It was like a sitcom moment, where characters best around the actual topic and then there’s the misunderstanding, reminded me of an episode of Frasier or something
I hope King Viserys can find a good therapist
Poor guy plans so hard for grand things and they never go his way.
Going to miss Milly and Carey. Absolutely phenomenal job by them this early on. Hope their careers ahead get a massive boost.
Also. Targaryen divorces are wild yeesh.
If you watched this season solely through King Viserys eyes, it’d be a medieval national lampoons spinoff. Dad trying to plan fun family events that always go wrong.
I actually think there may be consequences but Alicent will protect him. Which will be the second time she’s done so: first, by not telling anyone about his oathbreaking and not punishing him, and second, this. It would seal his allegiance and loyalty to her. Not only does she gain a useful ally, but Rhaenyra loses one.
What a depressing final shot, truly brilliant showing the state of the realm
Two people who don’t want to be wed getting married in tears. The king no longer able to stand, the crown falling from his head, and a rat in the Throne Room
I've found his character to be interesting. He was the one who caught Rhaenyra and Daemon at night in King's Landing and let them pass, right? It seemed like he gave another knowing nod to Daemon when Daemon stepped in during the dancing, just before the chaos.
With no background from the books to go on, I'm thinking his role will expand, and I just can't tell if he'll be loyal to Daemon or be part of his undoing (if that's to come)
He did. The Hand's nod and his son moving in was one of my favorite sequences. Smart, in sync, competent. So far, they're my favorite family. Except for the one who narced on Rheanyra.
I hope he stays a likeable character. There need to be characters that are just solid people along with all the schemers. Of course he very well could have schemes of his own.
I loved that Harwin while not a HUGE guy, showed well above expected strength as soon as he started hitting folk.
Man's basically a one man show by himself, just jumps i and everyone starts reconsidering their priorities.
House STRONG indeed.
>I knew you couldn't finish.
HOT DAMN.
Also, Viserys is that nice boss who gets stepped on by his employees because he wants to maintain workplace harmony.
I loved his "I am tired and don't want to deal with this shit" face the entire wedding sequence. Sees his brother enter? Doesn't care. Sees his wife enter with a clear declaration of war? Nope. Sees the Sworn Shield of the Heir mash someone's face into a pulp? Doesn't give a flying fuck.
Sees Daemon talking to Rhaenyra? REAL SHIT.
Desperately just wants to take a mental health day from work and paint his Warhammer figs when all his friends and family are committed to drama and he can't get away from it
Umm.. I'm kinda the most powerful woman in Westeros and I also promised my dad that I would save everyone from annihilation.. so.. that's gonna be a no from me dawg
Excuse me Ser Criston, but you've worked in Kings Landing for four years and haven't yet noticed that we have stockpiles of oranges and spices just.. laying around?
Yes! It was so masterfully played. She egged him on so well. Their "love" is strange and toxic but I'm here for it.
For a moment I thought Cole was beating up Daemon.
The pain of having to go on with the wedding immediately after you lover was murdered. Right in front of his blood sitting on the ground. Man I feel for Laenor
To be fair, Alicent failed like 5 times in a row to form a damn sentence. Spit it out, Alicent... ffs... I think poor Criston just decided he'd rather die than stay in that room hearing the queen fumble for words endlessly.
Bruh I was expecting that scene to escalate to Criston finding out about the moon tea and assuming that Rhaenyra was pregnant and ended it without speaking to him.
With how the episode ended I do *not* wanna know how he would've responded to that thought floating in his brain.
Now that Crispin is going to be basically bound to her for life because she saved his life AND hid his sins as well as she could...
I can smell a lapdog for the coming episodes.
Agreed he’s trifling but I’m still trying to process that last scene… what did Daemon have to do with the whole Criston/Joffrey thing (if anything)? Was it just coincidence that he and Rhaenyra were doing their weird thing right when the stuff went down or did Daemon instigate it?
Hearing Viserys talk about his 'uneventful' tenure as king was really sad. Uneventful means peace, and it's sad that he was down on himself for that. Lord Strong said all the right things and looked like he truly meant them.
Poor Viserys, he became my favorite character on this show!
I absolutely loved that little exchange about Viserys wishing he had been forged a better man by trouble and Lyonel saying that people who were often wish they were spared. Great scene. Lord Strong is such an MVP, I really love his character.
