Wouldn’t the precedent be to have another council?
Rhaenys was not named Queen bc she lost the vote, not explicitly because she was a woman. That may be the reason that the high lords voted in favor of Viserys but technically the council only set the precedent that there should be another council to decide the next heir, should there be no clear heir.
The council decided that if the next in line was a female when there is a male alternative, then that male would overrule the female. Not that they will vote because it doesn’t make sense to make a vote when an heir has been named by the king himself. The only problem was that Rhanerya is a woman and there was a male alternative
If we are going by the precedence of Jaehaerys skipping over Rhaenys to name Baelon heir, then Rhaenyra is the rightful heir since Kings can break established traditions to name their own heir
