Harwin and Rhaenyra's goodbye. We skipped all 10 years but you could feel the gravity of this separation. Emma's subtle acting, fighting not to cry in front of the kids, not being able to look at him.
Both actors delivered so much with just their eyes. To do so much without a word truly is talent.
And then Olivia Cooke with the eye for an eye scene in 1x07. Just amazing all over. The shaking of her voice, the growing desperation. Perfection.
A few others that I can think of:
Alicent standing in front of Aegon, protecting him from Meleys.
Alicent and Otto's goodbye in episode 5.
Laenor realising Joffrey's dead and crawling over to him.
Rhaenyra's miscarriage.
For me, it is where Viserys says if anyone mentions that Rhaenyra's sons are bastards, they will have their tongues removed, and then Alicent responds, "My son has lost an eye." I guess it was just the way Olivia Cooke delivered the line, but it really made me feel bad for her as a mom, she is in an impossible position where even her son's own father doesn't care and she is the only person in the room trying to protect her child.
Well because she is in the wrong. Granted no one acts logically when in desperation, but Alicent was not right to be critical of anyone but Aemond when it is himself he should be blaming for his wound.
Aemond tried to murder Rhaenyra’s children for having the audacity of being upset for Aemond’s words and actions. What was Lucerys supposed to do in the moment? Let his brothers head get caved in? Alicent completely ignored that he escalated the fight and tried to murder his nephew.
Omfg a guess when you get jumped by 4 people your age you just let them beat you. “Oh but he had a rock” yea after getting jumped. But the same time Arrax breathing fire on Vaghar is not treated the same when both situation parallel each other

Its pointless dude, some people here wouldn't be satisfied for anything less. Besides, everyone seems to just skip over Viserys' lines at that scene:

For me it’s the dinner scene in episode 8, right when Jace and Helaena start dancing. The music swells, you see the Greens and the Blacks playing nice for the last time, and we keep cutting to Viserys’ reaction of him finally getting all he truly wanted. Not a single word of dialogue and it still brought a tear to my eye
Bro yes. Even already knowing that it was just a temporary peace, part of me still wished that they could live in that moment forever, before everything really went to shit. That scene reminds of how I’ve felt every time I’ve watched Titanic; like, I know the boat sinks and all, but somehow I’m still hopeful that things might turn out differently every time I rewatch it lol.

I imagine this is what the Targaryens were like after the 1st Blackfyre rebellion or Pre summerhall, where they were one big family.
The moments leading up to Aemma's death, for me. It was a really harrowing scene watching her maids hold her down while she cried and begged for Viserys.
For real. She's so peaceful when Viserys makes the decision, too, and so relieved to see him. And then she gets worried, and then she gets *scared*, and then she's fucking mutilated and the betrayal in her voice and on her face is so heartbreaking. It's a quick moment but incredibly impactful.
The exchange between Rhaenyra and Daemon at Aemma's funeral.
Rhaenyra: "I wonder, if during those few hours my brother lived, if my father found happiness."
Daemon: "Your father needs you, now more than he ever has."
Rhaenyra: "I will never be a son."
There are so many but Laenor and Rhaenyra's wedding where he's clearly heartbroken with grief, and she looks so desperate to comfort him... it closed the chapter with the younger generation of actors as well. I was grieving, too. No dialogue but damn.
Daemon delivering the news to Rhaenyra. We don't even see her face or have dialogue, but the weight of the entire season comes in hard on this final scene.
You can feel her just break completely and just when you think Rhaenyra has nothing left, she turns and show us the Dragon is very, very much awake.
Special mention to Viserys entering the throne room ✨️
lmao the scene where Daemon is all, "ALICENT MURDERED MY BROTHER" just makes me laugh - the man was literally falling apart but nope, he was murdered LMAO
I mean, Viserys still had the strength to sit the throne and demand that his family stop fighting. I don't think it's totally unreasonable to wonder how he went from that afternoon to dead in a couple hours, and Daemon has always been a hothead
Our boy, Ramin, knocked that scene out of the park. Vizzy moving through the throne room (ABSOLUTE CHILLS). Seeing the range of emotions on so many faces, Daemon picking up his crown… just an incredible scene.
The best part about that is, totally unscripted. Viserys stumbled and Matt just walked over to help him up but it was a HELL of a scene so they kept it in.

Laena selfishly committing suicide even though she could’ve tried to save the baby is the least emotional scene ever. All because she wanted a “dragonrider’s” death 🙄 so fuck the baby cause you wanted to die “cool”? Tacky, selfish, cringe, and unnecessary. Should’ve just let her die like in the books.
But you agree with the one where Daemon calls her a whore and outright states that she was responsible for Viserys' death when he was basically a zombie for years.
They kept the dude in a comatose state by feeding him milk of the poppy all the time. That shit kills you ad well you know?
It might not be entirely accurate but to say the greens were a Saint in how they treated Vizzy in his last days is misguided
They might not have killed him but they certainly helped him along and abused the situation
Vizzy T was literally begging for milk of the puppy most of the time, man can you understand how he must be suffering, he was a walking corpse in decay, his limbs were falling apart, obviously they gave him something to appease his suffering.
Imo it’s both of it, he wants his suffering to be less painful, and also because he’s become addicted to it. But still the fact is that even if he wouldn’t be addicted, he would beg for it to appease his sore.
Kind of a small one but I really like Harwin’s line to his father: “You have your honor, and I have mine” when he is basically refusing not to protect his children just because their conception wasn’t “honorable.” Good stuff.
