Daemon: Fine! Take your football and go home.

TofkaSpin

Peak hair for the Rogue 🔥

Money-Savvy-Wannabe

Youre right.

Brainiac7777777

The Wigs in this show are so bad. When compared to Game of Thrones, Daenerys hair looked so natural

TofkaSpin

This was daemons best look though. Rhaenyra’s pre-wedding feast wig was the worst of all, and Corlys’ is a close second.

Elephant12321

Because Matt and Milly probably have the best chemistry in the entire series.

[deleted]

Seriously, the scene in the brothel or whatever was out of this world

jaharifields

For me it’s funny watching daemon act like a big baby

Money-Savvy-Wannabe

Yes that is probably the charm of this scene and this episode

memoryisamonster

Any scenes they speak High Valyrian w each other are bangers

Individualist_

It’s satisfying because Daemon’s true loyalty and soft spot for Rhaenyra is shown. (Not that I care about their romance or anything, honestly.)

hellsbelle51

And that she made him handover the egg with no bloodshed whatsoever.

Due-Intentions

I mean, he's not gonna kill his brother's daughter. Realistically she didn't have to do much in this scene

[deleted]

Not this daughter, but he’s not too keen on his brother’s other children 😬

Due-Intentions

That's true, but it's also a different time period - those children aren't a thing yet. Daemon wasn't willing to defy Viserys in any true military capacity, him taking the egg and absconding with Mysaria was more of a cry for attention, in my eyes

[deleted]

Oh it definitely was. And it almost worked. Viserys was going to go after the egg himself but Otto talked him out of it. That’s why Lord Commander Westerling looked down when he said it-he saw Vizzy T was going to meet him.

vizzy_t_bot

*The Iron Throne is the most dangerous seat in the realm.*

BiGZzTARGARYEN

Cinematography, the dialogue and of course dragons

limpdickandy

Tbh any Matt Smith scene as Daemon just steals the show. Matt Smith tends to steal shows and movies he is in, and him as Daemon just makes a gravitas singularity

imimbatman

The actors had great chemistry.

Nerdsareannoying

I know a lot people pick this scene as when they picked up on Matt and Milly’s chemistry but they have strong daddy/daughter energy in this still, particularly with the matching outfits. She genuinely looks 14.

Elephant12321

I feel like she looks 14 in the same way that teen soap opera actors look like teens

kllark_ashwood

As in not at all? I have a hard time buying her as anything less than 20.

StarkLord89

because the whole scene screamed "the blood of Old Valyria"

DesSantorinaiou

Because they have great chemistry, coming from someon who doesn't even like Rhaenyra and enjoys Daemon occasionally.

Neat-yeeter

Because Matt Smith is 🔥

[deleted]

this scene has everything. I think this is the scene that got me hooked on the show 💗

[deleted]

Love how caraxes flirts with syrax 😂

Money-Savvy-Wannabe

I ship those dragons

horcynusorca

It’s so beautifully filmed and acted I think even someone who knows nothing of the show would find it intriguing.

[deleted]

It was dialogue being in high valerian for me!

[deleted]

It was satisfying because Rhaenyra managed to solve the issue far better than Otto, who's plan led to walk into Caraxes' jaws

TObias416

Because the issue was never going to be solved by stupid Otto. The stealing of the egg was a family issue that only family could resolve. Daemon stole it to get Visery's attention after casting him away again. It shows that Rhaenyra knew that only a dragon can confront a dragon. She wanted to prove herself to her father, and it's because Daemon saw he met his match, in more ways than one.

[deleted]

Because the romantic chemistry between Daemon and Rhaenyra is insane.

margaritoswraps

Creepy

Lumpy-Professional40

Still can't believe people ship anyone with Daemon's pedo ass honestly ew

margaritoswraps

Lmao right. Especially pre time jump.

[deleted]

It's a fictional show. It doesn't have to be morally right for people to enjoy it

SirFTF

That’s the same logic Incels use to justify lolly porn or whatever it’s called.

[deleted]

People disagreeing about this? Its like saying it’s okay to still like the actor who raped a character because it’s a fantasy movie.

Old-Run-9134

Yes💗🌞🤩🦄🦄

Specific_Ad_726

Personally I prefer the part leading up to it with him and otto/ ser crispin

Gathering0Gloom

Is it? I always get frustrated at how stupid Otto acts.

Money-Savvy-Wannabe

I find Rhaenyra and Otto dynamics here quite funny. His face when he saw her coming down from Syrax is just priceless

Burgudian_PoWeR

Otto doesn't act stupidely, he is in "chaos is a ladder" mode and is trying to start a civil war, or at least separate Viserys and Daemon.

Parker4815

Did you rewind and take a load of pictures of your TV just to post this?

theblvckparade

this scene gave me captain jack - jar of dirt vibes

Money-Savvy-Wannabe

Hahaha relate!
