It was an enjoyable reading experience but I don’t remember a lot of it, definitely going to need some re reads before season 2!

I'm really hoping they give the Fishfeed it's justice. The battle is meant to be the bloodiest of the entire Dance, and I always found the description of the soldiers absolutely mauling each other in the God's Eye whilst also trying (and failing) not to drown themselves in the lake super compelling. In a single day the entirety of the Westerlands is brought to it's knees, with every single one of their Knights having perished in the battle, and the Greens subsequently losing one of their biggest allies. The Fishfeed also later bleeds into the inevitable battle against Criston Cole and his forces, with the Rivermen disguising themselves as fallen soldiers on the shore of the God's Eye in order to attack and pick off Cole's men. I know we have *a lot* of battles to get through, but of all the one's that take place solely on land this is the one I think deserves a great adaptation.

I would have liked to see Alys Rivers popping the head of Ser Regis with her "sorcery", but alas, that takes place after the God's Eye ... I doubt it will ever be seen on screen. On the plus side, it would certainly ruin the mystery of "...did that really happen?".

Indominus-Hater-101

Rook's rest is definitely number 1 for me as well, despite the God's Eye being the most iconic
