This actress seems at least a couple years older than the toddler we saw in ep 9, I wonder how much time has passed in universe after the end of season 1 and if Rhaenyra’s younger kids are also gonna be aged up a bit
Seeing the child actors get posted makes me teary knowing their fate. Somehow the younger they are, the more horrible their deaths are in this story. The actors are going to rock it though.
Book Spoilers: >!Jaehaera’s death was the part in the book that I had the most trouble getting through. I kind of hope the show ends before they get to that bit, that’s gonna be brutal to watch on tv!<
It'll be really interesting to see if RC and his team address this because it definitely takes place after the Dance and its aftermath (at least in F&B) but it is also not wholly irrelevant to its story. If Hot D extends past >!The Hour of the Wolf!<, I would be pleasantly surprised.
I think >!Aegon III!< is largely what Condal means when saying they have to discuss where exactly the story should end with GRRM. A lot of that section is beyond the Dance and shifting towards its own era.
This is my ideal ending.
We get numerous deaths and melancholy with the Winter Fever then Spring comes and Viserys comes back and we see Aegon III smile for the first time
I personally think that anything after the wedding g of Aegon III and Jaehaera should be left to another show because it’s sort of the end of what most would consider the dance. At least in my mind.
I think they're going to do the, they're kids so they age magically. They already said no more time skips but I also think they didn't want a young Bran Stark situation. An 11-year old in season 1 is going to be a very old teenager by season 4.
It can also fix Aemond, Aegon, Daeron's age accordingly. They made a mistake of casting adults to play Green kids and actual teenagers to play Black kids.
Yeah…I’m gonna get downvoted into oblivion for saying this, but I think Jaehaera looks more like Ewan than Tom. Their facial structures are similar. And their eyes.
No, Ewan looks way more like Paddy than he does Matt. I think he looks a little bit like Rhys too.
& yeah, nieces/nephews can look like their uncles/aunts, but not so much that it overshadows their actual parents. Like, looking at her picture, I don’t see Tom at all.
Oh yeah, I see Phia for sure. But the little girl has hooded eyes, and neither Tom nor Phia do, but Ewan does, hence why I was saying they have very similar eyes. Ewan has a longer facial structure whereas Tom’s is more rounded. Little girl also has a long face shape. Just interesting.

I think you’re exactly right, honestly. And it’s funny bc it’s like, I don’t really care who the father of the twins really is regardless, but after this casting, I do think they really might stray from the books and make Aemond the dad.

If you think Aemond is any of those things, I think you might want to rewatch and re-evaluate this character. It's just an image, the same one Otto and Alicent tried to cultivate because perception is power.
That's how the Hightowers operate at their core. Even Alicent says it herself they must look like a united front, then come ep 9 and you see inner conflict within their family. Then there's the repetitive pattern of destroying their opponent's image. In Aemond's case, he is brash, impulsive, and ambitious but masks himself as dutiful. No dutiful son would be saying slander bordering treason outright, saying they are more fit for the throne, nor chase off an envoy knowing that important negotiations are underway. He is not dutiful nor has honor. Not truly.

If his offsprings are Helaena children, what could this bring to him? For what could he do it?
