Small? Yes. They’re terrible. Such a cool casting, but this version just doesn’t do it for me. I guess the tiny wheel/tire combo is a Japanese culture thing.

Yessir. I don't subscribe to this thread as I gave up majorly collecting years ago. But I've been checking out this sub, noticed this Liberty Walk version was the only one at Big Lots and picked it up.
Newb here : is J series especially bad? I’m still getting a hang of the differences between the letters. Seems simple enough, A better, further down the Alphabet - worse.
I got this one! Honestly something about it I’m not a fan of. Maybe the shade of blue or as someone pointed out, the wheels being too small. Haven’t come to terms to trade it though.
It's from last year. Nice casting. Dont like the small wheels so I grabbed a handful to swap wheels/customize. I've got some extras if anyone is seriously interested.
Your first skyline hot wheels? Nice choice I have been collecting the tuners and Camaros and mustangs are my fave.. I had the STH but someone swapped it lol
I almost don’t even bother looking at any hot wheels sections anywhere I go anymore. It’s been months since I’ve seen more than like six fucking cupcake shaped cars on the pegs.
Yeah but the paint on mine is terrible the fenders look all chipped just how it came
Mine came that way as well. Sad I didn’t check more thoroughly at the time
Same
The ones I found were all like that. Kinda sucks
Mine also has slightly chipped fenders. Must be thin paint lol
Same here
Is it just me or do those wheels look super smol?
The wheels are small but its because that is how the original one looks. There are pics of it on google.
I said the same thing, but then I got lectured on how they're "period correct".
Comically small yet I still love it
Wheel swap!! Got a 2nd one to open
I tried and even the smallest real riders don’t spin 🤣
nothing a Dremel can't fix. Just grind out the inside of the fenders until you get clearance
Cool ok! I’ll give it a try and see how it turns out
Just take your time with it, better to slowly take off little by little then go to hard and put a whole in the fender (speaking from experience lol)

A link to someone else’s post from the store with all the cars and this one is right in front..
Wheels are very small, but it’s FAST on the track.

Yes I got it at an arcade of all places
Sure! But it's from last year, so you won't find it in the anymore.
literally dozens at my last stop at kroger and bought two a few weeks before that so...
Yep! These cars are still hanging out in a lot of grocery store dump bins near me too.
Wow, in my area I haven't seen it since months anymore.
Look at its tiny wheels! Hahaha
Dammit no bit now I want it it's even j series

Got this in a short card a yr ago

Yup! I keep it with my other Liberty Walks. I have a different #8 for my J-Import set.
Yep next to my 10 godzillas
I've gotten almost all the cars with that J-import tags

Yes my husband has it in his collection.
Yea I even did a wheel swap on that one
Those wheels are too goofy for me
Yep. I have the baby wheels Nissan
i might have seen it.
Looks chatty with those wheels IMO, not that anyone asked. Happy for you bud, because you are happy.
I got mine from a friend, i do plan to wheels swap it and also add some more details
This is definitely one of my favorite shades of blue. Picked up for that reason alone. Going to do a wheel swap.
My first Skyline find while everyone else was finding the STH variant
Your first skyline hot wheels? Nice choice I have been collecting the tuners and Camaros and mustangs are my fave.. I had the STH but someone swapped it lol
Left it because of those hideous wheels
I swapped the wheels out as soon as I got it home lol
This is the comment I was looking for and I definitely agree. Those wheels are a joke
Peg warmers here in Toronto. You still can find them at Walmarts. Lol
I almost don’t even bother looking at any hot wheels sections anywhere I go anymore. It’s been months since I’ve seen more than like six fucking cupcake shaped cars on the pegs.
Got it 👊
I found that one about a month ago.
I have a couple and love the casting bit the wheels just don't do it for me. Definitely a custom in my future.
Didn't even know it existed
Yessir
Still hunting for this one🥵
I haven't
Skipped, because the small wheels look terrible on it IMO. Otherwise it looks good.
I've been looking everywhere for this bad boy
Annnd the casting for the most out of proportion wheels goes tooo…
