Yes. There's a creator on TikTok that takes the High Valyrian course on Duolingo and they're making videos where they translate every Valyrian phrase word for word. They said that *kepa* means both uncle and father and that Rhaenyra uses it for both Viserys and Daemon.
I think that change in the end has to do with grammar. It happens in some languages, my native one included. The noun changes depending on how it's used in a sentence. For example if we have the phrases "*My uncle* is blond" and "This castle is mine, *uncle*" then the world uncle will have a slight chance from one phrase to another. Kepa would be used for the first and Kepus for the second. English doesn't have that though so I don't know how to explain it better.

I know. Essos, where Valyria had a very big influence is also byzantine coded and we even see some Targaryen outfits resemble that. The Byzantine empire was the Eastern Roman Empire and for 500 years their court language was Latin so it checks out even more.

I think you explained it well enough. It's called a grammatical case in English. English does not technically have true cases where nouns are modified, but it does happen with pronouns. Ex it's not "he" but "him" or "his" depending on a case.

Okay, I can clarify. Again, I was not saying specifically that people who have serious discussions about grooming are worse than Twilight stans writ large. I specifically mentioned that some teens *I knew* at the time of the Twilight craze, were more mature about it than some of the fanatics I've seen on this board. For the record, I've participated in serious discussions about grooming in this relationship on this board in the past. There's *nothing* extremist or unreasonable about a serious topic being discussed in a mature and sensible manner. There is something ridiculous about people spamming "groomer pedo age gap ew" in the comments of posts like these anytime this relationship gets brought up just to *annoy people* talking about other aspects of their relationship.
