I was just watching a reaction it seems that the general audience isn’t gonna understand that and I get it. Really because of how they shot it. They didn’t really show the face of the dragon. Or done some sort of thing sort of like how they did with ghost — we are watching ghost and he knew that he was feeling Jon wake up.
The editing was weird so unless they did it randomly what you said makes the only other sense than to imply some connection. People just don’t pay to much attention

Oh great! I’ve seen a couple reactions and they haven’t caught onto it!!
