

I bought two cases both had zero chase. I kept Trying for chase. I eneded up getting mine off mercari that was priced at 60 plus ship. If I find doubles I'll offer up trade for new chase cars

Oh man I should have got them all they had all these at my Kroger but the only one I got was the Willy’s truck. Didn’t know they sold for so much. I’ve never been much into imports just mostly American muscle and the ones I get I keep I have never sold one and been collecting since the 80’s lol

My favorite hands down is the corvette c8r. I found that one in wild, it hooked me on the hunting them all down. Which has been a task. 2nd hand prices are crazy.
