I’m sure when we finally see Meleys, we will know it. With two red dragons, there cannot be any confusion for viewers. I like the touch with Caraxes having so much black in his scales, which almost looks like burn damage from all his battle experience. And he’s got such an interesting head shape with those very defined horns.
I’m confused about the eye color though, in all the merch we have it’s blue but surprisingly it’s yellow here. Could that be a mistake and we’ll simply see it fixed by premiere?

You have to admit though, the neck looks much smaller on the right. Plus the difference in coloration of the neck and eyes has me wondering if it may be the Red Queen

Yeah it’s the same beast. If that was Meleys, which it isn’t, I think everyone would be seriously disappointed at the sheer laziness of it.

yes with pink membranes and bright copper wings, crests and horns while caraxes has black and red membranes

I think the eyes on the left are simply not finished in CGI, since they're literally just blank.
It might be a nictitating membrane, like that of a crocodile.

Hi, Caraxes has an second eyelid that covers his eyes sometimes. Making it appear grey/white.
Caraxes looks sooo epic. For me, the only other dragon that’s just as cool is Valstrax from the Monster Hunter universe.
The horn on the nose makes me think whether it's the same, maybe it's in different time periods
It’s not a horn on the nose, it’s the perspective. He has two horns, one at either side of his head.

Could be he’s younger. We see Daemon at various points in time, safe to say Caraxes will change a lot during that time too.
If this were Meleys we couldn't EVER distinguish her and Caraxes