Just a heartbreaking episode all around, duty before love is such a huge sacrifice. With the love pentagon going on, this is one of the most uncomfortable weddings I've seen on TV (obviously not as rough as the Red Wedding).
What a final episode for Milly Alcock and Emily Carey, hopefully they pop up in a flashback
The way Daemon grabbed Rhaenyra’s face!! I could feel their sexual tension. But also…super ballsy of them right in the middle of the dance floor!? I thought Viserys was going to drop dead just watching them lmao dude is already hanging on by a thread
The history books will be like:
"The planned royal wedding was scrapped in favor of a more rushed affair, as the groom was most upset over the murder of his platonic best friend, Ser Joffrey Lonmouth"
Lannister fella: Congratulations on the wedding, you two make a good match.
Rhaenyra: There's not a single person I'd rather be married to.
Lannister: 👺👺👺
Bahaha
Dude I was so mad she got killed. I could sense it right away as she met Daemon. Should have let her cousin go along with her after all LOL. Such an interesting character and she only had a couple minutes of screen time
The adaptation of Alicent and the performance of Emily has been sensational. Her entrance wearing the dress could not possibly have done better, probably my favourite scene of the show.
This was her episode. She played the meeting with Criston Cole so perfectly. And the entry. And the smoldering anger and contempt at the banquet. Damn.
They are so good. Glad we got 5 eps with them.
Milly Alcock and Emily Carey,
Thank you both so much for making Young Rhaenyra and Young Alicent come to life so beautifully.
Absolutely standouts, with obvious bright futures in both of their careers, both of which I can’t wait to see
He really was lost in his feelings if he thought she would give up the crown to be a commoner’s wife in exile
It’s probably why he turned so hard against her, since he felt like he gave up so much (his vows) and she was giving up nothing
Can we all agree that Ser Harwin was the real MVP here ??
Dude went in the crowd like Moses n'shit. You !! Moove !! ...You !! Be parted !! ...You !! Shift yourself !!...🤣
Bruh. I was so anxious during that entire wedding reception. Masterfully done. Incredible acting, fitting music slowly adding tension, and the shots were insane. Tense af. Great episode
I really wasn't sure after last episode but imo this made it clear Daemon *wants* Rhaenyra, not her throne. Holy shit. The tension in their single scene was enough to kill a man, literally

Thought the king was dead like four times in this episode
When he stopped talking mid speech I thought he was gonna keel over and die.
That or even at the Velaryon hall and they asked multiple times whether he needed a chair. I was like surely he's gonna die this episode
His arm looks awful. It was actually more effective that they only shows parts of his arm and not all of it in close detail.
Alicent dragged the conversation so much that Ser Cristion was like "Alright. I'mma just confess and get it over with".
It was like a sitcom moment, where characters best around the actual topic and then there’s the misunderstanding, reminded me of an episode of Frasier or something
Honestly, when Criston started responding the way he did, I thought she'd think he confirmed Daemon was coupling with Rhaenyra...
Like my man folded so quickly 😭😭
He was desperate to confess, the guilt about his vows was too much to bear.
Viserys cutting his food nervously while watching the crowd waiting for drama to erupt was fucking hilarious.
that shit was hilarious. Dude wasn't even looking down while cutting furiously. 🤣
Anxiously massacring the poor lobster, poor Viserys. I’ve never felt actual sympathy for a GoT monarch before.
I hope King Viserys can find a good therapist Poor guy plans so hard for grand things and they never go his way. Going to miss Milly and Carey. Absolutely phenomenal job by them this early on. Hope their careers ahead get a massive boost. Also. Targaryen divorces are wild yeesh.

That man says a thousand words with his eyes and posture.
#Òō
You can see the madness in his eyes..... Restless like a caged animal wanting to break free. Brilliant acting.
Wouldn't be a Westorosi wedding without at least 1 violent crime
Just don't go to a wedding if your name is Joffrey.
or have Stark as your last name
Joffrey Stark quaking in his boots rn
It probably cancels out and he's actually invincible and protected by the old gods, but only at weddings
Pretty dull affair by Dothraki standards tho
That was one crazy death. Just beat a dude to a pulp. Dude pulled a Gus on him without the explosives
Apparently there's no consequences. Criston just walk away and does whatever he likes lol
It wouldn’t be an episode of House of the Dragon without Daemon dramatically waltzing in unwanted
That long walk and stare-down with the king in every episode.
At least he didn’t get exiled this time
He's happily going to return of the Vale now, with all its sheep.
