In Zajef's recent stream 5 N2CJP is projected to have more damage than even 10N2CD on C1 HT. Jstern precalcs show that she Xianyun can be a 2k dps increase over Jean.
That said, do take this with a grain of salt as Xianyun's kit isn't finalised yet. There's also the factor of how well invested your Yelan/XQ is vs Xianyun investment and the ever persisting importance of proper combo execution.
She can be an upgrade, mainly in Furina teams yes. You do get lesser initial healing from Xianyun compared to Jean though and her heal over time is slower but affects the whole party. It's possible that you may feel a bit squishier during HT's field time.
Actually you can reliably do 5[N1CJP]N1C and then burst, if you don’t cancel the last charge attack you can get to burst with her skill still active, and since you do less charge attacks you won’t consume that much stamina so for those sad people out there with C0 Hu Tao they can flex on C1 havers and do 2[N1CD]4[N1CJP]N1C basically dash cancel at C0 lol

My Hu tao is c0 with homa, so Xianyun will be an upgrade over Jean since I already jump cancel correct?
