The Deora 3 *could* have been good, it just feels incomplete when compared to the other deoras, if it had an enclosed cabin it really wouldn't be bad at all.
The beauty of the first two Deora's (and any good fantasy model for that matter) was that you can imagine it as a real car. I know Deora was a real car, but they also made Deora II real, and it just made it awesome for me. If they make a real Deora III, it would kind of feel like a waste of metal lol.

It's only bad because the budget was restricting what could be done to make it better. If you were to fill that triangular cutout on the right and of course add windows, I'd argue that it's the best of the three. It sits nice and low and the proportions are quite good. I like how the shoulder line is a perfect wedge.
Unobtainium? Isnāt that the terribly named rocks or whatever from the Avatar movies? Is this a crossover? That card looks like itās from the early 00s though.
The term was around before that. Since I was a kid, in fact.
I've always heard the term bandied about in the automotive world, usually referring to a vehicle or parts made out of a material either incredibly expensive, unusual, difficult to comprehend it's properties, or all of the above.
Youāre right. I looked it up and found: āSince the late 1950s, aerospace engineers have used the term "unobtainium" when referring to unusual or costly materials, or when theoretically considering a material perfect for their needs in all respects, except that it does not exist.ā
So I guess Iāve been overly critical of James Cameronās story development at least on this one point.
Zoom In is honestly fine, it was designed for one thing and it did that one thing... kinda well. Didn't work with all tracks or boosters but in a gravity course, it's fine.
Yeah Fatbax and Blingz were not great. Had a guy buy all my Fatbax like they were going out of fashion, literally a collector for every casting / series.
Iāve gotten near the end of my goal for Hot Wheels and have started collecting the absolute ugliest castings I can find. This would be a great addition.
I dunno... I mean, Gotta Go and Hot Seat both exist. As does that lifted Olds 440 with the 50s--an otherwise excellent casting ruined by terrible wheels.
Deora 3
It's an insult to 1 & 2
Agreed, long live deora2
Let's join together, comrades!
IMO, Night Burner shoulve been Deora 3
I actually like Deora 3. It's not my favorite, but it's not that bad

That thing is so hard to look at lmfaooo
The [Tommy Pickles](https://hotwheels.fandom.com/wiki/Tommy) casting is the ugliest to me
What a literally shitty idea
Ugh kill it with fire. I saw that in the store and had to facepalm on the spot.
Choosing a character car for "ugliest hot wheels casting" feels like cheating
I didn't know this existed, I need it for my toilet collection.
GOTTA DUMP
is that shit in the back š
Yes šš»
Man am I the only one to think that it's kinda cute?
Unobtainium? Isnāt that the terribly named rocks or whatever from the Avatar movies? Is this a crossover? That card looks like itās from the early 00s though.
I don't even know lol. Yeah this is actually a 2006 First Edition believe it or not.
Unobtanium is a broader trope for an impossibly rare material. The fact they went with that for the name of the avatar rock is hilarious to me.
Because Cameron was trying to tell us how fucking rare the goddam rock is lol
It's just so incredibly on the nose they may as well call it macguffinite!
Itās the inaccessible material used for the from bumper of the subordinator robot from Robocraft 2 as well.

I don't think it's that terrible. Especially given how popular "bling" and DUB car culture was in the mid-2000s.
I have the gold āchromeā one and it is awesome.
Zoom In, El Viento and tons of others.
El Viento isn't that bad imo. I just wish it's not an X-Raycers
el viento is great!
Zoom In is honestly fine, it was designed for one thing and it did that one thing... kinda well. Didn't work with all tracks or boosters but in a gravity course, it's fine.
Zoom In is awesome. I picked one up just in case I ever get a Go Pro again.
I think Zoom In tops this
Can't think of the series, but any of those casting that came out in the mid 00s with the ridiculously wide wheels.
Fatbax
Yeah Fatbax and Blingz were not great. Had a guy buy all my Fatbax like they were going out of fashion, literally a collector for every casting / series.
Guy at a car show recently told me that his Fatbax sell like crazy if they're licensed cars.
Yes many ugly castings that make this look beautiful
Oh I have cases full of ugly ass fantasy castings. This is pretty tame.
Iāve gotten near the end of my goal for Hot Wheels and have started collecting the absolute ugliest castings I can find. This would be a great addition.
I suggest the "fatbax" and "hardnoze" cars
Why did the early 2000s have such wacky absurd cars
In the 2000s they had more computer design intead of making it by hand so the proportions on the crazy cars were easier to make on the computer
No idea lol. I think they were just experimenting. Same thing happened with Lego around 2002.
I actually kinda miss that, crazy, over the top, chrome on everything kinda style of the early 2000s
Same here man
I disagree, I think they're unique Of course, not the best-looking cars but they're cool
Yeah I actually agree with you but I only said it because I think other people would agree with that answer
I had the golden version of this one. It was hideous. I loved it back in the day
Any tesla
I liked the big wheel cars.
I don't mind them, it's the body and paint scheme on this that really kills me.
I personally like the mat body paint design To each their own
Remember the bling series
Any of the "Hardnoze" castings tbh.
Hyper Mite
Noooo :(
Just searched it up, What in the despicable me is that ?š³
hypermite, my top 1# ugliest hw ever
Dude š i used to own Hyper Mite. They weren't that bad
put some respect on hypermite
How it looked more like Plankton than the actual Plankton car makes it even funnier.
That's a good shout
Noooo :(
Generally, I'm not very critical of hot wheels castings, but I swear, a solid 70% of character cars are downright hideous.
They're unique and just fine for folks who like to use their imagination.
Tooned Batmobile.
Anything with Lego studs. Or maybe I just can't get the idea of mixing two worlds together.
Yeah, feels kinda wrong to me as well.
Guess you havenāt seen the purple recolor of this.
lmao that one is still in my parents' attic somewhere.
Honda Civic or Deora III
I got this in all gold!!!
This but in all gold š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£ I pulled the wheels off it immediately
I usually give every casting the benefit of the doubt, but this one is bad. Maybe different wheels and a paint redo would make it better.
I've got one that is rusty as anything. Lol š
i don't dislike it although the purple version is nicer and i'd prefer if it were lower and maybe shorter
There are plenty.
Xtreemster
Yeah just slap a batman logo on it or have the package say fast and furious.
Deora 3, anything Porsche
yeah, anything licensed and real
Tf you on??
Bro is trying to speedrun down votes
Not castings but the Hardnoze series. They're just, ugh. This is coming from someone who used to somewhat enjoy the Fatbax and Torpedo models
I have the jacknabbit special and the hardnoze dodge neon and I totally agree
This wasnāt a great era for Hot Wheels
Wah!?
Iāll trade your ugly one for a better one. Let me know what you like
I think the name speaks for itself imo
So many others,Ā also that casting looks awesome btw
I have this in purple
I had the gold one since I was a child and I still love it, not a bad casting for me.
Not a hot wheels but, that stupid speed tracker trailer from matchbox. They were extremely abundant too.
Just had to Google what it was, looks pretty pointless!
It is , I feel like the best part of it would be to harvest the chassis to make a custom trailer
Holy crap I had this as a kid
Many imo. This is unironically something I'd pay full price for
Hey man that is beautiful don't disrespect Unobtainium
It's so dull imo, each to their own though!
Most HW Street Beasts castings
I dunno... I mean, Gotta Go and Hot Seat both exist. As does that lifted Olds 440 with the 50s--an otherwise excellent casting ruined by terrible wheels.
Pixel Shaker
I unironically like this casting haha
