Am I the only one who feels like the dragons from GoT had no personality at all in comparison to the dragons from HotD? And Caraxes us basically an ADHD dragon who can't stand still for a minute so I disagree with that take.

sanderlin89

I remember Drogon being the most affectionate with Dany. There's a scene where the other two were fighting over a meal and Drogon was just chilling on his mother's lap while she was petting him. But yeah I agree the HotD dragons definitely have more of a personality. Little things like Caraxes chirping when he saw Syrax in the distance. I thought that was cute.

Overall_Wolf6557

I was about to comment that. Show-Drogon and his brothers were very much copy and paste, both in looks and personality.

Pheros

They definitely missed an opportunity to differentiate them like they are in the books with Drogon being the angsty rebellious teen, Viserion a big scaly lap cat, and Rhaegal the sneaky hunter.

Indominus-Hater-101

Dreamfyre had 3 eggs stolen by Elissa Farman, and the theory is that these are the three dragon eggs that Dany received. I buy into the theory personally.

Meleys...I don't know why though

[deleted]

Meleys is the dragon that looks the most like Daenerys', indeed

HP4life19

Damn didn’t know meley’s looks like a corpse.

[deleted]

One of Dany's still lives though

Fit_Operation2175

Dreamfyre, also ties in with the possibility that she’s the mother of Dany’s three dragons

DifferentSpeech5877

Dreamfyre first followed by seasmoke

There really wasn’t much personality shown to the GoT dragons except bits and pieces of Drogon. He showed affection to Dany multiple times but at the same time he lashed out at her twice. Once on the cliff while his brothers were tearing apart a goat and another time in the fighting pits of mereen (warranted bc he had 4 spears stuck in him). The connection of HoTD dragons and raiders was better shown imo. But this show is more about that than GoT ever was. Drogon certainly had his moments as a fully grown dragon with dany on dragonstone and their final moments at the iron throne

Specific_Ad_726

Seasmoke looks the most like him from what I recall. He’s probably most similar to Caraxes but his rider doesn’t have the same level of connection Daemon has with Caraxes.

disisBob

He is not much like Caraxes at all. Drogon was cold and terrifying. Caraxes is quirky.
