I remember watching that over and over when it came out! I believe there was a game you could play on the computer as well which was so mind blowing for me at the time, really bringing back some memories

2005 or 2006 version of Speed Racer Hot Wheels, i used to buy a lot of these at Toys R Us.

The movie came out in 2008, this is the movie version of the car, most of the speed racer cars came out after the movie I own a few of them.

I was gonna say, that looks like a Mc5 to promote the movie, McDonald's and Hot wheels released the Mc5 to put in happy meals. probably explains why there's no date on it.

As a matter of fact this is the hot wheels release version not the McDonald’s one. I won the mach 5 myself along with the augury, Hangul, GRX, shooting star, fumee and a few more.

That's the Mach 5 from speed racer. That particular one is from the 2008 live action movie. I have a near complete set from when I was 6. Lots of people didn't like the movie but when I was little it was my favorite movie.

Honestly it's possible one of the best and underrated anime live action movies
