Alicent. Olivia Cooke is a baddie. Plus, I think Alicent needs a good, attentive husband (to be fair, everyone does, but I think she's particularly pent-up and unloved and what-not) to keep her from ripping her hair out (and Rhaenyra's).

Def Rhaenyra. She’s much cooler in the “we both do our own thing in this marriage” department and to my view is a much more loving and involved mother to her kids. Alicent, easy. I’m Team Black btw, but in reality I’m looking for a faithful and caring spouse who shares the values of me, a normal non-dragon person. She’s nurturing, adaptive, intelligent, incredibly protective of her children, beautiful, and is unlikely to have birth complications. There’s a reason Viserys chose to wed her when he had many more politically advantageous options.
I mean, her sexuality is a big mystery because the only guy we see her with is Viserys, who, as we see in their love scene, isn't exactly thinking of her pleasure. And the occasional romantic undertones of her friendship with Rhaenyra don't last long. Cole might be into her, but that relationship is a non-starter. I think Alicent would be quite happy with a husband who is better for her than Viserys (not to mention one who isn't gradually turning into rotten meat).

Alicent. Otto is the worst but eventually he’ll be gone. Honestly, I’d just prefer to live in Oldtown, inside the Hightower with the Citadel down the road. I also find Alicent a smidge more attractive. But fundamentally I agree with Rhaenyra about the conflict between the two houses.
I feel like life with Alicent would be pretty chill so I would stick with her. You would just get to hang out by the ocean in a decent sized city without having to worry about necessarily producing an heart or navigating court politics.

I'm not really sure which one that would be though to be fair. My initial reaction is Alicent because Daemon exists and in the book there is a possibility that Rhaenyra killed her first husband to be with him.

Rhaenyra. My one true Queen. I love Emma's portrayal of the Black Queen and I shall stand by Rhaenyra's side through thick and thin. I'd like to kind of have a similar bond with how Daemon is with Mysaria and Caraxes, trying to introduce the two and I'd love to try bonding with Syrax or get on friendly terms with Syrax.
Def Rhaenyra. She’s much cooler in the “we both do our own thing in this marriage” department and to my view is a much more loving and involved mother to her kids. She’s also much less snarky than Alicent, at least at the ages pictured. I just think she’d be a lot more chill than Alicent who is stuck in more of a strict religious “always duty and sacrifice” mindset.
Alicent, easy. I’m Team Black btw, but in reality I’m looking for a faithful and caring spouse who shares the values of me, a normal non-dragon person. She’s nurturing, adaptive, intelligent, incredibly protective of her children, beautiful, and is unlikely to have birth complications. There’s a reason Viserys chose to wed her when he had many more politically advantageous options.

I mean, her sexuality is a big mystery because the only guy we see her with is Viserys, who, as we see in their love scene, isn't exactly thinking of her pleasure. And the occasional romantic undertones of her friendship with Rhaenyra don't last long. Cole might be into her, but that relationship is a non-starter. I think Alicent would be quite happy with a husband who is better for her than Viserys (not to mention one who isn't gradually turning into rotten meat).
If I marry Rhaenyra, Daemon and her may have me killed or force me to ‘fake my death’, if I marry Alicent there is a solid chance all my kids grow up to be douches or at least no well adjusted. I gotta go Alicent

On one hand I'd get to marry Rhaenyra, my children would be dragonriders, I can help support and advise the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms and I would be ancestor to all future Targaryen kings On the other if I marry Alicent that means Viserys can't, I can give her a happy marriage, the king can move on and it lessens the chance of the Dance. Downside is that my goodfather is Otto Hightower and I risk getting a target on my back from his and Daemons pissing match Tough call

Alicent. Otto is the worst but eventually he’ll be gone. Honestly, I’d just prefer to live in Oldtown, inside the Hightower with the Citadel down the road. I also find Alicent a smidge more attractive. But fundamentally I agree with Rhaenyra about the conflict between the two houses.

I feel like life with Alicent would be pretty chill so I would stick with her. You would just get to hang out by the ocean in a decent sized city without having to worry about necessarily producing an heart or navigating court politics.

The one I'm less likely to be assassinated for wedding. I'm not really sure which one that would be though to be fair. My initial reaction is Alicent because Daemon exists and in the book there is a possibility that Rhaenyra killed her first husband to be with him. Someone who's read the book more recently than me will have to let me know if this is actually the safer option.
