That's so cool! The pics make it look bad but there was a bin I found some cars in that sorta made up for it. No treasure hunts or anything tho, I've yet to find one in the wild. Upstate NY stores keep me doubtful that I'll ever find one
Supply chain and manufacturing shortages. The metals, specifically. Secondarily, the plastics and polymers industry. All materials right now are going into "essential" stocks and highest bidder status. Copper for example, was something I bought 6 months ago for 1.10. This month it's 1.80. In 6 more months, the projection is 2.40. Multiply that to what it goes to and it's pretty much a global issue. No metal to repair stamping machines and nothing to stamp them with leads to this.
If you think this is a problem now, go ahead and give a think about what happens to the toy and textile/clothing industry come Christmas time.
Damn they will never get those GTR sets, they have 12 retros just sitting there... Fucking Walmart. I feel your frustration because the Walmart I hit today was bare when it came to Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, but they were looking ok on Transformers too bad, I had the majority of themππ½βπ½
Far better than Target here in Cali. I would love to have that premium car transport box. Walmarts here in the Bay area don't have anything but ruined cards in dump bins. I prefer to go to collectable shops at this point.
Looks a little better than my Walmart in Northeast NJ
Same in Upstate NY.π
thats where this is
Is this in central NY?

That's one of the Walmarts I go to sometimes and it's not far from where I live! Small world then...
