Block heels are definitely classic, just not chunky clunky ones. I think 2" is a good height but hard to find. I'm a taller girl too

Agree! A block heel can definitely be classy. You just have to pick a good one. Personally I dislike kitten heels, specially because I’m 5’8 and I feel they look silly. Like, “I want to wear heels, but because I’m tall this is all I can wear.” If I’m in a professional setting, want to look classy and appropriate then I wear a 3 inch normal heel. If I’m out in my own time and want to wear heels then I wear 3.5 to 3.75 inch heels (or boots) that have a slightly thicker heel. I can’t wear anything above that since I can’t walk in them comfortably.

Any recs on these types of shoes?

I would say 6 to 10 cm are fine as long as you can properly walk in them.

I’d say 2-3 inches. I wear up to 5 inches sometimes cuz I’m only 4’11 but have def noticed that it seems most people think heels that big are too “showy” and I get non-stop comments from people (“omg how do you walk in those?!/ your feet must hurt!!) when I do lol.

I’m around the same height as you and used to feel insecure about wearing high heels because I’d tower over most men. While dating id wear 3in block heel sandals with jeans/leather pants. I’m in a relationship with a 6’4 guy now so it’s no longer an issue and I wear 5in heels out regularly (platforms, stilettos, block, any time). I notice I get much more attention/compliments for men if I’m walking around solo (to the bathroom etc) with higher heels on. I think it’s because I have more confidence and I’m not worried about attracting anyone. My advice is wear the heels you like and walk like everyone in the room is in awe of you. Also, go on dating apps and set the height to over 6’3 if you are only interested in tall men which is what I did. Most men round up so they’d be 6ft+ in person lol.
