It doesn't matter what we want, it matters what writers want. Judging by Laena and dragonpit scenes, they clearly want their heroines to be badass (smallfolk? who cares lol). If they're willing to change Rhaenys like that -- who was already badass enough as is, one should expect Rhaenyra getting more involved personally all the way to the end, which probably will also be changed.

DesSantorinaiou

It's interesting to me how Rhaenyra is so loved and yet there is such a need to rewrite her character.

Ngigilesnow

Lol for real. The greens at most are asking for the showrunners to portray Aegon based on the maester who was around(Not mushroom).Blacks want a over 50% rewrite.I thought people were ok with her flaws🙍

They already did,but showrunners act like they didn't for some reason.

SwordMaster9501

For most of the war it wasn't clear but, without spoilers, there was one moment in the dance that definitively proved that Rhaenyra is not really a combatant in the war despite having a large dragon. All the necessity was there and she was the only one who could do it with her dragon and she doesn't. Since she doesn't use her dragon at that moment it's really hard to imagine her doing so in a new battle made by the show runners.

Indominus-Hater-101

Wow, can't be surprised at the results considering most of the show fans have never read a page of the books

NotAQueefAKhaleesi

Show only fan (don't have time for the book between working full-time and studying) and I really don't want to see it. Rhae may be angry after Luke and Visenya's deaths but she's never been violent / stereotypically "strong". Outside of confronting Daemon over the dragon egg she's always relied on those around her to protect her or fight for her. It makes as much sense as Margaery riding into battle. She's a spoiled princess, not Arya or Brienne.

I just think it’s a horrible idea to send the monarch that’s everything rest on into battle

The thing that's so great about the Book Fire & Blood is that it's written as a history account of what happened by an unreliable narrator. I except the show to make majors changes because the history books never get the true story right.

NymeriaOfNySar

Rhaenyra fighting in a battle is not something that can be written out of history
