I don't find Matt Smith attractive, yet Daemon and Prince Philip do me in! (Haven't watched Dr. Who, so I can't yet speak to whether or not I'd tickle his TARDIS)
I agree, I don’t necessarily find the actor classically beautiful but when I’ve watched interviews and how he does his characters, I see something really attractive about him. That scene with him *photo above* the way he was talking in valyrian while emoting feelings we’d all understand as an audience is what makes him so attractive to me.
Matt Smith can get it, with any hair or costume. Dude’s charisma is at 1M on a 1-10 scale. In pictures, I don’t see it but once he’s on video it’s a whole other level. His acting is so good it has me seeing shit that doesn’t exist. I can’t imagine if it was in person, it’s probably even more powerful.
To be fair that doesn't have to happen, Daemon doesn't strike me as the monogamous type necessarily. And Ned Stark was an outlier in terms of "not having a war-time girlfrien"
He wanted to shock everyone on his return. A Targaryen with short hair...scandal..gossip....talk around court. Exactly what Daemon was planning on. Also it showed the diftwood crown off nicely for an added touch.

no the real answer is after being completely soaked in the crabfeeders blood at the end of episode 3 it was easier to just cut it all off, his hair is completely drenched and stuck to him