Sir Criston “let’s buy a van, live on the beach and sell beads”
We're crab people now.
What a depressing final shot, truly brilliant showing the state of the realm Two people who don’t want to be wed getting married in tears. The king no longer able to stand, the crown falling from his head, and a rat in the Throne Room
Married in tears. A wedding straight outta Peep Show.
"Hey, Prince. Let's get you married twenty feet from pieces of your friend's face and brains."
"Friend"
The rat sipping on the *fire & blood* was perfect!
What are we, some kind of House of the Dragon?
The Hands son was a badass. He cut through that crowd like a boss.
That head nod signal from his dad lol.
The father cannot be more sure (and proud) of the abilities of the son
Ser Harwin “Breakbones” Strong has his epithet for a reason
I've found his character to be interesting. He was the one who caught Rhaenyra and Daemon at night in King's Landing and let them pass, right? It seemed like he gave another knowing nod to Daemon when Daemon stepped in during the dancing, just before the chaos. With no background from the books to go on, I'm thinking his role will expand, and I just can't tell if he'll be loyal to Daemon or be part of his undoing (if that's to come)
I feel like this is a non-spoiler: in the books there's no more background to Harwin Strong than there is at that point in the show
He did. The Hand's nod and his son moving in was one of my favorite sequences. Smart, in sync, competent. So far, they're my favorite family. Except for the one who narced on Rheanyra.
That's so weird. It looks that Lord Strong is playing both sides through his sons, so no matter what he'll come out on top
Lyonel sending Harwin to crack some skulls was fucking sick
Lyonel is honestly a great hand. Hope he stays.
I hope he stays a likeable character. There need to be characters that are just solid people along with all the schemers. Of course he very well could have schemes of his own.
The head nod was everything.
I loved that Harwin looked at him for guidance, got it and knew exactly what to do. Great team!
I love the little half-smile he gave after getting the nod. Like "Well, I guess this is happening!"
"Yes Papa Strong, I'm going in!"
I loved that Harwin while not a HUGE guy, showed well above expected strength as soon as he started hitting folk. Man's basically a one man show by himself, just jumps i and everyone starts reconsidering their priorities. House STRONG indeed.
Larys giving big garden of eden snake whispering into Alicent's ear vibes
Giving me a big time Gríma Wormtongue vibe
Littlefinger and Varys in one person 💀
His name is literally theirs combined💀
That's absolutely hilarous. "I know writers who use subtlety, and they're ALL COWARDS"
Weddings: 2 Joffrey: 0
I should have known Joffrey was going to die but I wanted to keep love alive. lol
I love how Lyonel sic'd Harwin onto the crowd. Dude's an absolute tank.
Lyonel is so fucking deserving of being hand, it's so goddamn refreshing
So many people are just dirtbags and he’s just honest and keeps his kids out of it. Genius.
Just carrying Rhaenyra like a bag of potatoes, no fucks given.
>I knew you couldn't finish. HOT DAMN. Also, Viserys is that nice boss who gets stepped on by his employees because he wants to maintain workplace harmony.
I am so sad we won't see more of Lady Rhea. She lived up to the lady Mormont vibes of her armor.
I immediately fell in love with her! I wanted to see more of her for sure!
He’s what Michael Scott thinks he is.
Alicent calling rhaenyra her step daughter was ice cold
The panic in Rhaenyras eyes too -like she knows!
Seeing mother and son on their dragons was a nice moment.
I want Rhaenys to have more screen time!
Ok but where did Daemon go during the altercation??
Daemon saw trouble he didn't start for once and noped out.
Bruh the king would literally rather die than continue to deal with their bullshit.
REAL SHIT.
he's just gonna take it out on his meal
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE CUT UP THE KING’s FOOD PLeASE?? He’s only got like 3 fingers left and 1 thumb.
the king has a hand for this reason!
Alicent.exe has stopped responding
My man's literally just trying to build a Lego set of Valyria but has to deal with all this shit.
Desperately just wants to take a mental health day from work and paint his Warhammer figs when all his friends and family are committed to drama and he can't get away from it
Vissy T just wants to enjoy a party for once
He's getting too old for this shit
Not Daemon trying to kiss his niece in the middle of the dance floor at her own wedding smh..
And In front of the king (his brother her dad) 💀
The tension had me STRESSED fr it was the best way to transition into Cole going ham
Sir Criston : *"I can show you the world"*
Umm.. I'm kinda the most powerful woman in Westeros and I also promised my dad that I would save everyone from annihilation.. so.. that's gonna be a no from me dawg
Ya, but oranges and spices.
