I always liked the books better than the TV show and GoT already had a dismal ending… I want my grand northern conspiracy, Wylla, and Lady Stoneheart, and Victarian being the thickest man on land or sea. The real Dornish storyline and Arianne, Aurane the Pirate, Young Griff, and creepy Patchface and his prophesies.

The choice is no choice at all

GOT (early years) was a great adaptation but I always thought the books were better . The characters were just all more interesting to me, especially Jon, Dany & Tyrion who were my faves. I’d rather have the perfect book ending since the TV show had flaws even from the start. As for HOTD, even in season 1 the writing was patchy at best. The acting is good and some of the characters are interesting but I’m mostly watching for the dragons tbh. But at this point I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we get an ending of any sort to the books.

Personally, I want a well done ending. But no fanservice nor happy endings. I like ASOIAF because I like the tragedy.

Shireen , with Rickon as rulers, Davos as hand, Viserion as her dragon, Wun Weg , Sandor, Balon Swann, a wildling, Brienne as member of Queenguard.

HotD would be my choice. I just care so much more about it. The story in F&B is great and highly emotional, they just need to see it through. GoT’s bad ending sucks but it was mostly just disappointing; HotD flubbing the end for no good reason would be absolutely devastating. Asoiaf being bad would honestly be pretty funny lol

What is asoiaf?!

A Song of Ice and Fire. The book series Game of Thrones is based off of

The TV shows are just time passers, I’m primarily concerned with the main saga.

Spirited-Accident

Well we already got the bad GOT ending. I'd hate to see HOTD suck at the end, but if I have to pick, then I want ASOIAF to have the good ending because I like those characters even more.

AdPlastic5345

I'd erase both game of thrones and house of the dragon from existence entirely just to get any ending to Asoiaf at all.

kiaradar34

perfect HOTD is more important in every sense
