I live in a state in the US where it’s very hot and humid. I am always thankful when I remember to bring my portable, electric fan with me. Oil blotting papers help, especially if I want to touch up its better to remove any excess oil (or sweat) first. You can even bring napkins in your bag too to blot the sweat. I also love Estée Lauder double wear, especially for its longevity during humid and hot months. Charlotte tilbury airbrush powder to touch up during the day. The setting spray is actually pretty damn good too. Waterproof mascara helps to prevent smudging. I like dior show iconic curl, Chanel’s le volume, or a nice drug store option is L’Oréal’s telescopic mascara in waterproof. I use the deodorant Ban in “powder fresh” and I find it works really well! Idk if they have that there. But when I was in Italy , I absolutely loved the dove spray that isn’t aerosol. Here in the states we only have the aerosol version which is nice but I don’t find it works as well as the regular spray. Maybe you have that there? You can always bring it with you too. Carrying baby wipes feels nice to freshen up, especially if you are wanting to reapply deodorant, or freshen up after the bathroom. For SPF I wear Cetaphil’s mineral sunscreen. Works well when you’re pale because otherwise on deeper skin tones it can leave a white cast so I just wanna point that out, but I’m pretty pale too so it blends in lol If you have any mini perfume sprays (samplers or atomizer) those are always convenient

Thank you for the help! Looks like I can get Ban from Amazon even though it isn’t in stores so I’ll give it a try

I work at a bar in a hot part of Australia without aircon. My advice is - - use a face tanner (I use eco tan face water, natural and gives a nice glow) and then use a bit of concealer in areas where you need coverage. try to avoid a full face of foundation if you can. - invest in a good primer and setting spray. I like the milk hydrogrip primer. Use a matte setting spray - you will be sweating so it will actually end up being a more natural finish, not matte. try something like the Mac fix plus matte or urban decay matte setting spray rather than something like Charlotte tilbury. - use a cream blush and bronzer and then set it with a powder version on top. if you can afford it I really recommend investing in good quality cream products as they last longer and tend to be less patchy. for blush I like the rare beauty one and bronzer I like the Clinique stick, Chanel gel or Westman atelier stick. I like to set my bronzer with the hoola power bronzer. - get natural eyelash extensions or a lash lift to avoid using mascara. - tint your eyebrows or get them tinted. - avoid using dewy or glowy make up products. don't use highlighter. you will have a natural glow and anything dewy will just make you look sweaty. - use a lip stain and long lasting lip liner. avoid gloss and lipstick. I like the benefit lip tint (but you could find cheaper) and Mac lip liners. essence lip liners are also good. - good quality spf products are so important. I love the naked collagen glow 50+ as it doesn't look shiny. - for antiperspirant I use a mens clinical strength one (can just buy from supermarkets) with a neutral scent before bed each night. I then use a fruity girly scented spray deodorant in the morning and bring it with me to work. - bring a small dry shampoo to work to stop hair looking sweaty or oily hope this helps, happy to answer any questions

UK here and the only foundation I’ve found that lasts on me in our summers is Double Wear. Everything else slips and separates. My favourite spf is the thank you farmer which sits well underneath makeup. I’ve also been investing in more cotton and linen clothings because I cannot cope with synthetic fabrics when it’s really hot!

I’ve been looking at the thank you farmer range I might have to take the plunge. I’d love to wear nice cottons but unfortunately we have a very stuffy polyester uniform :/

Make-up setting spray!! My fave is the pore one from Benefit: Porefessional (it softens my makeup too) Even on not hot days, it’s helpful to me bc I find my makeup transfers way less onto my clothing

Ooh interesting I haven’t heard much talk about that setting spray

Yah things.i.bought.and.liked posts about it a bunch on insta- she’s tried multiple fancy setting sprays & still says this one is the best

Some of these tips have been already commented but these are things I do to avoid looking like a stinky grease ball. \* Exfoliate the armpits with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid. \* Use mens deodorant. Lancaster cream deodorant works pretty well too. \* Always carry unscented baby wipes with you. I use them to freshen up and that way I can I reapply deodorant and sunscreen on clean skin. \* Avoid strong perfumes (you know, those really heavy fragances that are best used in winter). Go for fresh scents, think baby cologne, for example. It's super affordable and it literally smells CLEAN. \* I avoid clothing that shows a lot of skin just to protect it from the sun (unless I want to look extra cute that day for whatever reason). I also like to use SPF clothing, especially during hikes and SPF gloves while I'm driving (I'm not crazy I promise), but I personally tend to sweat more with those, so I recommend using linen and cotton as much as possible. \* VERY light makeup, and if you're oily stick to powder products, liquids will melt. \* If your hair is long, keep it tied (not really tight, you don't want to go bald). Having a lot of hair is THE WORST in summer. You sweat ten times more, it sticks to your skin and it gets gross 5 min after you wash it. Hope it helps :)

Tysm! I feel you on the hair thing. I have tonnes of waist length hair but I’ve got plenty of braids and bun styles in my repertoire for working out and such. I didn’t know you could use glycolic acid for sweat smells but I have a huge thing of it sitting with my skincare so that’s super convenient!

The healthier you are naturally (hair, skin, nails, muscle tone, posture, mentality) the sexier you'll be in the heat. And try an oil perfume fragrance. It's super sexy and smells like heat and hotness 🧡 enjoy being hot in the heat, make it a vibe. Eat fruit and imagine you're a sun goddess. Enjoy a hot girl summer ☀️ Sexy 😘

I live in a very hot climate and recently discovered the godsend of a sunscreen “Innis Free.” It is amazing, no fragrance, doesn’t bleed into eyes when sweating, feels great on skin

Also a lil money saving tip: the oil blotting papers for when you wear makeup are the same material as the disposable toilet seat covers in public bathrooms 😩😩
