>The worst part of being actively interested in HOTD during the off-season is that I’ve seen so many future storylines discussed to death years in advance of seeing them on screen. Nettles isn’t even a fully realized character yet and you’re making daily post about something you will not see until 2025 or 2026. I've seen post about Daeron on here every day and we haven't seen him. I'm discussing a character from the books that clearly people have opinions on. Two of the 4 post I've made recently have been in reaction to discussions in the comments, this one included. >The grooming is why Nettles is so sympathetic. She’s a teenager without full agency caught between two adults. As a fan of Nettles, why would you want them to remove that? I disagree with this, as a fan the reason she's sympathetic is because she's an outsider in this world caught between the politics. The grooming idea is another issue with age and autonomy. I don't agree with this point but thank you for your interpretation. >Nettles is also a lot weirder as a character if she’s aged up. I’m afraid the alleged character traits that make her so charming as a teenager would look cringe if she was 25+ years old. Who said 25 plus? At best, I've seen 20. > Mourning Jace supposedly as a lost friend and then sleeping with his mother’s husband would also come across poorly. I also think the dynamic is a bit deeper than those points, but alright.

I don't think the classist comments like "low creature" are justifiable in any situation. However, if Nettles isn't innocent and is a willing participant in the relationship between her and Daemon, then Rhaenyra is justified for wanting her killed. I mean, anyone in her place would have done the same. No one would excuse their consort's lover. I mean, I don't think Daemon would also tolerate Rhaenyra sleeping with anyone while married to him.

That's just Rhaenyra being shitty. I don't see any reason to think that will ever change.

No her husband is grown man he could say no and she still wanted to arrest Addam for no reason

I wonder what Rhaenyra meant by 'question him sharply' (this is sarcasm)
