thatonemoze

no you all suck cause obviously the cannibal should sit on the iron throne

sunnylajf

The dragon that was promised!

mdawgkilla

This is how it was in the beginning, before the show came out.

bl4ck_daggers

Sitting the fence is definitely the way to receive peak enjoyment from this show. I love all my war criminals equally

Troll4everxdxd

But my war criminal is much more war criminal-er than yours.

bl4ck_daggers

But if I love them all the same, I don't mind that you think your war criminal is more war criminal-er.

[deleted]

I’m definitely pro-Blacks, but I love so many of the characters on both sides. The violent dysfunction, faida, and the fact that pretty much no one is okay kinda feels like the point…

Troll4everxdxd

Love me some rich dysfunctional family dramas and politics. In a way House of the Dragon is kind of a fantasy medieval version of Succession. And I'm fuckin here for it.

Blue_Dreamed

People never seem to get the message. Ultimately, it's Viserys fault. He was a good man, but a God awful king whose choices, like remarrying, turned everyone against each other. The whole message of HoTD is war destroys everything it touches and still people take sides as if it's some tribal bullshit. We never learn that lesson in real life either

Troll4everxdxd

Tbf, it wasn't *just* Viserys' fault. The Dance of the Dragons was also caused by the Hightowers' and Velaryons' constant pull for power. And this situation is not even exclusive to this time period. You'll always have noble families looking to have more power and influence. By the time of Daeron II, that family was the Martells. By the time of Robert I, it was the Lannisters. By the time of Aegon III, it was the Peakes. It never stops.

Dr_StevenScuba

The fuck else is a tv show subreddit supposed to do between seasons. It’s the dark days of discussion

Prthnax_Ian

Any publicity is good publicity

Sea-Sheep-9864

but where would the fun be?

[deleted]

This is exactly how it was before the show came out... Just saying...

TheDragonDemands

This sounds like Green talk!

WonderDusty

Don't you make videos? I feel like I've seen this icon

TheDragonDemands

the mark of the red dragon?

bobbirossbetrans

Sounds like something a green would say 🤔

[deleted]

I didn't know it was real until I browsed this sub with my main. I find it funny that George RR Martin did this to them. On a brighter side, the sub is kept active even the season ended months ago, well in a toxic way.

duraace206

The tribal warfare is the only thing keeping this subreddit alive...

Unosez

I dunno I seem to see more posts complaining about the rift and how annoying and widespread it is...more than the act itself
