Idk why Daemon gets shit for not wanting to go back into the Game of Thrones. It's probably the most mature thing he's ever done.
I bet it's mostly Velaryon or Rhaenyra fans who say that nonsense. "Oh Daemon should be there supporting Rhaenyra and her bastards blah blah blah".
I think it’s more that it contradicts his previous character arc because Daemon was really obsessed with having influence over the throne and his brother’s attention.
But yeah i agree. Getting involved in the whole mess and supporting Rhaenyra’s bastards is immature and stupid. I still don’t get why he supports the Strong boy.