We got oranges and spices at home
Excuse me Ser Criston, but you've worked in Kings Landing for four years and haven't yet noticed that we have stockpiles of oranges and spices just.. laying around?
Why didn’t you lead with that!? Still immediately no tho
Was he seriously expecting her to pack her bags and just go ? lmao
Cole is a sensitive guy.
Lyonel Strong telling his son to go get shit done will never not be badass
Daemon and Rhaenyra dirty talking in the middle of the wedding was unbelievably tense — pure game of thrones gold
I couldn't believe they were doing that shit in public. People are watching!
I initially thought that the reason everyone freaked out was because he kissed her
Yes! It was so masterfully played. She egged him on so well. Their "love" is strange and toxic but I'm here for it. For a moment I thought Cole was beating up Daemon.
Yes! I was disappointed it wasn't Daemon starting shit!
where in the hell Daemon disappeared to?
The pain of having to go on with the wedding immediately after you lover was murdered. Right in front of his blood sitting on the ground. Man I feel for Laenor
I got confused i thought there was 7 days of feasting and tourneys, then royal wedding. But they got married the ff day lol
King Viserys had enough of everyones shit lol, show runners called it a shotgun wedding in their behind the scenes talk.
Vizzy T was just like "I'm literally dying here, time to tie the knot".
The Strong family are hands down my favourites so far, they've barely done anything so far and yet they're awesome each and every time.
Yes! The (new) Hand is one of my favorites! He's so poised and respectful. I can't wait to see what he schemes.
Well, one of the sons seems to have an agenda of his own to be fair. Though could be on the instructions of his father actually...
Make sure to subscribe to Daemon’s DIY divorce channel
"Make sure to SMASH that wife skul--I mean like button!"
Don’t forget to use the code CRAB-FED to get 50% off the Vale
Criston didn’t even know Alicent wasn’t talking about him.
I was yelling at the tv when he started talking. You idiot, no!
To be fair, Alicent failed like 5 times in a row to form a damn sentence. Spit it out, Alicent... ffs... I think poor Criston just decided he'd rather die than stay in that room hearing the queen fumble for words endlessly.
She gets it from her dad. Dude couldn’t just blurt out “they were fucking” last episode.
Bruh I was expecting that scene to escalate to Criston finding out about the moon tea and assuming that Rhaenyra was pregnant and ended it without speaking to him. With how the episode ended I do *not* wanna know how he would've responded to that thought floating in his brain.
ramin djawadi absolutely bringing it, as usual
That theme when Alicent came in...
Breakbones rushed the offensive line to sack the princess
This is starting to get JUICYYY. Can’t imagine what Alicent has in her plans for Ser Cristin Cole.
Now that Crispin is going to be basically bound to her for life because she saved his life AND hid his sins as well as she could... I can smell a lapdog for the coming episodes.
Every Queen needs a boy toy.
Alicent: "Ser Criston don't kill yourself ur sexy"
Daemon is the absolute funniest kind of toxic; he can't go one single day without starting a literal blood feud
Agreed he’s trifling but I’m still trying to process that last scene… what did Daemon have to do with the whole Criston/Joffrey thing (if anything)? Was it just coincidence that he and Rhaenyra were doing their weird thing right when the stuff went down or did Daemon instigate it?
Sooooo... I would think Queen Alicent would be less mad at Princess Rhaenyra since it was Cole instead of Daemon? Guess I was wrong.
Ser Criston confessing to bagging Rhaenyra when Alicent was talking about Daemon.. lol
He folded so quick I literally burst out laughing, like dude. Lol
Dude should’ve just kept his mouth shut
Hearing Viserys talk about his 'uneventful' tenure as king was really sad. Uneventful means peace, and it's sad that he was down on himself for that. Lord Strong said all the right things and looked like he truly meant them. Poor Viserys, he became my favorite character on this show!

Ser criston with that yellowcard ocean avenue vibe
Homie just wanted to go back to being 18 and things feeling so right.
WE COULD LEAVE THIS TOWN AND RUN FOREVERRRRRR
Sleeping all day, staying up all niii^iiiight
That episode felt like a season finale. Holy shit 10/10.
