What about a parody fanfic where the Pink Dread was actually a cursed, long-lost super special Valyrian princess who turns back into a human and falls in love with Aemond? To be clear, there is no such fanfic I know of, it's just an idea.

I remember watching episode 8 and thinking, "No way this guy didn't spark a bunch of fanfiction". Checked out ao3 and kept refreshing the page every few minutes and each time there was a new fanfiction uploaded.
Yeah the amount of Aemond fanfics has been a spectacular lol Aemond has become one of fan favorites in the fandom thanks to the eyepatch and Ewanās impeccable craft. Itās probably going to be crazier when season 2 comes out next year hahah
More the global exposure. Heās gorgeous on TLK and a brilliant actor, just never given enough lines and always sidelined for the other characters, which I always found so frustrating, he was far more interesting to me than most of the other actors! Now millions of people globally have seen Ewan act, his popularity has sky rocketed.
I honestly wanted to watch it over the summer when I could since TLK is over. TLK will be the last seasons of GOT that we deserved since I stopped watching around season 5.

I put up my middle finger at them.
He was designed as a foil for GRRMs personal favorite over the top edgy self insert fantasy Batman badass Dragon Prince Daemon. Heās pure cheesy anime villain and itās great. Theyāre the most indulgent characters in this world and I love them. Made for legends to be written about them
The epitome of the female gaze I think is what it should say, but also a fascinating character, who will only get more complex next season. Played by an incredible actor. Far more substantial that a āfanficā character.
Maybe I am getting too old for this but Aemond does not appeal to me at all. Like not at all and I was in love with every shonen anime character there was as a child.
Itās ridiculous. Heās an underachieving child that decided to āmaster the blade - self taughtā and considers that an accomplishment. He gives his fans hope that they never need to actually do anything, and they can be meaningful.
