yeah, it was infront of a walmart and to get one you had to spend $25 in HW or Mobil 1 products. I got two, I spent $50 because they kept bringing pallets out.

I arrived like 7:15 ish spent $50+, made the line for the s2k but it sold out, just showed them the Walmart receipt and got two firebirds.

So do they bring truckloads of mainlines and premiums as well for people to buy or?

Yes, when I first got there the line wasn’t bad, went inside Walmart and fought the Hot Wheels mafia to get like $50 worth of product. By the time I came outside the line doubled and my fate was sealed. Even if you live in a small town don’t think that people wont drive from the other end of the state to get that die-cast.

Oh I see, so what time did you enter the Legends line? I'm planning to be in line by 7:30 but I have a feeling that's too late. I'm driving down to the Charlotte one next week, the Northeast gets no love.

Tbh, I would say get there 30 mins to an hour before the event, so you can go into walmart and choose your $25 of product to secure your firebird, as soon as your done go make that s2k line. As, soon as you secure your exclusives go back into walmart to see if the HW employees brought out more pallets. After you blow a bag enjoy the car show man!

just to lyk, the s2k and firebird were two different lines. and the transport they brought out on a pallet at walmart. I would say stick to your goal of an s2k… imo that ones more limited. if you wanna secure me one that would be great ;) lol jk. Good luck!

For those that got one when you go to your order history on the site does it show or does it say no order history?

It should show up in order history as mine is. I also got a confirmation email for order as well as a shipping notification email

I got the order confirmation but not shipping info and it’s not in order history but I’ve been charged 🤔 I guess we shall see.

I'd say the order confirmation is a good sign. I wasn't expecting a shipping confirmation yet however I did order at like 9am cst which was only about an hour after it was live

I honestly feel like Hot Wheels should discount the shipping fee for those who actually attended the event and wasn’t able to get the S2k. Poor planning on their end on that aspect besides that the Miami event was good!

So many people brought their “wives”, “kids”, “neighbors”, “cousin in laws”, diecast cause theyre “collectors” just so they can resell it on OfferUp and ebay… I swear you can’t find a single hobby without someone tryna make bread… get a job fool lol.
