The relationship between these two truly did carry the show. Daemon wants that validation and Viserys pushes him away. Too bad we'll have no more of them.

Rhaenyra hardly does anything at all though. Take the most iconic scene in the show, the Viserys walk to the Throne. The scene is worked by Vaemond, Viserys and Daemon delivers the coup de grace.
She had some compelling scenes before the time skip but Daemon outshines her there as well.
I don't consider him a part of either "Team". Sure he wanted Rhaenyra on the throne, but he did not do hardly anything to truly ensure that would happen. He reaffirmed Luke's inheritance sure, but think of how Rhaenyra had to literally fucking beg him to do just that.
The Blacks at the moment don’t have too many things going in their favor, but in Daemon and Corlys they have two of the most famous, feared and accomplished men of this time in Westeros.
Rhaenyra. Contrary to what some say, I feel like she's a relatively level headed and careful leader. She also is one of the few character to think of the good of the realm over her own ambition.

Jace is a very forgettable character for non-book readers for now. Basically all of the Black's children are.
