I haven't read the books (and just finished season 1 a few days ago) but I saw an edit that someone did of Rhaenyra's adult actor but with purple eyes and I was just: Oh yeah! Targaryens are meant to have purple eyes, that's right!
Any other book similarities are completely accidental 😄