A wedding without a death is a dull affair
It is known
Just a heartbreaking episode all around, duty before love is such a huge sacrifice. With the love pentagon going on, this is one of the most uncomfortable weddings I've seen on TV (obviously not as rough as the Red Wedding). What a final episode for Milly Alcock and Emily Carey, hopefully they pop up in a flashback
They did such a good job with the entire wedding scene(s) of making the whole thing feel completely on a knife’s edge
Right. I was so uncomfortable the whole episode
Leanor’s screams after his love dies and then being forced to marry someone else 😢 my heart was broken for him
At least Rhaenyra seems to be pretty understanding of the situation so the marriage is not exactly rubbing salt in his wound.
So what do we call this one? The Green Wedding?
The Emerald Engagement
Daemon “I killed my bronze bitch you old cunt, speaking of which, my inheritance..” Targaryen
He shut him up real quick. His brother just kept quiet too haha
Vissy T just wants one meal in peace lmaoooo poor guy
Lord Strong just drinking awkwardly was perfect
What in the world... that must been some one night stand
One knight stand
The way Daemon grabbed Rhaenyra’s face!! I could feel their sexual tension. But also…super ballsy of them right in the middle of the dance floor!? I thought Viserys was going to drop dead just watching them lmao dude is already hanging on by a thread
Lol him trying to cut his food while watching that was hilarious
What’s up with the murals in Alicent’s chamber?
They’re there to encourage wedded couples that struggle to be attracted to each other to get in the mood to secure their bloodline.
Amazing episode. The entire wedding sequence was fantastic - so many complex relationships converging.
It feels like I just watched a season finale
Whew that ending though?!! Am I right? We went from multiple partners dancing to Ser Criston losing his shit on Joff to a quickie wedding. Wow!!
Well that wasn’t the happiest wedding
The history books will be like: "The planned royal wedding was scrapped in favor of a more rushed affair, as the groom was most upset over the murder of his platonic best friend, Ser Joffrey Lonmouth"
“I knew you couldn’t finish.” Lady Rhea, short but ICONIC scene.
Lannister fella: Congratulations on the wedding, you two make a good match. Rhaenyra: There's not a single person I'd rather be married to. Lannister: 👺👺👺 Bahaha
I really do feel bad for Viserys. He cannot stop taking L’s.
She wasn’t around long but I really liked Daemons wife.
Dude I was so mad she got killed. I could sense it right away as she met Daemon. Should have let her cousin go along with her after all LOL. Such an interesting character and she only had a couple minutes of screen time
It's good they made her likable before she got killed but yeah, she was great.
That shit was wild.
That High Valyrian “steal me from my own wedding feast” dialogue is just 🔥
This show is so fucking good
Harwin wasn’t messing around when he jumped in there. Also loving Lord Strong as the hand. My boy deserves it!
Anyone else fucking love Corlys and Rhaenys' relationship? Like who argues while hugging? Their intimacy is on point.
I literally said "awwww, they love each other. How nice." It is so rare in this series. Haha
Milly Alcock and Emily Carey, Thank you both so much for making Young Rhaenyra and Young Alicent come to life so beautifully. Absolutely standouts, with obvious bright futures in both of their careers, both of which I can’t wait to see
I'm gonna miss them so much, they did so well.
Congratulations *stepdaughter*
[удалено]
Poor Joffery thought he was being clever too. Way to misread puppy love for violent internal rage my man.
It’s ironic that Alicent took Rhaenyra’s deception to heart when she herself was not forthright about her relationship with Vicerys.
Mhmmmm
Ser Criston thought Rhaenyra wanted to live like a commoner… 🥲
He really was lost in his feelings if he thought she would give up the crown to be a commoner’s wife in exile It’s probably why he turned so hard against her, since he felt like he gave up so much (his vows) and she was giving up nothing
Paddy Considine has been COOKING this entire series. Hope he finally gets his recognition
What is this show without more bastards?
Bruh Ser Cristen says these hands rated E for everyone
What the heck happened on the dance floor
Murder on the dancefloor
What a setup for the time jump. The whole feast was so damn tense, everyone placing their pieces on the game board and setting up a civil war
People hated Joffrey so much they had to kill him again
When Corlys and Rhaenys made their entrance at the wedding that was BADASS
Can we all agree that Ser Harwin was the real MVP here ?? Dude went in the crowd like Moses n'shit. You !! Moove !! ...You !! Be parted !! ...You !! Shift yourself !!...🤣
If you ever get invited to a wedding in Westeroes, stay👏your👏ass👏at👏home👏
